Just had my ear pierced with Alex. He was friendly, sensitive and made me feel really relaxed. Very clean and highly sanitised environment was also very reassuring. Whole procedure was easy and comfortable. I have sensitive ears and the range of earrings available was great and high quality too. I highly recommend.

Been waiting for Guru to start under-mask piercings again and so pleased they’ve finally been able to! I was straight in for a piece of jewellery for my existing nostril piercing. It was my first time investing in a premium piece for my nose and I’m thrilled: as my piercing is 16 years old, I thought the gauges would be too large but Gem did an amazing job fitting the piece Orla helped me choose. Popped into Guru today to look at jewellery while visiting Brighton and they were so lovely! They helped my mum find some pretty ear studs that fit her budget and would be comfortable for 24/7 wear, and fitted them for her for free. Reposting from personal Google account. Booked in to get some stacked lobe piercings at Guru and was absolutely blown away by how lovely both Orla and Franki were. Orla helped me pick out the perfect jewellery for my piercings and she suggested the best placement idea which ended up looking incredible and just what I wanted. Franki my piercer was also absolutely amazing and so friendly and helpful. She put me at ease immediately and offered me advice about an old piercing I had and we talked about possible future ideas for piercings too. Guru body piercing was absolutely fantastic. I had been toying with the idea of getting my conch pierced for months and needed to find a new place to go in Brighton, I came across guru as it had good reviews and decided to give it a go. Well what can I say, the staff were fantastic and really knowledgeable. They put me at ease as I was nervous and Alex spent time with me picking out the jewellery, the actual piercing was done by Gemma and she was fantastic it was quick and low pain. They explained all of the aftercare with me and even go through the trouble of checking the piercing out in 4-6 weeks time to change it to a smaller bar- which I have never had with a piercing shop before. The placing of the piercing is perfect and I think the photo speaks for itself- the jewellery I picked is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so so much to the team for making my experience so good and I will definitely recommend guru to any friends and family.

The best piercing experience ever! I went in for my conch, having worked myself up for two hours before with fears of it being absolutely horrendous (for context, I’d had a not so great experience with my Daith elsewhere). Orla and Alex helped me choose my jewellery, were ever so friendly and understanding, and Gem did an amazing job of making it all seem incredibly easy - she gently explained everything to me, was incredibly patient, but overall was very experienced - she put me more at ease than I’d expected and I almost didn’t notice she’d finished the piercing until she asked me to sit up. Not bad considering I’d been shaking with nerves beforehand! And can we talk about how beautiful the jewellery is? Granted, I spent more than I expected to but I don’t regret it at all. I went with a marquise shape, set with Swarovski crystals in 18k gold. I’ve now gone from thinking this was my last piercing to planning at least my next two with the Guru team.🥰 Very chuffed and glad I made the decision to book in!

I had my nipple pierced this morning, the ladies were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and I was instantly put at ease despite being a little nervous and having lots of questions. I went to Guru for my daith piercing. I had it pierced 2 years ago elsewhere and it went all wrong and was pierced in the wrong place. Finally decided to get it fixed and Guru were lovely! Alex was so welcoming when I arrived and put me at ease and then I saw Gem who pierced my ear. She was lovely and as gentle as possible. We nattered about all sorts and they took their time to make me feel comfortable. The studio was very clean and professional too. I now wouldn’t go anywhere else for my piercings! Guru is the best place to get your piercings done on the south coast! I came in to have my first piercing done and the staff were incredibly friendly and very professional. The jewellery is lovely and Orla is super knowledgeable about all the different pieces which helps makes your decision easier. As this piercing was my first I felt quite nervous before I arrived but as soon as I spoke to Jem my piercer I knew I was in very capable hands. The loveliest of experiences! I’ve just had two ear piercings an hour ago and felt compelled to write a review straight away. Orla and Gem put me immediately at ease (where other piercing studios have sometimes intimidated me!). They shared their passion, care and knowledge with me when I was debating which jewellery to choose and the placement of the piercings. This is a really boutique experience and the jewellery is much finer than in other places but so is the experience! The process of piercing was really clean, as pain free as possible and Gem talked me through it. I loved how genuine both girls were and how their happiness at the results matched mine. I had the best experience you could have when thinking about getting a piercing. Alex who pierced my earlobe painlessly, is not only exceptionally skilled but also a really lovely person to talk to as well. He did such a great job! I was waiting to feel some kind of pain when getting my ear pierced, but absolutely nothing. I had to ask Alex if he had already done it because I didn't feel any pain at all. Thank you for such a pleasant experience! I have wanted to get my septum pierced for a while but was holding out for "the right time". Alex was wonderful - super knowledgeable and informative whilst being friendly and gentle. Incredible place, the prices are fairly cheap and the piercings are done very professionally by lovely people. I messed up my piercings so I had to go back and get them redone, they were super lovely about it we had a laugh and they did it free of charge. They're very kind, very chatty and very very good at what they do. They have multiple options for jewellery as well! Definitely the only place in Brighton that I go to for my piercings.

Best piercing studio ever! Super friendly and professional. Had my lobes done by Izaak and love them. Recently had a problem with my other piercings that were botched by previous piercers - came into Guru twice and got tons of help from Charlie who gave me loads of advice and cleaned everything up for free! Everything's looking much better now, thanks to her. She's even told me to keep her regularly updated with how I get on with my piercings so they genuinely do care about their customers. These guys really are the best and I'll be coming here from now on for all piercing related stuff - 10/10! :-)

Such a friendly, helpful and professional team! Had my nostril done a while ago - the lovely Mairead made me feel very relaxed! At first it was struggling to heal and after about 3 weeks I came back in looking for some advice, Orla had a quick look and had Alex change my jewellery from a stud to a flat top to help it along. I always come here if it's piercing related as it's a tiny shop they tend to spend more time making sure you're ok and you won't leave feeling disappointed. 10/10 full customer experience! After being referred to this piercing studio (the one I was going to go to..their piercer wasn't there! Still had a good chat though) I was so delighted to walk into the shop and see smiling faces! I went in to Guru to get a tunnel that had cross-threaded out of my ear as I couldn't get it to budge. Firstly Alex tried to get it out of my ear but to no avail and so got Charlie as I quote "we needed the extra muscle" both were incredibly professional and even tried to save the tunnel from being bent out of shape. Completely painless removal as well which I was not expecting as I had put my ear through hell trying to get the damn thing out. Going back tomorrow to get my nose pierced and I can't wait ☺️
