I got my helix pierced at Psara Piercing around two weeks ago- as it was my first cartilage piercing I did not know what to expect but Psara was so kind and helpful and guided me through the whole process! The piercing itself did not hurt at all, and even though I swim regularly I’m in no pain and it seems to have healed already and looks great! The care package I got after getting the piercing was such a lovely surprise too :). Psara was absolutely fantastic. I took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time and got my second earlobe piercing at the same time. Everyone was reassuring and friendly and Psara took great care to make sure the piercings were in exactly the right place. They were able to pierce both ears quickly and relatively painlessly at the same time. The whole experience was stress-free and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend enough! This was my first time getting pierced by Psara and I can tell you this is the best piercing salon in Colchester hands down. It was my 3rd time getting septum piercing done and this one was the least painful of them all (that's how you know it was done right). Nicest girls working there, the most relaxing atmosphere, best recommendations regarding healing, left with a little goodie bag as well! Overall the best piercing experience I've ever had. Well what can I say?! These ladies are the very best in the business! An outstanding experience from start to finish for ear piercing for myself and my 11 and 9 year old daughters. I highly recommend Psara for piercing. I had my Daith pierced with her in July 2021, as I had suffered from migraines for 40 years. I was petrified and had taken 18 months to pluck up the courage. Psara is confident and skilled in her craft, which was really reassuring and calming. Healing was so fast, I with was able to get a change up to a ring in just 3 months, which is pretty amazing for a Daith. Best of all, the piercing has meant I am now 1 year migraine free! I have been back to her pristine salon several times, when she has pierced my other Daith, a flat, forward Helix and 4 lobe piercings. All have healed fast and without any issues. You get a goody bag with aftercare instructions and healing oil/balm. I foolishly, (when Psara’s salon was shut) tried another much hyped salon in town for a Helix piercing. It got painful and ended up with a bump, so I headed to Psara for help. She fitted a longer bar and the bump and pain quickly went. As I’ve said this lady really knows her stuff, she’s a perfectionist and genuinely takes pride in her piercings. My advice is, go to Psara if you or your children want piercings, as you won’t be disappointed. If you suffer from migraines run to her, it’s been a game changer for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recently went in here for some help with troubled piercings, although not new they had become inflamed after removal due to MRIs and I couldn't put them back in a few days later. These lovely ladies had a look, popped my earring back in (note these weren't their own earrings) had a look at the lump, gave me some tea tree free of cost and I had a lovely chat and catch up too! Ignore the recent negative review someone jealous and childish person has left for psara. I have had many piercings and been to several places in Colchester. I can honestly say psara is by far the best in the area. She clearly is way above many in the area with her knowledge and experience. She's friendly and reassuring. I have always had problems with healing piercings but since going to psara I've not had any issues with any new piercings. She's quick and efficient and well worth the money.

An epic new journey!!! If the option of 11/10 stars was here, I'd click that 20 times! I am sitting on the train home after a beautiful week of learning with Psara Piercing and BSBP... So here are my thoughts... I haven't felt so happy to wake up in the mornings to learn and do new things since I was in college studying music in my youth. Honestly I was nervous to start my course but I needed change as a creative environment is best suited to me. So day 1. Initial meet and greet with fellow students and my teacher Sarah. Could not have asked for a more wholesome and supportive bunch of people to spend the week with! Sarah is literally, the best teacher I've had since I was 16 and studying drums! I truely mean that. My respect for her is through the roof. Throughout the week she tended to each and every students needs, and was vigilant and observant enough to take into account confidence issues and mental health conditions. I have ADHD and so she knew how to teach me. A well researched humanoid. I was engaged and stimulated the entire week and given the tricky practical exercises to keep me from getting bored. Excellent! We covered everything from the science of these procedures to marketing and brand awareness and technical skills and experience in the practical sense... Piercing actual clients was the most valuable. I feel truely blessed to have spent the week on this intensive course. I am in the train, a fully qualified and professional body piercer! Life is good. I am excited to start my new journey and feel happy to wake up everyday to go to work!!! If you are thinking of doing this course for whatever reason, I highly recommend it as it is 6 days of epic learning, in a friendly and accommodating environment... you will leave confident in your abilities and start a new journey as a professional!!! Wow. I have had my ears done twice at Claire's accessories in the past and they have damaged my ears so much, leaving a great deal of scar tissue. I am getting married in a month and really wanted my ears done for the day. Unsure if they could be done I rang to ask advice. The lady I spoke to was so professional and took the time to listen to my concerns but assured me it was likely it would be fine. I arrived for my appointment in their new office which is lush and was greated warmly. Again the same lady I spoke to was there to welcome me and again listen to me go on about the scarring and my fears. She once again assured me and once in the piercing room she took the time to properly measure out the 4 earrings I wanted and evenly spaced them out. My ears despite being heavily scarred hardly felt the needles and after it was all said and done the only thing I felt was a little warmth from my ears. Previously with Claire's accessories hurrendous gun my ears ached afterward. The aftercare at Psara was second to none and she said no matter what happened she would ensure I got the piercings I wanted here. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Highly recommended thanks Psara. The only piercing shop I will use in future. I have left the same review on the company's Facebook under my maiden name but they deserve all the praise I can give so posting it here too. This is the only shop you need.

Had my Daith pierced at Psara Piercing last Friday, was very nervous to begin with but after chatting away with Sarah my nerves eased and i was ready to be pierced! Considering there was no freezing involved, piercing was fine and Sarah was gentle!! Couldnt fault the procedure in any way, shape or form! After care tips and after care box that is included in the price is awesome, such a lovely touch! No swelling the morning after and i was completely pain free, forgot the piercing was even there!! I specifically had this piercing for severe migraines (i had up to two a week) and i can happily say i am now 9 days migraine free!!

I have been suffering with migraines since I was 16years old and I'm now 40, as you can imagine that’s a lot of brain pain. I’d seen some posts regarding daith piercings preventing migraines and after a lot of hesitation I decided to take the plunge and have the piercing. I was in the middle of a migraine attack and couldn’t cope any longer, I called Psara to ask how quickly they could get me in and this lovely kind lady said come down now and I will fit you in. I was driven to Rowhedge business park and was greeted by Sara who was so kind, helpful and full of knowledge she put me at ease and carried out the piercing. I’m now 1 week post piercing and it’s healing really well and I’m currently migraine and headache free. I appreciate 1 week isn’t evidence that I will not ever get a migraine or headache but currently I feel really good and usually in a week I would have had daily headaches and potentially 1 migraine which I take daily medication for. If this continues then I’d have wished I’d had it done years ago. Thank you Sara for your kindness and I’ll keep in touch.

Due to not having a piercing since I was very little, I was quite nervous (to say the least) about getting my Daith pierced. I carried out some research online beforehand (being the anxious person I am!) and came across the rave reviews of Psara Piercing, so I travelled over an hour to visit. It was such a positive experience! Psara is a very lovely and kind person. She made me instantly feel at home. I was so engrossed in our chat that I totally forgot about the piercing itself and before I knew it, it was done! I was given a bag full of goodies afterwards which contained some aftercare instructions. Something I was completed taken aback by! It was a very thoughtful gesture. I would not hesitate one bit to drive the distance again to visit this studio. Side note: There is also a small adjoining shop where Psara stocks some well-being goodies! Perfect for any gifts for friends or family, or simply just treating yourself. Definitely worth a visit! I’m looking forward to coming back for the next one! I cannot recommend this studio highly enough. ✨
