I booked in with Bold & Gold through their online platform, which was super easy, and saw the lovely Kate for my septum piercing. ♡ I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything felt extremely safe and professional, and Kate made me feel super comfortable. She helped me choose a piece of gold jewellery for the piercing (which I'm completely obsessed with), and placed it perfectly. She talked me through every stage and had me smiling and laughing the whole time - honestly i wouldn't go anywhere else after this experience. I highly recommend Bold & Gold to anyone looking for a new piercing or even just a special piece of jewellery. Such a beautiful place with an incredible selection and an amazing team. Thank you Kate, you made my day!

Have had multiple piercings by both Nikki and Kate, and each experience has been such a delight (well as much as it can be when you’re getting holes in your skin). Both are incredibly welcoming and they really put you at ease. They make sure you know exactly what’s going on and what to expect, and are always very happy to answer any questions or concerns. The studio is clean and welcoming, and the jewellery selection is amazing look at, even if you’re just admiring it. I am always excited about going in there and seeing what new shiny things are on offer. Plus I am excited for a bit of banter- I’m normally shy and reserved but I feel so comfortable talking to everyone in the place. Prices may be higher than others, however I feel like their prices are fair and a good deal considering how much care and attention they give. They have such a wealth of knowledge and it’s just a pleasant experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t feel comfortable going anywhere else for a piercing. You get what you pay for! If you are hesitating on going, please rest assured you are in good hands with Bold and Gold, and go get that new shiny! They will make you feel incredible.

Okay so I very rarely give reviews. But this time, I can't help it! I am just SO happy with my nostril piercing that I had done with Nikki last weekend! I am shocked since I usually have sensitive skin, and she must really have magic wands instead of needles because its not red at all, the swelling has been minimal and it feels very comfortable. Plus I was very nervous, and Nikki was very kind and guiding me through the process, didn't hurt at all, just felt a bit of pressure and that's it! Plus, a lot of people have told me it looks like its been there for years. As if it was always meant to be there. Always meant to be a part of me! The placement was on point. Nikki, you’re the best! Very excited for it to finish healing and to change up earrings, because Bold & Gold has an amazing selection of beautiful pieces. I even wanted a particular type of hoop that they didn't have, and Nikki was so kind as to meet with a blacksmith to see if they could get it done for me! Can’t thank you enough, really! Am recommending you all the time.

I’ve now had two piercings done at Bold and Gold by the lovely Nikki. By far the most professional and attentive piercing I’ve ever experienced. All the girls are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Their attention to detail is something else! The studio itself is beautiful and calming and the jewellery speaks for its self! I had two piercings done by Kate and the whole thing was amazing. I would describe it more like an experience than just going to get your piercings done. Kate took the time to discuss what you wanted, ideal placement, overall style and walked you through everything she was going to do. She also took the time to discuss a piercing I had done elsewhere years ago that I had eventually give up on as it never healed. I was worried that it might happen with these new ones and she explained what most likely went wrong last time and how to stop it happening again which totally put me at ease about the new ones. Kate was really welcoming and friendly, and I will 100% be back for more piercings. The two she did look gorgeous and that’s just with the standard jewellery.

I got my first ear piercing here. I had it done by Kate. She was absolutely lovely and was amazing at handeling my anxiety and she really made me feel welcome and comfortable. She made me laugh and I honestly hardly felt anxious, which is an accomplishment on Kate's part! I highly recommend this studio in general, everyone I've spoken to there are always super lovely, welcoming, very knowledgeable and professional. Their jewellery selection is also on another level. It is all very high quality fine jewellery and everything is so gorgeous, there is something for every taste. The way they are handling the current covid situation is also very professional and makes me feel very safe as a client. Could not recommend this studio more.

The first piercing that I have done at Bold and gold was my septum by Kate. I have since received other piercings, have seen some stunning jewellery fitted, all with different people working in the studio. Being a trans queer person, I was nervous at the idea of receiving such an intimate service without feeling comfortable and at ease with my identity and body, and anxious about feeling rejected. My fears evaporated right as I first stepped inside the studio and I started chatting with Kate, and I would go as far as to say that the space helped me love and celebrate myself more than I did before. My experiences have all been consistently fantastic, where you are given undivided attention from the moment you step in the space to leaving with your addition to your own body celebration, thanks to an appointment-only policy. This means that your piercer is able to provide a high-quality service, and you are given plenty of time to discuss your idea and choose jewellery, with professional advice. I also highly appreciate the unique point of view on body jewellery where Bold & Gold offers a beautiful curation of luxurious jewellery to wear in your fresh or healed piercings. This is how I see Bold & Gold piercing art: a relaxing space owned by beautiful people whose professionalism I trust, where body piercing has never more felt like self-care and pampering!

visited the new studio today and oh my gosh it's absolutely beautiful! the space is so calming and bright its such a nice experience just being in the building. I was booked in with sofi for two ear piercings, I wasn't sure where I wanted to start with my ear journey so let sofi advise me where she thought was good. she took her time to show me different placements , talk me through why these would work etc. she showed me what I could upgrade to if and when I wanted. The collection of jewellery the studio has is out of this world, I've never seen so many beautiful and one off peices 😍. there is a good price range to suit all budgets as well. I knew the studio offered these pieces and had worried I'd feel embarrassed if I couldn't afford as I wasn't sure what price point these were at, however sofi went through the prices and I didn't feel any pressure at all to upgrade then and there. I decided to go for just the standard jewellery for these and was able to get this in a "yellow" colour as I wear gold jewellery. I decided to go for a conch and forward helix. the actual piercing experience was actually pleasant, despite me feeling nervous before. Sofi talked through every step of what she was going to do before she proceeded. I've never experienced a pericing lying down before either, what a treat!! I've never paid much attention to how much dark and loud studio makes me anxious before but having a bright, spacious calming surrounding really made a massive difference. The quality of service at bold & gold is phenomenal, from start to finish! On sofi's insta page she states she is a "junior" peircer but her confidence and knowledge would make you think she's been doing this 100s of years. Couldn't recommend sofi & bold and gold enough! An Absolute wonderful morning ❤️ thank you thank you thank you! Cannot wait to get booked back in again!
