Want to say thankyou so much to the staff at blue banana!. Over night my piercing came out and had slightly healed over. But the lady said she would fit me in to see the lady who does all the piercings. She was so lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone if this happens.

I got my double helix done here. Wonderful atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and the piercing process was as quick and painless as possible. A tip for anyone going for a piercing would be to make sure you have a good chunk of your day free, as it is a walk in service and you cannot make bookings. As a result there's oftentimes a bit of a wait before you can get your piercing done. You can leave the store while you're waiting and they'll text you when it's close to the time for your appointment, though, so I wouldn't say it's that much of an issue. The piercing room itself was private and clean, and the person who pierced my ear checked in with me on the placement and really did their utmost to ensure I got the best piercings possible. They used a needle for the piercing itself. All in all, will definitely go again for my next piercings!

Highly recommended. My 8 years old daughter has her ear lobes pierced here. Staff was extremely helpful. Ears healed nicely, no infection whatsoever. Lovely customer assistant offered closing ball when my daughter lost her after 3 weeks. Don't waste Your time going to high Street accessories shop whith Your child, I did this mistake 2 year ago and my girl ended up with bad infection and antibiotics. Blue banana use sterile needle and piercing.

Wanted to shout out because the wonderful staff here saved me on a day I was running a little late, had a wedding reception in the evening and left both my shoes and my shirt at home in a perfect storm of timing. Found what I needed here (though the footwear I did end up getting elsewhere) and thanks to excellent staff, actually picked up some stuff I didn't go in for at first. But a much-coveted Purple Rain t-shirt and some excellent masks more than make up for that. Had a great time at the reception, by the way! I'd had most of the hassle out of the way once I paid a visit here.

Offers a piercing booth inside, I've had three lots of piercings there myself and have never had any issues. Correct after care, very hygienic and made sure I felt comfortable. I took my daughters here for belly button piercing and ear piercing yesterday. Was so impressed at the professional service provided. Despite not being able to go in the room with my girls (13 year old having belly button and 10 year old having ears), both girls felt safe and comfortable and the piercer Niamh put both of them completely at ease and made it all very easy. Highly recommend. Also better value for ear piercing in terms of cost than another high street chain option.

got a eyebrow piercing done by Harriet Tyler and i love it so much. Harriet was so kind and helped me since i was quite anxious. Its also great how most of the time you can get a walk in piercing as sometimes as i’m shopping i just decide i want to go and get one as it’s right next to the shopping centre. I was able to go and get food while i wait for my slot and they give you a text 10 mins before so you can make your way back to the shop. The only downside is the actual store itself as they don’t sell many plus size options and i wish they’d expand on that.

Popped in today for a navel piercing. Spoke to great staff at the tils who informed me there was a 2 hour wait although I didn't have to sit there and wait, they booked me a slot and I was able to wander off and return at my scheduled time. When I returned I had a 10 min wait then was taken into a very sterile piercing room with a competent and reassuring piercer called Heather. She did a fab job and I am extremely happy with the service and after care advice given. Thanks so much Blue 🍌!!!

Just had a micro dermal piercing done, the procedure was quick and pain free. I was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed by Leanne the wonderful lady who did the piercing. I live in Spain and waited many months to get it done by this lady as she did my mother's and my sisters piercings and they had no issues whatsoever. Great shop- the staff were friendly and very helpful. They do same day appointments on a walk-in basis which is really helpful for most. Even though the entrance to the piercing room at the back of the store feels as if you are entering a changing room, the room itself was extremely hygienic. The lady who pierced my helix was very experienced and well qualified. I was given a lovely free aftercare kit which among other things, contained a bottle of organic tea-tree oil- which was an added bonus. Overall, I would highly recommend this shop over several others in Bristol.

I have had 4 piercings done here, absolutely amazing and friendly staff who talk you through the procedure and the piercer that I had when I got my right tragus done talked me through how long I’d have to wait before I could change it, cleaning routine etc. They also even help if you have any problems, they were absolutely brilliant when my left ear lobe got badly infected after I wore a pair of Claire’s earrings for a day, they sorted it out and now my ear is absolutely fine. I would definitely recommend this shop for someone who likes alternate fashion or piercings!

I've had both my helix and lobes pierced at Blue Banana. I couldn't recommend it enough, the staff are friendly and helpful as well as the piercing room clean. So I had my doubts when getting my nose and helix pierced here, I thought it would be unsanitary and done by people who weren’t qualified. However, I’m pleased to say that I was wrong. You go into a private room that’s sanitary and away from prying eyes, the piercer is lovely to talk to so I trusted them. They talk you through the cleaning process e.g the things you should and shouldn’t do and you can ask any question you need to. All the piercers are qualified and you get a free care kit. Overall, it was a very stress free experience and I would go again!

If, for some unfortunate reason, you were not born with precisely the correct number of holes in your body, or you are in to self harm, then pay these guys a visit. Basically, if you've got it, they can put an unnecessary hole in it! No booking system, just some bizarre putting a paper bag in a basket ritual which then means you will get pricked at some point in the future. Didn't see anyone die or hear any screams whilst I was there, which has to be a good thing. One person had second thoughts and didn't turn up for her appointment, but hey, it's her loss/gain. So, what did I have done? Well unfortunately they don't let you take photos or video, so I guess I'll just have to let your minds boggle.

Had my daith pierced in the Birmingham branch but they didn't screw the ball on properly and it fell off a day later, so I popped into the Bristol branch who were very helpful and screwed the ball back on for me and gave me advice on how to look after and clean the piercing while it healed - something the staff in the Birmingham branch weren't too clear on.
