An amazing place. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were super friendly and made me feel at ease. Richard, who did my tattoo, is clearly very experienced and highly skilled at what he does but is also a really nice guy. I was in the chair for quite a while, but his great conversation and friendly manner made the time fly. The vibe was chilled, especially with the 60's soundtrack playing in the background. As for the tattoo, I love it. Richard pays such attention to detail, and the end result has far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Brighton Tattoo shop and will most certainly go there for any future tattoos. Oh, and Sheila, thank you so much for my sandwiches and the lovely chats. Not just a day getting a tattoo, but an enjoyable day out where I met some lovely people.

Came down Saturday with my mates for butterfly tattoos! We received a warm welcome and the shop looked fantastic bright, clean and decor was fab. We signed in via protected system instead of paper work which was awesome. We then met Richard our tattoo artist who was so friendly, calming and easy to talk to. He went through our designs and adapted them to how we wanted them. Felt at ease and able to have a laugh whilst having my tattoo. All 3 tattoos were incredibly and done just how we wanted. The whole experience was just fantastic! The best tattoo shop I’ve been too and we can’t wait to come back! Might even brave the piercing this time!!😊😊 Thank you everyone!! Xxx

This place was amazing. From booking the tattoos (which we had to postpone a few times) to having them today. Sheila, the receptionist, was so friendly offering us a drink as soon as we got there. Just had my first tattoo done by Rachel and she was so lovely and reassuring, really put me at ease. Oh and I love my tattoo! She drew up a design prior to my appointment and made adjustments on the day to make sure it was just how i wanted it. A great experience, from my decision to enquire to get a tattoo through to the tattoo itself. Sheila responded to my emails quickly and had me booked in for a session with Richard promptly. (the following week). The tattoo parlour had a welcoming vibe to it, and the staff were friendly. My tattoo was a around the ankle piece which Richard expertly did, chatting away to me through to distract me from the painful bits, and before I knew it the tattoo was done. I highly recommend Brighton Tattoo shop and will most certainly go there for any future tattoos.

i came to BTS for the first time in Nov to get my septum pierced, it was a very easy process and was over in minutes - i couldn’t wait to come back to get more. i then came back in again in Jan to get my nostril and belly done and once against it was a very comfortable process and was so done so well, i hardly felt a thing. will definitely be back for more piercings soon, maybe even a few tats!

I went in with a swollen cartilage piercing (not done here), as I'd got an earring stuck and it was very uncomfortable. I'd tried for a good hour to get it out myself and couldn't budge it. The guy got it out and fitted a new one within 5 minutes, pretty painlessly and for only a fiver. Absolutely brilliant.

I went in to get my eyebrow pierced. Charlie was very friendly and efficient. He explained everything before, and while piercing, which was useful. He gave me options of size of jewel and of placement. He also explained the whole aftercare for my new piercing. Everything was very clean and hygienic which is very important, especially now. Went in with 2 of my bestfriends for tattoos of butterfly’s each traveling down from the south. We Booked in on the social media pages which was quick and easy to do paying a deposit over bank each. We then arrived at 1pm for our arrival time and were greeted at reception and booked in promptly ready for our tattoos with Richard. Richard was a friendly tattoo artist which made the experience an alround present experience making sure the tattoos were exactly as we would like but also still our own eventhough there were similar designs. Before the tattoo I was super nervous however during Richard kept the conversation going to take my mind of it which made me more comfortable and calmed my nerves down. All staff were friendly and welcoming best tattoo studio by far Iv been to. All round amazing experience and would definitely travel again to this friendly modern Tattoo Studio with full information in detail of aftercare can’t fault them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have today had the most amazing tattoo done by Richard taken from a very precious photograph of mine, and I was completely overwhelmed by the accuracy of his work. Richard did the most amazing designs based off my criteria, I loved them. Very friendly atmosphere in the shop, everyone is so nice and up for a chat. Even got a cheeky biscuit & a coffee and the tattoo looked insane! The detail was incredible I love it. I've been tattooed before a few times by other Tattooists, but by far, Brighton Tattoo Shop in the the lanes of Brighton are the best. I walked in the door, slightly early, but was welcomed by Richard, my tattooist and he immediately made me feel comfortable and excited to get inked! The shop has been finished and done out immaculately, with fantastic décor and little touches than make you feel really part of the Brighton Tattoo culture. The shop was wonderfully clean and welcoming also. My session was a forearm tattoo, around 4/5 hours long, during which I was comfortable and relaxed. Richards skill and calm nature made my whole experience great. He allowed me to take breaks when I needed too and as a northerner, I always appreciate a good brew! Charming, warm and welcoming! Brighton Tattoo Shop is now my absolute 'go too' 😊 can't rate them highly enough!

Very friendly workers and very affordable prices (especially in comparison to some other shops nearby). I went to get an eyebrow piercing, the pre-piercing process was very quick and simple, just a few details and question to fill out on an iPad and then straight to the piercing room. My experience getting my tattoo here was great, I have coloured skin and was extremely worried about getting a tattoo. The manager explained to me the different colour variations suited to my skin and explained the best way going about my tattoo. He even gave me an example of how it would look on my body. What I appreciated the most, is that I didn't feel forced to have the tattoo, I was advised to go and have a think about it, which was so lovely. Got a bridge done there, one of their trainee pierces watched, everything was done perfectly, spent their time positioning the piercing and even though I have a pretty messed up, broken nose, the piercer got it done perfectly. I had my first tattoo done here and I loved it. The tattoo Artist took is time to help us with our design and we were not rushed. Myself and my girlfriend got matching tattoos and we have since gone back for another one as well as touch ups. But what makes this place the best tattoo parlour if all time is the tattoo artist that runs the place is such a lovely guy that whenever we are in Brighton we stop over to say hello even if we are not getting any tattoos done.

We were walking around Brighton and saw a sign for inked up and saw that walk-ins were welcome. We did a quick google search just to make sure it was clean and did good work. They were very clean. Right from the first min I was glad I'd found this studio, it bright, modern, super clean and the staff all very friendly. I spoke to Katie the owner and piercer. I was a little nervous as this was my first piercing but her professional but friendly manner put me at ease. Had my nose pierced and realised I had nothing to be worried about in very capable hands. I was given advice and an after care sheet to ensure the piercing heals properly. All this at a v reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Inkedup Brighton to anyone and will def be back next time I visit Brighton

Got a piecing from a guy called Mike, wouldn't normally leave reviews but this dude was so on point. He went the extra mile to make me feel relaxed and at ease, talked me through the whole thing, very professional. Least painful piecing I've had, so quick. Great little place BUT we got ripped off - the lady bumped the price up from £70 to £100 just as we were paying due to "lots of shading" which took at most 10 minutes. Another tat took 10 minutes and cost £40 - great if you've got lots of money to blow.
