Great and highly recommended tattoo studio, the artists and staff are really friendly and listen to what design and style you want. Chilled and relaxing environment. Have been quiet a few times so far and have future dates booked. Both Bart and Jake are amazing artists.

Went here just over a week back now, brilliant experience. Eve and Maria were fabulous! Patient, very informative and honest about what I wanted and what was practical. Eve took her time to ensure I got something I was happy with and was super friendly. In fact all the staff were. She even did a little one on my other hand that was not originally planned. Definitely restored my faith in tattoo artistry! 10/10 will be coming back in New year for sure 👍 as you can see it has survived healing process wonderfully! I'm very happy with it

Are you in Glasgow and you are looking to get a tattoo? DIG tattoo studio its the perfect place. Every artist is amazing. Whatever style you might want, one of the artists will be able to work out some crazy custom tattoo projects. Sile Sanda did a 7 hour horror piece black and grey tattoo on my arm and I seriously couldn't possibly be happier with it!! We are also working on my leg piece - where at the moment we have one red rose tattoo in progress.. Looking forward to add some more.

Been in the chair for over 50 hours now getting tattooed by Sile Sanda. Terrific artist and never disappoints when it comes to the finished product. Dark ink gallery itself is a very clean, friendly and comfortable studio. Sile and the team are always welcoming, going that extra mile wether it's providing water, food or even the music you want to listen to. Don't hesitate to visit this place, you'll never look back. I know I haven't. 10/10.

I was on vacation in Scotland and i wanted to make a memory that would last so i chose a tattoo, and i went to DIG. I came as a walk in, and they told me to come the next morning which was great for us as we were staying in Glasgow for just one day. So i came, and Eve made an amazing job on my very first tattoo, i can't say enough how happy i am! Thank you Eve, and thanks to all the staff in DIG, you were great! Very friendy, helpfull (i didn't know the exact design i wanted, so Eve had to make an effort), and kind! Definitely coming back if I come to Scotland again!

I had two small tattoos more than 20 years ago which were painful to get done, i couldn't believe the difference when i went to Dark Ink for a new tattoo! A pleasurable experience from start to finish. The email contact before my appointment was friendly and informative and put me at ease even before i got there. The set up at Dark Ink is exceptionally professional, friendly and relaxing. I met Rachel at reception and she was an absolute gem, a very talented tattoo artist, she took time and designed my tattoo with me and it is absolutely perfect! So very pleased and delighted with it and how gentle she is with the tattoo gun, nowhere near the discomfort i remember from my old tattoos. Thank you so much everyone at Dark Ink xx

I can’t recommend them enough ! I had a walk in tattoo session with Stefan today. It was traditional style tattoo on my triceps. The results are amazing. I absolutely love my new tattoo. Stefan and Maria are both very friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and welcome. In general Dark Ink Gallery is a great studio. All stuff very friendly. The studio looks lovely inside and is VERY clean. I hope to be back soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience!

I have been planning a sleeve and a half for around 5 years now, of my musical journey through life the last 40 years, including my own successes, and also a couple of portraits and tribute tattoos. I looked at every artist in Scotland and then choose Sile, who I went to meet in April this year. After a chat and booking in some dates, I have just completed 8 full days of a number of intricate pieces to complete my sleeve and a half, and the tattoos themselves are amazing. Everything I hoped they would be, and a lot more. The studio is fantastic, Sile, Stefan and Nate are a great group of artists with spectacular skills, and Maria welcomes you warmly as soon as you arrive. They're a brilliant, fun and professional team. If you're in Scotland, actually if you're in the UK, don't go anywhere else if Sile's style is what you are after. I had the best experience ever! :-)

I was at Dark Ink yesterday - having an update and new tattoo by Stefan. I am so utterly delighted!! I had a poor experience previously, but Stefan was able to make my existing tattoo a bit better and his work on my new one is exceptional. I can't wait to get back for more. The whole experience was calm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - I read a book for 3 hours while Stefan was working on my back! GREAT!

The receptionist was very helpful and gave me insights on what I was looking for as well before closing the deal. I've had a lot of work done by Sile, and every piece is an absolute piece of art. He did my first tattoo years ago, and I hope he continues to do more! Check out his portfolio of work on Facebook and Instagram - you will be amazed. Nothing is ever a problem, and I'd trust him to tattoo me without even seeing the design. As well as that, you couldn't meet a nicer gentleman. The studio is amazing, as well. Totally professional and clean. Cannot recommend Sile and his studio enough.

Got tattooed with sile for the first time and had a great experience. Love my seagull tattoo its like having an artwork masterpiece on my body. Loved the attention and care received before during and after getting it done! Went in for an all dayer and had a good laugh, was fed cakes as painkiller to keep the sugars up and the experience wad relstively pain free compared to other tattoo places I have been tattoedat. Staff was friendly and helpful and will definitely be back for more.

Brilliant experience, the tattoo looks great and is getting even better day by day as it settles. Sile took his time to make sure we had a design that would work, looked good and encapsulated my idea fully. Most impressive though was that Sile was feeling very poorly and getting worse throughout the day and even though he was feeling dreadful he stayed on an extra half hour to make sure he finished the tattoo that day.

Great experience and awesome finished tattoo. The guys were all really friendly and gave really good advice for after care plus even offered to rewrap the tat the next day with a special wrap that will last up to 5 days. Couldn't give more praise

After my last tattoo here @Dark Ink Gallery i had to write this review to share my experience with everyone who loves tattoos. I have found here not just great artists but some great friends aswell. Although i live in Manchester i traveled to Glasgow more then once to get tattoed here by one of my favourite artists Sile Sanda. I have some realistic black and grey tattoos done by him and i'm proud of every inch of tattoed skin ✌🏻️ As i said you will find here some great friends with amazing skills from which you will have outstanding memories. 🏆 Cheers guys ✌🏻️

Got my first tattoo here in a spur of the moment decision, didn’t really explain what i wanted the best but Rachel was so lovely and made sure it was exactly how i liked it. Made me feel so comfortable and the tattoo is so so much better than i could’ve ever imagined, can’t thank her enough it looks sick!

First you have a consultation with the artist, you feel vibe is good etc. On the day of the tattoo you walk 11am and everyone is positive, laughing and atmosphere is amazing. There were 4 tables booked at the time when I was getting my tattoo, and point is all artists are talking to each other, customers that are getting tattooed as well and point is that you dont feel like getting a tattoo. Other artists come to your table during breaks, speak with the artist, give comments, speak with you, ask you questions (how do you feel, what do you think, will you do any more...) You take breaks, review the work done so far and you reach point where you cant stop smiling because you think to yourself "right this looks incredible". Next thing you know, few hours later , you have this amazing work of art on your body and couldnt be more thankful to the artist. I had this big black and grey work of art done on my arm and I will surely come back again because of the experience I had with Dark Ink Gallery. Oh yeah and they ask you politely if you could leave honest opinion and review on google so people could refer to it ( I have honestly never done a review in my life and I was like lets give it a shot), and there you go troops, my story. Thank you Daniel, my frate.

Visiting from the UAE, I was only at Glasgow for 3 days. I walked in with no expectations of finding a slot but they took the time to alter my tattoo (make it simpler) just to squeeze me in and get it done before my flight. Professional, healed very fast and the details are stunning. Thank you Eve for the professional service! 😃

Dragos at DIG done great job. He is a great tattooist and very friendly. He puts you at ease and makes sure you are completely comfortable all the way through. Staff offer you coffee water and cakes and nothing is too much trouble. Hope to be back soon.

Sile Sanda is an amazing tattoo artist. I found him a few years ago via Facebook. I was amazed by his work. It was and still is one of the finest dark realistic artwork I have ever seen. He has done all my tattoos ever since. He has a great eye for detail. His intuition for the placement of the tattoo is fascinating. Sile tells you if your idea is gonna work on that body part or not. Having always wanted to start a sleeve and collecting tattoo's my decision was confirmed when I seen what Sile could do on Instagram. After a short consultation with him and my ideas we started on my left arm back in 2013, fast forward to the present day both sleeves are done and a small back piece which was a spontaneous addition one afternoon. Plans for the near future, I hope to continue the collection and have my chest encorporated by him and probabaly after that something else too LOL I can't recommend him enough I should note that every idea of the second sleeve came from him after I said I wanted the images to be more dark in content and almost have a shock factor, I was never disappointed. A highlight was one day during a full session a guy came in to ask about getting a religious sleeve similar to mine unknowing to him, I was in the chair at that point. Anyone looking for a black and grey realism should speak with Sile, having full trust in his visions and ideas has left me with truly unique tattoo's that I will forever be proud of. See you again soon my friend!

I had my late parents portraits done by Sile, on my thigh. I cried when I saw the finished result, infact I still cry from time to time when I look down, He captured them in every detail, so lifelike, incredible how realistic they look, I see the faces of the beautiful people that gave me life, he didn’t just give me a tattoo I can cherish he helped me heal and gave me a gift with his art and I am forever grateful for making my memorial tattoo everything I wanted and more, not only is Sile skilled, He is also one of the most humble human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting.
