Always a good service with polite helpful drivers and they seem very honest with their times and do not give you false information that the taxi will be 10 minutes when they really mean 30 minutes. I have been using them for years and as I work in the hospitality industry use them for customers and never been let down. Also they have not put their prices up to a ridiculous amount due to the cost of fuel unlike some firms

Second time I have used key cars. Again as I wrote in my first review, was very happy with the service. Arrived 7ish minutes after calling. Had done some shopping so the driver helped me push the trolley to the car and put the shopping in the boot for me, then when I got home, he took the shopping out of the car and bought it to the front door. Was very polite and respectful. Will use key cars again. Thank you key cars.

I booked a 5am pick up to go to the train station. The person that took my call answered quickly and was polite and helpful. I got a confirmation text straight away and then another to say when the taxi was on its way. The driver was also polite, punctual and helped us with luggage. Will definitely use them again.

I’ve been using them for years now & they’re very good. They answer calls quickly & you can get a taxi in less than 15 minutes. There’s an app also. Only had one driver who had an issue with maps but it worked out in the end. Prices have gone up as a result of inflation but they’re still affordable.

Key Cars supplied two vehicles cheaper than the competitor, that phoned me an hour before my journey to say the 8 seater vehicle I had booked a week in advance wasn’t available. Both drivers arrived 10 minutes before our departure time and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend Key Cars.

Usually I'm very happy with friendly and polite drivers. The driver I had today was arrogant, came late then was driving recklessly overtaking and pushing in as if trying to make up for being late.Whilst texting love hearts to his wife.I had two kids with me and asked for return journey and card payment which was completely disregarded and I was taken to petrol station to withdraw cash. It would be very helpful to have the option to book return trip on company's app.

I want to start by saying I have used key cars in the past (before covid) and have very rarely had issues, so that is why I am rating 3 stars. But after using key cars twice recently, it seems the service is not at the same level. I ordered a taxi in advance that did not arrive on time so I had to cancel as I have somewhere important to be. Called up to be told theres no drivers available. I understand in covid times business is difficult, my issue is, if a taxi is booked in advance and you can see your not going to make it in time with no drivers available, you should be letting customers know this via call/text/app notification. If its booked for a certain time its for a reason.

We use key cars sometimes upto 4 x a day often spending in excess of £75 daily. They are always prompt and give clear information about how long they will be. The drivers often lack professionalism and can be quite rude when it comes to waiting times. Prices are not consistent and the same run can vary in price depending on who you speak to when ringing in to book the taxi. They should offer a loyalty scheme for customers like myself who are spending a lot of money with them.

My local taxi app. Very simple interface, somewhat similar to Uber. Greets me when I open the app, locates me straight away and asks me where I want to go. Underneath the search box, there is a list of recent destinations I can select. If I need other options I can scroll to select my "home" or "work" if that is where I want to go. I can access my favourites as well. I can see my profile, a history of my rides, add payment information should I wish to pay through the app or select Cash. It takes me seconds to get a cab. Once the order is complete, there are a number of text messages to notify me the driver is on its way, close by, or has in fact arrived. It is one of the easiest apps I have.

The majority of key cars taxis are good, but one thing that annoys me is when the taxi arrives earlier than you requested (like 15 minutes earlier) and then call you to rush you because they already booked someone else. I booked you for a certain time for a reason. Another thing, we get an automated message as customers saying we MUST wear a mask for COVID-19 but none of the taxi drivers ive had were wearing masks. Kind of defeats the purpose.
