100% recommend this place! I’m in Manchester for uni and I was very anxious about coming to someplace new to get a piercing, however I had nothing to worry about! Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The studio was clean and modern. There was also plenty of choice on jewellery for my piercing. Valerie did my helix piercing efficiently and pretty much painlessly. She gave me options for the placement of my piercing which was great. She was so kind and lovely aswell. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Got two cartilage piercings here a few weeks ago with Valerie. She was amazing, gentle, calm, and welcoming. Ended up going back to get them checked after a week, as I was worried, but she encouraged me to come back and was very reassuring and happy with healing. I came here on Thursday for a Christina piercing. Naturally I was a bit nervous given that it’s an intimate piercing but I honestly cannot praise Valerie enough. She was really kind and gentle. What an outstanding service this was! I went in just out of impulse to get my Helix pierced, twice! And the staff were super friendly and kind the entire time. Filling in your details and consent form is easy and intuitive, and all the safety distance rules were still being maintained. It's clearly a popular shop as it was packed with people waiting outside by the end of day on a Tuesday. Zoe told me that that was 'quiet' for them. Ooff! Zoe was my piercing girl, and she was super kind and approachable the entire time. I asked her to get a selfie with me for my Instagram, so there we are the two of us. So far no issues with the pierced Helix, they tell you all the guidance you need to avoid infections, so don't worry if you're a rookie to piercing, because these guys will tell you everything. I'm definitely coming back here for future holes I need to make on my face, which is at least 5 more, maybe 6. Definitely recommend this studio, really high standards, inclusive to LGBTQIA and super super chill.

Came here for my first ever tattoo, and after today, it will not be the last haha. Booked in around a month in advance and even that was easy. Then it came to the day to actually get it done. The service was amazing, and my artist (Owen) was also incredible. He gave suggestions on what he thought would make the design better, and even added his own little touches which look undoubtedly awesome. We even had a nice bit of conversation while getting it down which really helped as although I was excited, I was quite nervous. All round a terrific experience and I will 100% be going back for another piece.

I had a naval piercing done here yesterday by a lady called Valerie, i explained to Valerie i had, had the same piercing years before (done at a different shop) and the piercing never sat right, when sat down the piercing always felt like it was ripping out, for this reason the piercing never healed, and the pain was horrendous. I had to take the piercing out eventually. Valerie made me feel very at ease that she would make sure when clamped the bar would sit in a comfortable position. Valerie taken her time ensuring the piercing would be perfect. Valerie has absolutely nailed it!! When sat or lay down i have no pulling/ripping feeling of the piercing at all. Valerie really knows her stuff, and gives her customers 100%. I will definitely be a returning customer. I highly recommend Studio 95, & in particular Valerie. Kind regards

I previously had my septum pierced elsewhere and it was an absolute nightmare. It hurt tremendously when it was pierced and sat too low. My previous piercer refused to say anything was wrong, so I took it out. I came here hoping to have it redone and was understandably apprehensive because of a past bad experience. Valerie took her time with me and talked me through everything. She got me to focus on my breathing and before I knew it the piercing was done and over. He had to spend some time in drawing the line for my neck piercing but I wanted it lower n he did that again which takes time but he was kind n polite, Martin gave me his contact details so I can follow up if something happens . Amazing studio, I went in today with my friend and I got my nose pierced. I’m prone to fainting and panic attacks and ended up getting really dizzy when the jewellery was put in but Valerie and the lady with pink hair (sorry I can’t remember her name!) were amazing, they sat with me and helped me breathe and reassured me I was going to be okay and it was normal. I am covered in piercings and body art from different tattoo studios across the country. I have experienced all levels of customer service and varying levels of professionalism during my many years as an increasingly filled skin-canvas. I've been to some of the best and walked out of the worst. Studio 95 is right at the top of the list of great piercing and tattoo places, not just in Manchester either. It delivers a constant level of cleanliness, friendliness and has a wealth of both affordable and stylish jewellery options for you to choose from. I was a little nervous about getting pierced due to COVID-19, but needn't have worried. Social distancing was in effect. Everybody in the studio and waiting area wore a face mask. Hand-wash was also provided. There was a relaxed atmosphere but government guidelines were still being followed. In short; I highly recommend this studio. You will not be disappointed by your visit, your piercing and/or your tattoo.

Just had my second piercing done today and the lady was sooo nice! The lady that did my piercing knew I was scared so she talked to me and supported me through the process! This shop has a fantastic range of body jewellery for all piercings at a very reasonable price! This was the reason I went in originally as i needed a new septum bar and found the member of staff behind the counter extremely helpful and was clearly very knowledgeable. She was very easy to talk to. I then saw the piercing price list and felt tempted by a few as I've been craving a new one for a while. I settled on getting my navel pierced. Although it appeared that the lady was working in the shop on her own she had the fantastic customer skills and helped each customer in turn and was very attentive. I was given a few forms to fill out for my health and safety and then it was my turn. The piercer explained each of the tools she was using and why, as well as a detailed description of the after care needed to keep my piercing clean and free from infection. She was extremely professional and assured me I would be fine as I was a little nervous and the piercing took no time at all! The shop was clean, tidy and well presented and I will definitely be returning for body jewellery and future piercings. Highly recommend!

Got my first tattoo here after a recommendation from a friend and I cannot recommend this place enough. The artist was lovely and put me totally at ease the second he noticed I was nervous, gave me solid advice about the aftercare and the piece turned out exactly how I wanted it. It was genuinely a little emotional seeing the piece I had wanted for two years finally become a reality The store itself has a great look to it, the front of house has really awesome decorating and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The tattoo room itself is clean and it's been almost three weeks and my tattoo shows no signs of infection and the lines are still very crisp. On a very rainy and grey day I thought a nose piercing would bring some sunshine. Walked into Studio95 and just by chance and hearing a song in my head I chose Valerie to be my piercer. Was told im 5th in the queue to get pierced. Waited 45 mins and there was still 3 people in front of me. Piercer and lady at the counter went into the tattoo room to eat and drink while there was loads of people waiting to get pierced. Walked straight out as my dad had to go to work. Love this studio but the waiting time is ridiculous.

Had my vertical lip pierced here. Depending on the time of day you go in you may have to wait a while to be seen but it's really worth the wait. They don't rush any piercings, take the time to fully talk through your options for size, jewellery and placement. Been to some places that rush to meet the demand and you end up with ill fitting, wonky jewellery. Love my vertical lip can't wait to come back for more.

Today was my first visit at studio 95 to get my vertical labret done, despite already having my lobes, double helix, nose and belly button I was nervous to get it done. Cleanliness is great, the piercer was very thorough with sanitising. He explained the piercing very well and was indepth with how to clean the piercing. customer service was poor, difficult to get the attention of staff at the main desk. one member of staff went out for a cigarette, which i thought was quite unprofessional and unhygienic. i had vikki for my lobe piercing and she was very good at calming me down and the piercing pain wasn’t too bad. only thing is they didn’t let me choose the jewellery that went in my ear and gave me no information on aftercare at all, not even any solution. i got my solution from holier than thou that has an aftercare leaflet with it btw. only had my piercing done today so i’m not sure if it will heal properly or not, but i have high hopes.

Daughter’s first piercing- thank you AJ! Can’t recommend this piercing salon highly enough! My little girl has wanted her ears pierced for the past couple of years but having heard a number of worrying stories from places like Claire’s, I wanted to hold off and research the options thoroughly. I decided to take her to a piercer’s rather than somewhere that uses a gun for hygiene and safety reasons. From the moment we entered the studio we were warmly greeted by Nathan who gave us all the advice we needed and advised us to come back the following day to have the piercing done by AJ, who pierces children’s ears from the age of 7. And what a superstar she is! My little girl was understandably very nervous and during the piercing felt quite queasy (she’s incredibly squeamish). But none of this fazed AJ! She was so incredibly professional and put my little girl at ease throughout the whole process. She was so kind and warm, and reassuring, and explained exactly what was happening all the way through. It was all over with quite quickly but having seen a little blood, my little girl felt nauseous. AJ took it all in her stride and sat her down with some water and reassuring words which made her feel much better. Having seen that she was a bit unnerved by the whole thing, she advised us to contact her any time of day if we had any questions or concerns at all. She soon put my daughter at ease and had her smiling again. Couldn’t recommend Studio 95 enough, and I’d recommend AJ to anybody thinking of getting their child’s ears pierced. Great experience. Went for a small (3") bee tattoo on my chest. Room was clean and bed was sterilised and covered in clingfilm before I lay on it. Very little pain as Otis used a shading needle rather than the standard line one (chest tatoos are usually more sensitive, apparently). They must have done hundreds of these bee tatoos since the Arena bomb, but Otis didn't make me feel like this was 'just another one'. Staff seemed a friendly bunch and I'd have no reservations about going back.

got my industrial done here, the waiting time wasn't too bad at all, we waited for about 10 minutes and the piercer (really sorry, didn't catch his name) was really calm and reassured me through the whole process and gave an aftercare booklet, (got my actual aftercare from next door piercing shop "holier than thou") excellent experience, will be back for more:-)
