I've been to Silver Lining to get piercings done 3 times now. It's best to book ahead of time but they can do walk-ins when they're not too busy. The shop is very clean and well maintained. All three times I've been the professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff have made me feel comfortable and welcome. They marked the area to make sure I'm happy with the piercing placement, and talked me through what they're doing each step of the way and then followed up with advice on how to properly clean my piercings while they heal. All in all a fantastic little shop and a good experience every time I've been. Wholly recommended.

I booked me, my brother, and my mum here for piercings. it was my brother’s first time ever getting a piercing. the two people at the desk were super friendly and easy to talk to, our piercer was called Carlene and they were super nice! they had a lot of knowledge, and even checked and gave advice on a piercing I already had as it was going funny. they lined up my brother’s piercings perfectly, as with my mum’s as she was getting the other side to her nose pierced. my piercing was done perfectly also. the room was really clean, and we were all allowed to go in together. I do not know the other person at the desk’s name, but they had yellow curly hair from what I remember, and they were also very friendly! I would definitely recommend, and the prices are really good as well as the service. I would absolutely go back here for another piercing. (:

I spontaneously decided to get my second lobes done after work. I had not booked an appointment, but they managed to squeeze me in. Was not waiting for long before I came in and complete a form. I was pierced by Carlene - the most amazing piercer, she recommended an earring (gold because she noticed that was my preference lol), and then took me into the private room. It was VERY clean. We had a lovely conversation, and she explained how she will be piercing my ears to make them even. It was very quick, in a professional way. She provided amazing after care information. I even spoke to her about future piercings and told her which ears I wanted them on etc - she was very lovely and honest about where she thinks I should have them placed based on my current piercings/ear structure. She even advised me on the earrings she thinks I should have for my next piercings! An overall lovely experience, good value for money and would feel very comfortable to go there again (hopefully soon). Would love for Carlene to pierce me again, she’s a real credit to the Leeds sore.

Went in to silver linings in Leeds after being recommended by a friend and having a horrific experience with Claire’s. Bianca and the lovely lady who pierced me ( so sorry don’t remember her name but I visited 05/06/22) was amazing at putting me at ease and giving me the best advice on after care. She even advised I could come back after the initial healing period to have them come and change it as she knew this wasn’t something I felt comfortable doing. Definitely returning for future piercings!

I got pierced here back in September and the staff are lovely! They ask you what you think about the markings before the piercings, allow you to make changes and ask when you’re ready. I had my nipples pierced so I was very light headed and felt like I was going to pass out (from the pain 😅😅) the piercer allowed me to lay down until I felt ready to move, made sure I was okay. Lovely people, they let me chose who I’d prefer to do my piercings :) planning on coming again very soon for more I 100% recommend

I booked an appointment online to have my nipple pierced, I was very nervous as I had only had Ear pierced over 15 years ago. I got a helix piercing on both of my ears by Carly at Silver Lining Piercing Leeds and honestly I couldn't recommend a better place. Carly was so nice, careful and gave in depth instructions on the aftercare. She also made sure that they were both equal (i.e. that one wasn't positioned higher than the other and allowed me to have a look in the mirror to make sure I was happy with the positioning as well). I was recommended this place by some friends and I can confidently say that I was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming here again!

Very reassuring piercer, my daughter was quite nervous about getting her ear lobes pierced, but we need not have worried - all done very quickly, and with very little pain. Within a couple of hours she couldn't tell she'd had them done. Excellent after care advise and did not try to sell us any 'extras' like piercing cleaning solutions. All done with a needle so less painful and much better than the gun used in high street chain shops. I also had my helix pierced, again, all done very quickly and surprisingly painless! Everything was very clean and the piercer was very careful to wash his hands, use gloves and all equipment was sealed. Very much recommended!

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Had my nose done here and it was so quick and painless and they put me at complete ease from the minute I walked though the door. I had some issues with the stud so went back the next day and they sorted it out and replaced with a flat disc free of charge, again making me so comfortable even though it was pretty sore! Then a few weeks later the piercing came out after I caught it so I went back a third time and again they were brilliant. I'd never go elsewhere for a piercing now.

I've also had problems with my ear piercings due to metal allergies but the lovely lady who served us, assured me that I could wear titanium without problems (she has the same allergies). I had both my nipples and my septum done here, both by Sarah. When I got my septum, I went with a friend who was getting her nostril, Sarah was incredibly patient with us and calm as my friend was quite nervous. She pierced my septum perfectly and I was super happy with it. Today I called back to get my nipples done and Sarah was my piercer again. Had to wait a few minutes but there are chairs provided so it wasn't like I was stood around. Again she was friendly and really made the whole experience less nerve racking because I was absolutely terrified, she even gave me a sweet at the end saying I deserved it. Definitely recommend Silver Lining, relatively cheap, super hygienic, friendly staff and a really calming atmosphere. Will defo be going again for my other piercings - need to fill up my loyalty card!!

Me and my sister came in May to have our conch’s pierced. Sarah (I think, sorry if the wrong person) was fabulous! Down to earth and offered a wide range of bars to have. I would EXTREMELY recommend getting the saline spray they offer for £5. I had NO trouble with soreness from using it. In fact I feel it helped the healing process 10-fold!

Got my 2nds and 3rds ear piercings here a few months ago. Price of the piercings was good. Staff at the desk were welcoming, but unfortunately my piercer wasn't very friendly. A few weeks after I got a bump and went to the shop again, the staff I spoke to was friendly and offered to look at the piercing to check it was okay and offered recommendations to help. After another few weeks the bump didn't go so I went back. This time the staff was the same woman who pierced my ears, she didn't offer to check my ears like the other woman did and just told me to change the piercing. The bump had actually come from another complication that I discovered later, if she would've offered to look at it then she would've seen it was a bit more serious than just changing the piercing. Not her fault, it just wasn't very helpful.

I took my 7 year old daughter for her lobes piercing on Sat 16th Dec. She had her ears done by a lovely lad called Jordan, he was absolutely fantastic with my little girl, he explained everything in fine detail to myself and her and continued to do so throughout the proceedure even down to explaining how cold her ear would feel and why. I've been into this shop multiple times for piercings, each time I encountered a really friendly male staff member. The back area is always clean and always provides fantastic information on aftercare. Unfortunately, the only time I've gone in to buy some jewellery I was met with quite an unhelpful female staff member. I went in for my helix, I asked about rings and was informed they had some but wasn't actually shown any, there's a selection of 'rings' at the desk but I don't know if they're for septums, something else, or general use. After hanging around a bit awkwardly talking to my partner about how I didn't know the size I'd even need she did mentioned she could inform me of the size with a quick look. Happily, I showed my ear, was told the information I needed and then she sat down at the desk again. I'm quite a shy person so I understand when not all shopping trips are met with 100% satisfaction socially but during my time in the store I witnessed a few people come in, mention jewellery and not have a very progressive conversation. I left the shop to go buy online elsewhere.

Upon entering the woman whos name I didnt catch but sat on reception was quite rude and cold! We didnt recieve any welcoming or general chit chat we literally got ignored until the piercer was ready for us. The first red flag that was due to the fact that they cleaned and sterilised everything before allowing us into the piercing studio, which is odd..normally a procedure like that is done in front of you (which it should be) so you can be assured everything was done properly and not just take someones word for it! The second point is they dont allow photography or videos, which raises another red flag for me. I dont see the problem if the camera person doesnt get in the way, I feel like places that dont allow filming are trying to cover their backs if something goes wrong or hide their practice..which is a bit concerning when youre sat about to get pierced! We both wasnt spoke or given the option on the type of jewellery that was inserted. It was also after getting the piercing I found out she was a trainee as I overheard staff speaking about it! Although this wasnt a deal breaker and we wouldve gone ahead with the piercing anyway, I feel like that should have been disclosed at the start. The actual piercer, not sure of her name but she had dark black hair , was the nicest piercer weve had. She was nice and chatty which worked at putting us at ease and talked us through everything. Shes an asset to the company. The pricing is good and competitive especially with their offers.

Came here today (the 18th october 2020) to get my first ever piercing done, turned up early and was greeted by a lovely woman called Mia, she took me inside and had me disinfect my hands due to cornavirus (the whole place was very clean and clearly corna-aware and so was very safe, Mia was very accommodating and being my first she talked me though the procedure and was really helpful, had it done within 5 minutes and it hardly even hurt, overall very professional, lovely staff, clean and safe and great pricing and deals on the jewelry and the piercing itself (only £22 for a nostril and a stud) very happy with the service.
