In the last Six months this Tattoo Studio has been taken over by a completely new team of talented artists. We are a Custom studio as well as having a solid range of one off Flash Designs Ready. Stew Paton at Holey Skin on Bath Road is an incredibly talented tattoo artist!! I could not have had a better experience here, considering it was my first tattoo and I was pretty nervous. I asked for a billion changes to the design but Stew was really understanding and patient, saying it's important to get what I want. His drawing skills are insane, and the end result is so beautiful I can't imagine ever not being excited by it. Practically speaking, the shop is very clean and you're surrounded by gorgeous drawings and artworks. I came away from the whole process with thoughts of my next tattoo... I'll be back Stew!

Today, I saw Stewart who was so friendly, an amazing drawer/artist. He done a wonderful job doing my tattoo. Unfortunately I don’t live in Bristol so I probably won’t be able to go back soon; but if I did I would be there everyday!!!

I've had two tattoos with Sean now and both experiences have been great. We looked through designs together and came up with the best one. Then the tattooing itself was a great experience. I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable. I'd say it was an enjoyable experience where I got my needs met and the aftercare advice was on point too. Stew is an incredible tattoo artist. It was his amazing illustration work that first caught my eye. I saw a picture of some beautiful honeysuckle and bumble bee he’d drawn and knew instantly I wanted it as a tattoo. I was nervous at first about how it would translate onto my body but Stew took the time to talk me through different positions and what would work best for me. He put me totally at ease during the process and was truly professional at the same time. I was delighted with the results and received so many complements which was nice. Stew has since drawn and tattooed me a beautiful Jay bird and I’m sure I’ll be back for more.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Had several tattoos done over the span of 3 years done by Stewart and Ava. Very helpful staff always going through designs and helping you decide what would look good, their guide on how to look after your tattoos after they're done has left mine looking stunning. We chatted about designs and he took everything on board, coming up with something that captured exactly what I wanted but far better than I could have imagined. Stew took a design I had sketched out of a twig and turned it into something beautiful to sit just right in the place I wanted it. I never wanted a tattoo before and then suddenly wanted this, and I couldn't be happier with the deign or the experience. He's a total legend who makes the whole experience easy and fun.

Holey Skin have always been my go to for my tattoos & piercings. whilst visiting Bristol I visited Angels for a daith piercing... They were FAB!! I'm not fond of needles or pain for that matter, but Mel put my mind at rest and got the job done!! A month on I'm pleased to say that the piercing is healing well and not 1 migraine or headache... Can't recommend these ladies enough!! Thank you!!!!

Mikey and shaun are the very best tattooist ive ever come across. Patient and cheerful at all times. They can desighn something for you from anything you bring them. Prices are reasonable too.
