I have visited Forest twice now. One for a jewellery change in 2019 and most recently for a nostril piercing. The reception area is clean and airy. Jordan was very welcoming when I arrived. They booked me in, went through aftercare very thoroughly, covering questions I wouldn’t have thought of asking! They showed me the varied jewellery selection and were patient as I chose the end I wanted. Lola then took me through for my piercing. Her studio is immaculate. She explained everything step by step and asked for consent each time she has to touch my face or put the protective cover over it. Piercing was quick and as painless as a piercing can be! I was advised several times if I had any issues to contact the studio and they will be happy to help. I’ll be returning for further piercings. Thank you!

I have been to Forest Piercing twice now, once for a septum piercing and the other for jewellery purchase and fitting and each time both Lola and Jordan have been welcoming and helpful. The studio is lovely and has a very clean and calming atmosphere to it. Lola was very informative in explaining to me about the septum piercing and what jewellery would suit me best. They ensured to explain the healing process and what can have affects on the piercing and were very good at good at going through the process step by step. Although the piercing process was quick there never felt like there was any rush and care was taken into each step. They are very good at making what can sometimes be a nerve wracking process much more comfortable. Jordan helped me to choose new jewellery and was helpful in showing what jewellery would suit my existing piercings and was able to answer any questions i had about certain pieces of jewellery. They have an amazing range of good quality pieces, it’s almost too difficult to choose as they are all so beautiful! Lola and Jordan really take care and put effort into their work and it pays off, the best piercing experience I have ever had. Excited to go back for my next piercing!!

I had my nose pierced at Forest about a month ago and I’m so glad I did. Lola and Jordan are so welcoming and friendly they put you immediately at ease. They take time to go through all the information you need, answering any questions and going into great detail about the aftercare which I really appreciated. The jewellery selection is beautiful and Lola makes the piercing process quick and (almost) painless. The online booking system is quick and easy to use. My piercing is healing beautifully and I’ll be back soon for a jewellery downsize.

I’ve been to Forest a few times now for both piercing and jewellery changes. The studio is so nice and welcoming and there is a beautiful selection of jewellery to choose from. Jordan is brilliant at talking through the different pieces of jewellery and the aftercare etc and Lola is a fantastic and knowledgeable piercer who I trust to always do an excellent job. Plus there are pictures of cute cats on the ceiling to distract you whilst you are being pierced which I find incredibly calming 😂💕

After having 2 horrendously failed nipple piercings by other studios I went to Lola to have it done a 3rd time and the difference in quality between a cheap piercing and a high end piercing definitely shows here! The studio itself is a lovely and welcoming environment, lots of privacy and no crowded waiting rooms. Lola was super professional and took the time to make sure the piercing site was suitable and talked me through the process, for such a nippy piercing I was very comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I had my nose pierced by Lola, I was nervous as my septum is slightly deviated but she took so much time and care to ensure I had the best outcome possible. The piercing looks super balanced and I’m so happy. Loads of jewellery options, and lots of care taken to explain the healing process, she was walked through everything she was doing as I was being pierced, and the piercing itself was pretty tolerable for something I was dreading a bit, which is a big testament to her skill:) would recommend to anyone, especially if you want a chill n stress free experience!

Couldn’t recommend Forest highly enough. Lola is the definition of professional but also caring , make sure you’re comfortable and takes you through everything and is great at what she does. I’ve had a few piercings performed by her and they all have healed great and i love them. I’ve also ordered jewellery from Lola and had it custom anodised and posted to me and all was done quickly. Jordan who works at reception is great at taking you through aftercare and jewellery selections and just welcoming you. The studio itself its very welcoming with all the lovely plants, the cleanliness and the amazing selection of stunning jewellery to browse. Some people may say Forest is too expensive but you really are paying for quality, amazing service and supporting a great local business🖤

I had an industrial done here recently, fantastic experience. Both the receptionist/greeter Jordan and the piercer, Lola, were lovely, professional and welcoming. Forest ensures you are as educated as possible on both the process and aftercare of your piercing, explaining clearly and in detail everything you should know. During the piercing itself at no point did I feel unsafe or confused, Lola told me everything that would happen in advance which is exactly what you need if you're nervous about pain. When looking at the prices of Forest's services you may be a little unsure as they are higher than what is considered the norm. I felt this too at first, but after the experience I am fully confident that every penny was well spent on responsible, understanding and exceptional business.

Always a lovely experience at Lolas studio. As a chronically ill person unable to wear a mask, I feel safer knowing that Lola does take the precaution to, and that the studio is appointment only so there is never a bunch of people hanging around inside. It's always nice and peaceful, Lola takes the time to explain the aftercare clearly and calmly to you, and you get a detailed leaflet to take home with you should you forget anything in the moment. There is always a gorgeous selection of jewellery in the cabinet, but should you wish for something more specific you can order in via the website by certain wholesalers, details on who and the minimum order required (if any) is clear aswell. During the piercing process, Lola is very careful to explain when she is about to touch you, and what she is doing. When it comes to the piercings, they are always incredibly quick! I travel from quite far away to this studio, precisely because of the excellent service provided by Lola, and would recommend her to anyone wanting to get themselves a piercing! (Or for someone else, as you can also buy gift cards!)

I got my conch pierced back in June, it is healing perfectly. Lola was very calm and professional, she was patient (i took forever to chose the jewelry) and helped my chose the perfect jewelry. The piercing itself was was so smooth and quick.

Was pierced a while back now. Admittedly she did an amazing job of piercing me; good quality of jewelry, strict about hygienic practices, and I believe a very skilled piercer as I hardly felt a thing when she pierced me. She ensured that I was happy with the placement of the piercing by actually drawing out the shape so I could see what it would look like. All in all, a very positive piercing experience. It was a cartilage piercing, so she informed me about the long healing period and potential complications. Everything was fine for the first month and a half, I even downsized the jewelry because it was doing well. However, I accidentally bumped it a week or so after downsizing. I woke up the next day and could feel my piercing throbbing and it was very red. As it was on a Friday I reached out to Lola as I was concerned it might get worse. She she advised me to leave it. Over the weekend it started swelling, on the Monday it had started to embed. The piercing studio was closed on the Monday, I am not sure why. I tried emailing, no one replied. I managed to get an appointment at Nirvana and they swapped out the jewelry for me with a longer bar since he didn't have threadless jewelry. After having swapped the jewelry out for a longer bar, my doctor prescribed me with antibiotics since it was infected. It was a horrible and stressful experience. Cartilage infections are no joke. Luckily the antibiotics helped and a week later I felt better. It is irrelevant, but that experience made me decide to remove my jewelry because I don't want to deal with that stress again. Lola did email me back once the studio opened, but clearly I had already had it attended to. This experience is obviously not Lola's fault, these things happen. But I am disappointed, due to her experience, that she did not take it more seriously and offer to switch to a longer bar on the Friday. I spent £300 on this piercing, I would have liked a more keen interest in my well-being.

I had my first experience of being pieced by Lola of Forest Piercing in March 2022. I felt so welcome and safe and knew I was in good hands when I was explained the process of what was happening and the reasoning behind it. I had an incredible experience and left with three beautiful piercings (two lobes and one nostril) that healed with no issues. I went back today to have my lobes and nostril downsized, the jewellery in my lobes replaced with a new design, AND had my conch pierced. Again, I was welcomed in such a friendly manner. The person at reception was so lovely and walked me through options for my new piercing as well as for what I already had. There was no rush, and I was constantly checked-in with in regards to consent for touching, how I was feeling, and if I had any questions. The actual piercing process is so quick and meticulous, and the standards of safety and hygiene are very high. I left today with the perfect set of jewellery. I can't wait to come back for my next piercings and will continue to recommend them to everyone 😊 If you are anxious, or looking to go to a place that is inclusive, safe, clean, and where the staff are extremely knowledgeable and informative, then look no further than Forest Piercing. 😊

Highly recommend Forest Piercing and Lola. I have been for both Jewellery change and a piercing. There is a great selection of jewellery available and can be anodised in the studio. When it comes to getting a piercing Lola is brilliant. She talks you through what she is doing, puts you at ease and provides you with very clear after care. I wouldn't go to anyone else now that I have been here.

I found Lola on Instagram and decided to book in to get a couple more ear piercings. The studio is immaculate and Lola was so knowledgeable. There was a lot of beautiful jewellery to choose from and Lola was amazing at helping me pick pieces that would compliment each other and work with my anatomy. Had a brilliant experience at Forest, being pierced by Lola. The studio is beautiful, and spotless. It's such a relaxing atmosphere, if you're a little nervous! Lola is also amazing. I never felt rushed into making a decision on jewellery, and ended up choosing some pieces that I loved from the collection available. There was also a selection of unusual cuts and stones available at the time, which is pretty cool. Forest is quite simply, incredible. Everything has been thought about to make you feel as comfortable and as safe as possible. Lola's attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched; I've had well over 10 piercings with several excellent piercers and Lola is unlike any other - she's phenomenal, setting the standards that others should emulate. From the atmosphere of the shop that feels open and welcoming, to the selection of jewellery. I loved the discussion that took place; Lola explaining her thought process so you as the client understand better. It feels more like a collaboration than a 'transaction' - she genuinely cares about your experience and this comes through in everything. She is so meticulous in so many different ways - marking the approximate size of the jewellery rather than the standard purple dot, so you can actually envision how it would look, talking aftercare before the piercing so you're not distracted, the way she talks you through the process each time during the piercing. I was actually rather nervous, it was my first piercing in a while, and my first one in a long time with no one with me; Lola immediately made me feel totally at ease and very safe. She really is exceptional; I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've visited Lola a handful of times now since Forest Piercing opened and each time has been delightful. The studio is a calm, welcoming space and each area is pristine. Lola listens to my questions and explains all information so patiently. While you can splash out on some luxury solid gold pieces, there are also plenty of budget friendly options. The actual piercing experience/jewellery installation is super quick and smooth. Lola talks you through each step which helps to ease any anxiety. Had my Daith pierced by Lola last week and out of all 6 of my piercings this had been the best experience. From the moment you enter the studio it’s a lovely calming atmosphere, Lola makes you feel so comfortable and all nerves and stress just melt away. Her and Nera were so helpful about aftercare. I will 100% be coming back. I would definitely recommend Forest even if it’s your first piercing and you’re feeling a bit nervous. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else to be stabbed <3 x

I love my new jewellery. Everything I had before is going in the bin - all of it. I have seen the light and it is this exquisite, high quality, beautiful, versatile and comfortable jewellery that Lola sells. For your facial piercings you get a piece that goes in the back that pretty much stays there permanently. Then you get some lush trinket from Lola's store that fits in the front. You can swap around the bits that fit in the front to suit the occasion or just because you want something different. The practical benefits of this are many. If you have a nose stud then there isn't some silly bit of metal hanging on for dear life inside your nose, it is a flush finish. Same with earrings, it all looks neat round the back. I don't think I have had such comfy jewellery before, it just feels better in a way you have just got to try. Lola definitely undersells the wonders of her jewellery, I did not expect her to fit my new pieces too. There is also just a selection of excellent pieces in the shop rather than mountains of the stuff. But the selection she has is much better than found in normal jewellery stores, normal piercing shops and online. It is a well chosen selection and there will be something there for you. I bought a few pieces for when I want to have fancy jewellery and more everyday occasions. Delighted with all of it. The back bits just stay in and it is the front bits that I can change over. I love the system and how it works. There is no danger of anything falling out or getting bent, it all just fits so comfortably. Now there is the small matter of price. You can start with reasonably priced titanium pieces but I bought some of them and also some of the expensive pieces. Yep, I spent something like £120 for a miniature bit of white gold to go in my ear. And that £120 didn't even include the post that it slots into. Being vegetarian this totally unnecessary piece of white gold is a vegetarian 'v' sign. It fits the shape of my ear perfectly, it shines in a way that cheap jewellery doesn't, it won't tarnish and it is totally 'me'. Having a 'v' for vegetarian symbol in your ear might not be you but in Lola's small collection there will definitely be something that is 'you'. We are all different as are the pieces Lola has. Do I have buyers remorse? Never bought actual gold before, but pleased that I did. Where will I be buying my next bits of jewellery? Yep, Lola's store. I have upgraded and I am very happy to have done so. I almost certainly will be going back to get yet-more-piercings rather than just an upgrade to what I already have. Yet, for a first visit, taking the upgrade route to the 'system' Lola's jewellery used is highly recommended. Might be expensive but her jewellery is a bargain compared to the drawer full of tat that accumulates before seeing the light.

You can definitely see there's also lots of care to follow not just covid related cleaning procedures, but also prepping for the piercing - felt very safe throughout. I don't often feel compelled to write reviews, but my experience at Forest was something I feel worth writing up. At no point did I feel rushed into making a decision: I felt like I could have an open and honest discussion about the piercing, its placement, the jewellery being used, and so on. The questions I asked Lola were answered fully, thoughtfully, and in detail. I was at first sceptical of the price, the quality of the experience I had made it feel underpriced in many respects.
