I have recently had my lips blushed by the lovely Jess at Chapter XIII! I went for my top up a few days ago and I have to say both my appointments with Jess were great. Jess is so professional, calm and fabulous at what she does. I absolutely love the colour she did and I cannot wait to see the outcome once my lips have healed! I also had part of my tattoo done by the lovely Lou, and she also did a fabulous job! She was so professional, patient and her artistic skills are simply amazing! Can’t wait to go back for the last part of my tattoo! Highly recommended! 😊

Unique. An urban art gallery with a tattoo parlour and a lovely cafe. Hot homemade soup. Outside seating. Easy access. Yards from the beach. Very friendly.

LIMBO did a beautiful job on my 1st tattoo. The design process was fun and led to an original, organic result which is meaningful to me. He executed his design carefully & patiently, no rushing. And he explained everything very clearly making it a pain-free and enjoyable experience.

Highly recommend! A friend and I got pierced by Jess and we both had a great experience- she's a really experienced and knowledgable piercer who makes you feel very at ease. The whole piercing procedure is quick and easy and she's very diligent about aftercare and sterilising equipment. Really good prices as well! I'll definitely be returning to her next time I plan on getting another piercing! :)

I discovered this place by complete accident whilst waiting for a coach. A few days later I booked myself in for a consulation. It was great to have that time to work with Zannie on putting all of my ideas together. I really felt that she understood my vision so I was confident to move forward. The tattoo is now done and is stunning. Zannie's professionalism from beginning to end is notable. The tattoo studio and all of the equipment is very clean which is important. The concept of the café and tattoo studio is very quirky. I haven't had a proper coffee here yet but I will next time. Highly recommended.

Jess is a wonderful lady who is so knowledgable, friendly and helpful. She is in fact changing my life with her skills. I have a medical condition that she is assisting me to hide with cosmetic tattoos. I have also had my eyebrows microbladed by Jess and am delighted with the results. Won’t go anywhere else now. Sakura is so lovely, She has done three of my tattoos and has always tweaked them to look even better then how I imagined them to be. My husband also has his done here. We come every August for our wedding anniversary. Now thinking of what to have next year.

I'm not typically a review-writing person, but this place was honestly so good that I have to. I'm a broke student studying abroad that wanted a helix piercing, so I went on a quest to find a place that had the best price that was also affordable and quick. I was in Brighton for the day, so I just walked in, expecting the price to be exorbitantly high because the place was very nice, very clean, and all the London tattoo parlors charge like 50-60 pounds for one piercing.The lady working here was extremely nice, answered all my questions, and then after hearing the price was 25 pound for my helix piercing (HALF of what my friends paid in London parlors, and they had to pay extra for a jewel whereas here it was a flat price) I was all in. The piercing room was very hygienic, truly like a doctor's office, and she was very careful with making sure everything was sterile. I kept touching my ear without realizing it, and every time she cleaned it again (I felt so bad that I kept accidentally doing it but it really did show how dedicated she was to it being perfectly sterile!). I was little nervous since I only had two piercings on each ear before this and they were both on the lobe, so I knew this was going to hurt more. She was obviously very experienced as it was quick, smooth, easy, and I was done much faster than I had expected, despite the hold ups from my constant ear-touching, haha. The price was good, the place was clean, the piercer was friendly, experienced, and wonderful (Im dying to remember her name!!) and overall I'm just so glad I found this place. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Also, there's an adorable fuzzy tarantula in the coffee shop area. I would come say hello!

My friend Sian has had an odd piercing in her nose for the last 5 years because the piercing that they used was very odd indeed! After trawling through every piercing shop/jeweller in the area, everyone said that it would very difficult to get out and just to cut it off! By chance we found her shop and tried one last time to see if we could find help... She was the only one in the north and south laine that would even take a look at it. It was extremely clean, sterile and she was very friendly. And she managed to get her piercing out easily and replace with a much more sensible and liveable option. Sorry we didnt get her name but whoever you were you were brilliant! Would absolutely reccomend!

I had a beautiful tattoo designed and inked by Sakura on Sunday and can't rate this place highly enough! Sakura was very accomodating and went out of her way to make my friend and I feel comfortable and happy. My tattoo's are stunning and even better than I had hoped for and I will definitely be back for more. It is hard to find a tattooist you trust and who delivers but this is one! I am from London but would happily travel to get tattooed here again - Sakura is amazing!

Nice little coffee bar only a short distance from the beach and located by the coach station. Perfect location while you wait and watch for your coach to park. I would have preferred it, if they sold Fairtrade coffee.

Cannot recommend this place enough... the staff make the place and the quality of work is just outstanding, such a comfortable environment and wonderful place to hang out or get some work done... Im no youngster 57 and decided it was about time to get pierced ... i had a tragus and neck jewels done by Jess .She made me feel completely at ease and was all done within minutes , the aftercare is superb none of this " "ive had your money off you go" ..thankyou guys i shall be back 😊
