BEST place to go for a piercing in my opinion. The staff are real experts who are so thorough, they even took the time to check for blood vessels in my ear before piercing. Their set up is incredibly hygienic and you can tell they are so passionate and knowledgable about what they do. I have had several piercings from PX piercing over 15 years. I visited last week to add an extra ear piercing to my upper lobe. As always Peter and Margaret were incredible, always to welcoming, professional and helpful. In regard to Covid, they could not have ran a tighter ship. One person in at a time for appointments, history taking and temperature taking upon arrival. A change in mask prior to the piercing and ensured social distancing was adhered to. Had a fantastic experience getting my navel pierced earlier today- I was a little nervous but they swiftly put any nerves I had at ease with their chatty and friendly approach. From the moment I was greeted to the moment I left they were superb. They explained the process kindly and professionally, explaining healing time and aftercare as well as outlining the process of the piercing itself. It was all over in literally a couple of minutes and were happy to let me lie down until I felt ready to sit up, even offering me water and a sweet because of my melodramatic response to needles. Absolutely chuffed to bits with the results and highly recommend PX Piercing to anyone looking for a new piercing whether they're first timers or well versed in getting pierced.

Walked in to do a nostril piercing. They did the piercing in 18g, though it should be easy enough to stretch myself to a 16/14g once it’s healed. The couple that runs the shop are super nice and extremely friendly, had a good chat as well. The piercing itself was minimal in discomfort and soreness was gone by the next morning. Definitely coming back soon to do my other nostril and will bring people to them as well.

My 13 year old daughter was desperate for a rook piercing however PX being the professionals they are did not recommend it at her age - taking their advice she had a third piercing on her lobe. It was her first piercing with a needle and the guys were great putting her at ease and making sure she was ok afterwards. She said it was so much better than a piercing with a gun. Great after care advice and the clinic is immaculate. I (mum) returned a week later for an industrial. Again very professional but friendly service and an almost pain free experience - much better than I expected. So happy with the result. Wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommended. My daughter has just had her belly button pierced at Px Piercing Clinic and I can not recommend the place enough. The staff were amazing, so friendly, so reassuring and they explained everything they needed to do and what they were doing throughout. I researched this extensively on the net and there were only positive reviews about this place. I must admit the entrance was a little tricky to find, but once inside, I could see why the reviews were so good. It was so clean and spacious and you could not meet two nicer people than Margaret and Peter. They made you feel so welcome and put you instantly at ease. The couple who works here were super nice and friendly. I got an ear piercing with my friend (it was my second piercing and first for him), for which they used a needle (which is less painful than a gun). I have a very low pain tolerance but honestly this piercing did NOT hurt; they put some numbing spray around the area carefully and it only took like 5 minutes to do. The piercing is healing really well too - totally recommend!

I visited PX after having some issues with a nose piercing I'd had done at another studio in town. I was desperate for some advice on aftercare as I was having several issues with the piercing. PX were fantastic, offered me sound advice (which saved my piercing) and they were incredibly friendly! PX Piercing clinic is the only piercing place I use. Safe, professional, clean, and friendly They take their work seriously and I honestly couldn't recommend them enough. None of my piercings have had any problems and I've had 7 piercings done here now (2 helix piercings, a second lobe piercing on one side, a nose piercing, a belly button/navel piercing, a tragus piercing and now a rook piercing). They have a selection of options in jewellery for most piercings and always give you advice on aftercare. If you're "into" piercings then they are perfect because they are clean and very knowledgable, and if you're wanting a first piercing and you're a bit worried about it and not sure where to go then PX Piercing Clinic is perfect for you also as I was nervous and clueless when I got my first piercing, now they know me by name and sight and as I say I've been back 6 times since, what more can I say? 5 star, no doubt, I travel like 20 miles from a different town to get my piercings done here and I've never felt as if that was a bad decision, and I always feel the journey was worth it 😊

They comforted me when I was worried about the pain and ensured me it wasn’t painful. The price range is relatively cheap and ranges from £20 to £35 depending on which jewellery you select. After having several piercings at other studios in Newcastle (Hype and Newcastle Jewellers) I am happy to say that my recent experience at PX Piercing was superior in comparison. The couple who run the place made me feel so welcome and relaxed, they even let me go for a smoke out the back to calm myself down before hand! The waiting room was clean and tidy with relaxing music and some great pictures of cows (that had been pierced - not the actual cow, the canvas!) which made me giggle! After I went into the studio where they perform the piercing, I signed a consent form and the lady checked the area (my lip had already been pierced twice before) to see if it was in good enough condition. She then asked me to lie down and offered some numbing spray... I have never, ever been offered this elsewhere and believe me, it made the experience a whole lot better! They let me take my time to get ready to leave and were very chatty and personal, compared to other "silent" piercers that make you feel uncomfortable/awkward. If you are thinking of getting a piercing in Newcastle, go here - seriously, I wish I had went here for all of my other ones!

I went to PX in China Town, Newcastle and I can really recommend it to anyone in the area who has been putting it off like I have! The 2 people there treated me really well and I felt pretty relaxed which is amazing really as I have a needle phobia! I explained to them that I was trans and I wanted to have the traditional feminine piercing and they were really understanding of that and offered me clip on pretty sparkly balls that I can change the plain surgical stainless steel ones with. Before I went I read up loads about it online, and everything they told me to look out for they seemed to have. She had the autoclave oven, used a disposable hollow needle that she threw out afterwards, had full training about health and safety and cleanliness, and it looked a bit more like a hospital room. They even used a local anesthetic on my ear. I asked her how long she had been doing this and she said 23 years :). When I compare it to Claire's accessories which uses a gun and has loads of people walking past and is normally performed by a teenager who probably has only had an afternoons training!
