I had a great experience with my triple Helix piercing. I came in with tons of questions like: how often should I clean it, should I take it out to clean it, when can I change my jewellery and etc; and everyone took the time to answer. Also big thanks to Ben who did my piercing <3 Light hand, great chat, really took time to reccomend the placement on my ears and dint rush after the job was done to allow me to recover as I always get slightly lightheaded after piercing. Absolutely going to him next time for my Flat or Rook piercing :) And will come in to change my jewellery when it's time! Clean, professional, super lovely!

Had a lovely experience at Urban Piercings today, turned up with 2 friends to get our ears pierced and we felt super comfortable as soon as we walked in. I had 2 ear lobes and a helix piercing, done by Eliza. Eliza was so lovely and chatty, I forgot that I was nervous! She had good communication - she made sure to tell me whenever she was doing something. Ben gave my friend a tragus and a helix piercing, she said he was wonderful and really kind, he put her at ease as she was a bit nervous when she walked in. Evie gave my other friend a forward helix and 2 lobes, she said Evie was very patient, friendly and helpful. She didn't mind readjusting the placements of the marks until my friend was happy, and was willing to have a chat and a laugh. The studio was clean and each piercer practiced good hygiene, the receptionist was also super friendly - overall a great experience!

Travelled from Southampton to get my smiley piercing upon my sisters recommendation, and I’m SO glad I did. It’s so important to go to a dedicated piercing shop when getting a difficult/tricky piercing because the healing time and process is better when it’s pierced in the proper position correctly. Highly highly recommend this shop to everyone super professional, chatting and friendly - you get a complimentary jewellery change as well after the piercing has healed. I’ll be back!!

Great ease of booking online, the deposit feature inadvertently prevented me from chickening out of my nipple piercings. Been considering getting it done for at least 4 years now but was so scared about the pain and vulnerability involved in actually piercing them. Took the plunge! Ben (who pierced me) and the person on the desk who took my payment (colourful hair) both put cultivated a really lovely environment. Ben was precise, quick and professional. Lovely range of jewellery to choose from, was sold a convenient and effective cleanser for the healing process. So happy with the results and very little pain! Couldn't recommend enough. 5 stars !

Urban has been my go-to for piercings for 15 years. Each visit is even better than the last, and today's visit was no exception. All the staff involved in my visit were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. This studio is extremely clean (but not clinical-looking), covid-safe and follows all of the latest guidance about piercing best practice. Ben, my piercer today, was just amazing. He really wanted me to leave feeling like I'd been properly taken care of and delighted with my new piercing, which I did. Although piercings are expected to be painful, it was a very comfortable experience for me, and he will do whatever it takes to minimise your discomfort when you're in his care. Because this is such a desirable studio they do get busy which means they don't always run to schedule, but the wait is worth it for the quality of service you get. These folks really know their way around a needle and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Urban piercings in located in Reading town centre; it is easily to travel to by local transport and has plenty of nearby car parks. The friendly staff are very knowledgeable and helpful and are always happy to offer advice. They have a great website that has loads of information, facts and advice, aswell as an easy online booking system. I have visited here three times now with my daughters and they have both been happy with the level of service and the outcome of their piercings. The shop is clean, tidy and hygienic and as you would expect staff go through all the health and safety aspects of your chosen piercing when you arrive. All health and safety practices are followed- gloves, sterilisation, new needles etc etc and staff requested to see my daughter’s IDs on all visits which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend this business for your piercing needs.

I couldn't trust anyone with my noise piercing up until I had to save it so it won't close. Not only did they save my piercing, everyone was very friendly, very reassuring and also to the point especially with he after care treatment. Love this place, very clean as well! Cannot recommend this place enough! It is in Reading Town Centre off friar Street. I have took Taylor for a piercing and I am beyond impressed! The customer service was to a point where we felt we had known the guys for years and their level of care surpassed that. I will never go anywhere else from now on. The staff were very friendly, professional and hygienic (also covid safe - temp check). It was my first piercing, Nicole was very reassuring and made doubly sure that I was happy about where exactly on my eyebrow the curved bar would be going. Even when I said "yeah that's fine" she could see by my expression that I wasn't quite 100%, so did a slight adjustment to the dots until I was completely happy. This is the only place I would go to get a piercing. Took my 11 year old daughter to get her ear lobes pierced today and the staff made her feel completely at ease and were so friendly towards her. Got my helix done here and I am so happy with it. It was my first time getting an ear piercing other than my lobes and I was nervous. Nicole really takes her time answering all the questions I had and explained the steps as she went along to pierce my ears. I felt very informed and very confident with how the session went. The team there are very welcoming and professional. When I went to get my ear lobe pierced they were great, turned out exactly how I wanted. I came back to get my septum pierced and they were very professional. They explained that I was unable to get a septum piercing as my sweet spot was located very close to the tip of my nose. I was very impressed having visited urban piercing. The nature of the staff was very warm and welcoming. Presentation wise the place was very clean and organised. Every staff member wore a face shield and they reinforced use of santizing hands before entering and upon leaving the store. Social distancing was maintained. As a nurse I was truly impressed and felt more at ease to see the adherence to maintain safety for customers and staff. I had just found out about having your daith pierced to combat migraines. When I got home from work I decided to Google for a Parlour. I came across Urban Piercings and saw they had a tremendous review score so I gave them a call. The member of staff who answered the call was very polite and courteous. She gave me her honest opinion and related customer feedback on the effectiveness of the piercing. It took me all of 20 minutes to call them back to book an appointment for that afternoon. The shop itself was immaculate and I was glad to see that all the staff there were as cheerful and empathic as the colleague who answered the phone. The member of staff who performed my piercing, I feel bad for not remembering her name, was wonderful. She had a great manner and was very calming. She setup ready to go but wouldn't start until I was ready. At no point was I made to feel rushed. The piercing itself hurt a lot less than I imagined. I felt no sharp pain only pressure as the needle went through. I would say that a lot of that was done to the young ladies skill and professionalism. I would highly recommend Urban Piercings and I'm already considering getting my other ear done. Well deserved 5 stars.

Had my nose pierced today by Nicola, she was beyond professional, very attentive and relaxing. Answered all my questions, I almost forgot she was about to stick a needle through my nose as she was so calming! Everyone was very nice the receptionist asked if I wanted some water and Ben I think his name is reassured me that I’d be fine. Very good experience, explained everything well including the after care. My daughter's original ear piercing had stretched a bit and was off center, so Ben carefully measured and pearced the ear in the right spot. He was caring and recommended a plan forward which really reassured my daughter and made us feel comfortable. I had my 2nd piercings done on my ears as well, very happy! New masks given to us upon entry, temperature checked, constant anti bac cleaning of hands and tablet that we used to enter our details. Clearly respecting the new covid normality properly. Used Urban Piercings for the first time today 18/7/2018 and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Managed to get a slot for an hour later so had time for lunch and a coffee before the appointment. This was my first piercing (Nipple) so was a little nervous I had Lian assigned to do the piercing. I love urban piercings!! The staff are super friendly and cool plus it's very clean and professional. Ok you can find cheaper alternatives but trust me pay that little extra as so many people were coming in to get their piercings corrected after they were botched elsewhere including one girl who was literally hysterical. I had my nose done they were running behind but the staff kept me and my cousin very entertained so I wasn't bothered defo going back for my conch piercing and I'm asking for Leanne as she rocks!!

Alex fitted me in when my daiith piercing became wedged. A lovely lady managed to take it out. Sadly, as it was white gold, it snapped. Put you at ease! I'm a nervous person with piercings. Got my Tragus done there and healed nicely. Just got my conch done a couple of days ago and they put me at ease again. It's very relaxing when you're waiting and prepares you for piercing.

What a wonderful place! I went in extremely nervous, to get my tragus pierced. The piercer was really friendly. Had to wait about 15 minutes as she was piercing someone else first, but she assured me that I would be next and it wouldn't be long. She explained about the different types of jewellery I could have it pierced with. I chose one, paid and bought the cleaning solution too. The overall price was more than I would have expected espeicallly considering I received 20% student discount. Having said that, I was happy to pay that much for a good quality, hygienic piercing, which I am glad to say I have received. The process was quick and easy, and less painful than I had imagined. She talked me through everything and brought me some water afterwards. She explained how to care for it, when to change it, and that if I wanted them to change it for me or if I had any questions then just to pop back in. Really pleased with the whole experience, I don't think I would go anywhere else for a piercing now. It has been 1 week and it's already started to heal nicely, doesn't hurt anymore and I haven't had any issues. Thanks Urban Piercings!

VERY impressed with these guys. I was booked in with Belle for a piercing but prior to actually wielding a needle she took a look at the site and noticed that one of my existing piercings* was inflamed. She recommended waiting for that piercing to heal before making any more holes, issued a full refund AND gave me a recipe for a magic potion to heal the soreness. I definitely rate these folks and will be returning once the inflammation has gone down. *not done by Urban Piercings.

I had my helix piercing done here - my first cartilage piercing and I am a VERY nervous customer. The lady who pierced my ear was very good at explaining what she was doing, she had thorough hygeiene procedures and put me at ease. I would definitely reccomend it and I will be going back for future piercings. They run a drop in system where you go on the day you want your piercing, they'll give you a time to come back (for example I went in at 3:00 on a saturday and they gave me a time for 4.30) which worked fine for me. If you want to be pierced earlier it seems wise to go in first thing.
