I had my first tattoo today with Jack Wood and he was awesome. Jack was really patient whilst we finalised placement and size and I couldn't be happier with the result. You can tell he really cares about getting everything perfect and the level of detail in his art is amazing. He also gave detailed and helpful aftercare instructions, so I left feeling comfortable. The whole vibe of the studio is really friendly and relaxed and everywhere was clean. Jack is great company, really puts you at ease and is amazing at what he does. Would definitely come back!

Knew I wanted to be tattooed my Matt for years and when I finally decided what I wanted I booked in. He made the stencil exactly how I wanted it and the whole process was better than I could’ve imagined. All the staff were amazing, really welcoming and supportive, Matt was nice and chilled and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I had such a brilliant experience getting my two tattoos done by Nic in July. As an artist he is unbelievably talented and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. On top of this, the studio is beautiful, very clean and the entire team were amazing - I was there for a good few hours and everyone was really friendly. Me and my boyfriend went for tattoos earlier this month, and from the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and at ease. Only 2 mins from London Bridge Station, the studio is clean and has a great vibe about it... but what truly sets this studio apart from others is how friendly and approachable everyone is. We were tattooed by Matt and we're both chuffed with how they turned out. Kitty was ace when it came to the booking process - super friendly and always quick to respond. We had to reschedule twice due to COVID but in all honesty, the whole experience made it 100% worth the wait. We're already planning our next ones and can't wait to return! Amazing tattoo shop! I have quite a few tattoos from various different tattoo places but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Jack was super helpful in getting me booked in straight away and when I got there Jack and the other tattoo artists we so nice and welcoming and actually had a nice conversation with you. Olha was the one who tattooed 3 pieces for me. She was so gentle that it did not hurt whatsoever which was a new experience for me. Her lines are so clean and straight and the way she wrapped the tattoos after was great. Olha also already had my designs drawn up before hand and it was exactly what I wanted. Would absolutely recommend this place.

I was at the Origin for a spontaneous small tattoo. It only took time of 1,5 hours. 👍🏼 The people were friendly and the studio ist nice. The price of my 10 centimetres tattoo was very high in my opinion (just for tourists or because of London? I don’t know 🙈 200£ [is it expensive?]) but I love it. The quality is so nice and it will be a lovely souvenir from that trip. 🤗

I had a tattoo here recently from Jack Wood who is a great artist. I've had a few tattoos in the past, but he made sure I was comfortable throughout, so would be a great option for someone's first tattoo. The design was better than I imagined it and he was flexible with sizing, positioning etc and used his expertise to make sure it was in the perfect spot. The shop itself is super clean and the environment was relaxed and fun. I'd 100% recommend Jack and Origin for anyone looking to get inked!

I had a design done by Olha today who was unfortunately taken to a&e just as we started! Thankfully Jack Wood had a gap and was able to take over. I couldn’t be happier with the finished result! I think I actually gasped when I saw it. His shading work completely made the piece pop. The whole team was amazing at dealing with the situation and made me feel at home. I've had two tattoos at Origin Tattoo now, first by Clara and this afternoon by Naomi. The premises themselves are clean and professional, while the staff are friendly and extremly welcoming. There's a nice sense of community here, and it feels like you're part of something. Nice chilled spot, and good to hear friendly banter going on. As for both my artists, I can't recommend either more highly. I've had great comments on my tattoos from Origin, to the point where at least one person went and booked in for their own because they liked the work so much! :)

So I’ve always known I wanted a tattoo, kinda knew what I wanted, but as it was my first tattoo I was quite reluctant on who, and where I would get it. I came across Origin’s Tattoo page on Instagram, and immediately knew they would be a great match! I have always had a passion for dragon tattoos, and a few weeks away from my birthday I thought this would be the ideal time to finally get it done. I made my enquiry through email, and was booked in for a consultation with Joe. The consultation went really well, Joe was very friendly, professional and understanding of what I had in mind. I came with some what of an idea, but still quite unsure on what would suit me, and I can now say that he fully exceeded my expectations! I absolutely LOVE my tattoo. Being my first tattoo, I was quite nervous about the pain, and I can honestly say surprisingly enough, it didn’t hurt at all! Maybe it had something to do my pain tolerance in general, or most likely Joe’s conversational skills and ability to keep me distracted from it! Overall amazing experience, starting from the ‘handsome lad’ at reception, to Joe’s amazing work and professionalism. Strongly recommend Origin Tattoo London!

Over the moon with the quality of my tattoo! I’ve waited a couple of days to post this review just to see how the tattoo healed and honestly it is incredible. The tattoo itself was done to perfection, very detailed, thin, straight and consistent lines, fantastic shading and the healing process was easily the best ever with great advice as soon as the artist finished. The studio is very stylish, clean and welcoming. The people represent this to the T and are very caring and understanding. The artist I went with was Jonny and well worth the wait! The only thing I would say is that they need to inform you before you arrive that it is cash only. It’s not an issue because there is a cash machine close by but a heads up would be amazing! Also, they need to make a public playlist of the music as it’s amazing with such variety 😉

I went in to Origin Tattoo today for my first ever tattoo. The studio is very clean and you can tell all Covid-19 safety measures are implemented - for anyone who's worried about that. And it's also a beautiful space from aesthetics point of view. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and for someone like me who's always incredibly akward in new place, I really appreciated it. My tattoo artist was Olha Steblii and I would highly recommend choosing her. Though all artists in the studio have a huge talent, I will definitely choose her again. Also you will receive more precise information how to care for your new tattoo from the artist after all is done. I got tattooed by Chris (Bintt) this week and I was really pleased with the service. Not only is he an excellent artist but he's a true professional and a really chill guy too. Getting my tattoo done by him at Origin tattoo was one of the best tattoo experiences, I've had so far, and I've been collecting from quite a few different places at this stage. He was punctual and we were able to have some discussion together before getting started with the tattoo. In the past, at other studios, I've waited 2 hours or more for the tattoo artist to even arrive let alone actually begin tattooing. He was very compassionate and, knowing that I was feeling a little nervous about the placement of the tattoo, he did his best to be understanding, soothe my concerns, and was considerate whilst tattooing. Origin tattoo itself was super clean, they took all the necessary precautions for the Covid situation, and the other artists seemed to all be very cool. This created for a nice environment for anyone to get tattooed in. I would highly recommend Origin Tattoo to anyone reading this. I've even gone ahead and booked in for another session.

Where do I start! Origin Tattoo London is the real deal. From when you arrive to the studio to when you leave you feel like you are being listened to. The space itself is quality, it doesn't feel like a dingy tattoo parlour of the past- it's clean, modern and bright. My artist was Matt Stops, we chatted prior to my tattoo, we both threw out some suggestions and ideas on what we were thinking, he made me feel like no idea was off the table. Booked with Chris Browning to have a cover up of my old first (and only till then) tattoo, which I’ve never really liked. After realising that we couldn’t capture all of what I wanted via email, we decided to speak on the day and go through my (admittedly numerous and quite confusing) ideas re: what I wanted. Chris patiently sat with me as we drew up my ideas, with a perfect balance between listening to me regarding the quite complex design features I wanted, while also guiding me to refine some of them when his professional experience / artistic eye allowed him to see when they wouldn’t come out as I had envisioned. He offered alternatives to some of my ideas that honestly made the whole thing better in the end. 6 hours later, I had a half sleeve and shoulder that I am truly proud of, and will continue with him to finish up. I can not recommend this artist more, especially if you are in to tribal / geometric / blackwork. Truly legendary. (He has also consistently followed up with emails within the hour where I have asked him questions re: tattoo care, etc., so the customer service after the fact is also excellent!)
