I've had all 12 of my piercings done here and every time I've had a great experience. The piercers I've had have always been very informative and willing to answer every question I've had. Very clean and lovely staff! Never had a tattoo here but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a piercing!

I went here recently to get my nose pierced, the staff were lovely and friendly. I was a bit nervous but was reassured by staff. It was a quick process, good priced. I would defiantly go here to get any other piercing

Best place in Colchester for tattoos and piercings! Really nice friendly staff and they have both female and male tattooists. The studio is very clean and has a nice feel to it. Bibi was great with my daughters piercings 😀

I popped into Colchester Body Arts today to get a piercing removed that was causing me a lot of pain. Bibi really kindly removed and cleaned the piercing for me in about 10 minutes time. I was so happy and relieved - thank you so much! ❤️

This was my first tattoo and I was made to feel very at ease and comfortable. The premises were very clean and covid compliant. The whole process was explained and I was given clear instructions on the aftercare. I would certainly go there again if having another tattoo.

I’ve had quite a few tattoos done by Josh and Emily here and absolutely love all of them. They both pay lots of attention to detail and makes sure you’re 100% happy with the placement and size of your tattoo before they start. All the artists provide a friendly, relaxing and chatty atmosphere in the studio and I think that makes the experience so much better, especially if you’re a bit nervous. I couldn’t recommend body arts enough, I will definitely be getting more work from these guys in the near future!

Love this place. Josh has tattooed all but 1 of my tattoos on the right side of my body and I love them all. Highly recommend, very entertaining conversations + TV. Pain is less than every other tattoo too! They also really know their stuff about tattoos and you can tell they're passionate.

I have been coming to Colchester body arts for the last 8 years for my piercings and tattoos. I couldn’t recommend these guys more highly if I tried! They are very welcoming and professional and if I could give more stars I would. The body piercer Bibi is very helpful and talks you through the entire process of getting your piercing which is relaxing and comforting especially if you are feeling a bit anxious! She is very knowledgable about piercings and aftercare so you come away knowing exactly how to care for your new piercings! I haven’t had any issues with healing at all as I followed the aftercare she gave me :) I have also had tattoos done by Josh, Emily, Kiri and Stewe in the past and all have been exceptional! I always recommend these guys to my friends and family for tattoos! They are very accommodating and helpful with any ideas and make them come to life in a beautiful tattoo! 10/10 for the team! Keep smashing it 😁

I visited today and was seen by Bibi. Having not worn earrings for a while I was having difficulty putting any in due to the hole closing/shrinking. I was extremely impressed by the care, professionalism and helpfulness on my visit. The hygiene standards are extremely high and Bibi was lovely. This was my first visit and I very nearly went to a jeweller instead. So glad I didn’t- I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Bibi.

One of the best tattoo and piercing studios in Essex! Professional and knowledgeable people, who know their trade well. They are also very welcoming, accommodating and have great banter! There is a TV to watch films whilst getting tattooed and they allow ample breaks if you want to have them. There is a jewellery cabinet if you wish to purchase piercings and jewellery. They will even order jewellery in for you if you like! Everything is very clean and modern, the studio is situated on North Hill just off the High Street, so easy to get to. For parking, St Mary's is the closest best value car park. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tattoos or piercings!

I had my tragues re pierced i had originally had it done years ago, but it healed up. I attended today, and unfortunately i didnt even ask the lady her name. She was amazing. All covid standards were in place, the rooms were clean, tidy, safe. I didnt even feel it being pierced. Before, when i had it done, they got it stuck and it was painful. Ibwas in and out within a few minutes. I was given good advise and she was happy for me to return if i had any concerns. Highly recommend.

Totally painless! I normally faint with needles but they put me at complete ease. One did hurt slightly as it was through scar tissue but a 2nd new piercing was literally painless, I didn't even feel it happen. 100% recommend. I'm waiting until my kids are old enough so they can come- not letting them have the horrible gun-piercing I had done as a kid.

Had a belly piercing yesterday. Really professional and calming staff who helped with my nerves and fully explained the after care. Barely any pain, only mild discomfort, very quick and beautiful jewelry. Was the only place that asked for ID which I think is very professional. Would recommend highly and will most likely return.

Just had a neck and chest tattoo by Josh, taken nearly two full days and probably the best tattoo I have. So much better than the one on the other side of my neck from immortal ink in Chelmsford. Well worth the cost and the very numb bum, thank you Josh fantastic tattoo and cannot recommend him enough if your thinking of getting one.

Love this place! Had all my piercings done here and the staff are professional, friendly and quick. They explained the aftercare advice and made sure i understood it, and also explained why they were using the jewellery they did, never had a problem with any of my piercings! If i have questions or i'm not sure i just go in and ask and they always make time to help me.

I chose to come here as I've viewed the artwork by the three excellent tattooists that work here and I was more than impressed by their work. The receptionist is very friendly and warming when welcoming customers so you instantly feel right at home. I've only had one tattoo done here by Josh Wilson and I couldn't be happier with the work he has done so far! When you're having your tattoo done, you can enjoy a film or TV on their large flat screen (which helps deter from the tattoo pain!). All the staff their seem to take a huge amount of pride in their work and they are all wonderful people to have a conversation with and keep you relaxed. They also do not charge silly money for a session (some places in Colchester seem to think they're worth more than they are). Piercings are also available. I had one done before they moved from the High Street and I was very happy with the service and aftercare information I received. Overall, bloody brilliant place!

The service was friendly. Very hygienic. Didn't hurt a bit! They have the most amazing numbing spray I've ever come across. I certainly recommend this place. One downside is that its cash only. Would be better if you could do quick pay/transfer but oh well
