This is the first time I’ve used Mark and I can 100% recommend him as a tattoo artist. His studio is clean and tidy. He takes the time to explain everything to you, from the cleaners right down to the ink he uses. He doesn’t take the needles out of their packaging until you are in the room with him. Mark is an extremely talented tattoo artist. I visited with a very specific request for a previously hand drawn written tattoo done by my partner to be copied for my sons name. Mark managed to match the style of the text in the original tattoo perfectly and better than I could have imagined anyone doing. It had been several years since my last tattoo so mark went through and explained the whole process from start to finish and even explained every product being used and how the studio is kept sterile. Much nicer experience being in a home tattoo studio than tattoo shops as I have previously been to without other people being tattooed at the same time around you. First time I've visited Mark for a tattoo. He came highly recommended by my son and his friends. The studio is private, extremely clean and very calming. My design was chosen adapted to my requests, all procedures explained and attention to hygiene meticulous. The actual tattoo was relatively pain free. Mark checked regularly that I was comfortable and I felt that my welfare throughout was top priority. To add, the price you pay for the detail and genuine care you recieve, is absolutely well worth it and adds to the whole relaxing, welcoming experience. It was lovely of his wife to make me a cuppa, again making it a very relaxed, stress free experience. I love my tattoo. I'd highly recommend and would rebook knowing I was in safe hands anytime.

I visited Mark through a recommendation by a work colleague. The studio was very hygienic and as it is a home studio it had a more comfortable atmosphere. It had been several years since my last tattoo so he explained the process and products being used which was both interesting and useful to have a greater understanding of the session. The tattoo he designed was perfect and incorporated all the elements I requested. Although we didn’t get to finish in one session, the more I look at the tattoo the more I love it. Wow what a guy! Mark’s work is incredible! I went in for a tattoo feeling nervous and Mark soon put me at ease explaining the process and what he was doing. I have never felt as comfortable as I did today getting a tattoo done. My wife and I went to Madeira a few weeks ago and got a couple of average star sign tattoos. We went to Mark this evening for a fine line tattoo separate from the star sign ones. Mark did a cracking Job with the fine line tattoo and also re lined our star sign tattoos. Mark is brilliant. As others have said, his attention to detail and personal pride in doing the best for his customers is second to none. This was my first tattoo and Mark was so reassuring. He patiently talked me through the process, the equipment he used etc... and I was so impressed that I had him within 3 days complete 4 tattoos for me. From zero to 4 in 3 days and he was fantastic. One of the tattoos was incredibly detailed and difficult to do, yet Mark rose to the challenge. He spent a lot of time hand drawing and getting the template perfect before he would do the work and we both had a long session in his studio completing it. Mark is superb. A genuinely nice bloke and I really cannot thank him enough for the superb work he has done. Ignore the high street shops, go to Mark, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

After a consultation and discussing cover-up options with Mark he came up with a great idea to cover-up some dodgy text while still keeping the theme of the remainder of the Tattoo. Following the still birth of our child I contacted Mark with copies of the hand and feet ink prints I wanted tattooed. From the start, Mark was so accommodating, friendly and interested in my story. I went for a consultation were we discussed designs, placement and costs. The following week, I returned for the tattoo. I wanted the ink sets copied exactly in to a tattoo rather than having hands and feet from a catalogue. Mark copied them perfectly and there is no difference between the prints and the tattoo. Before the tattooing started, Mark spent a great deal of time showing me the tools he would be using and how he cleaned the studio prior to my arrival - the studio was spotless. This was by far a more informative and nicer experience than I had with my 1st tattoo a few years back at a different establishment.
