I got a booking just over a week in advance. Spoke to Edna on the phone then eventually over email - very pleasant and organised all around. Quick responses to all follow up questions, even on the morning of collection. Of the companies I rang this one gave me the best quote. A gentleman named Alan helped with the move on the day of collection - friendly, professional and also kept me informed via text (as my train from point A to B was cancelled, I was running late to the delivery). Entire thing was surprisingly swift and so I would use this company again in future.

Really good movers, I had done a bit of price comparison before hand so I know they are the best value. I was a bit worried before hand that because they were cheap the service wouldn't be as good, but I'm happy to say I was totally wrong. The guys who moved the stuff were excellent and professional and arrange the move was easy as could be. If you need all your stuff moved these guys are great.

They Helped us move home from Glasgow to London. We had been let down by another company and 1st Movers agreed to take on the job at fairly short notice. The price was great, better than the other company. Everyone I met/dealt with was very helpful and pleasant. My only gripe would be that I would’ve liked to have known precise ish timings a few days in advance so we could make firm plans. On the day itself we were just kind of on standby not sure when they would arrive. Also I would’ve liked a written contract outlining everything, including insurance info/schedule etc. But It wasn’t a deal breaker, just constructive criticism. I’d definitely use them again.

The company were responsive right from me requesting a quote, they called me to clarify some information so they could provide the correct service. I used the 2 person service as I’m not very strong and the guys were great, very professional and patient with me running around after them tidying up. I had the best experience with 1st Movers Edinburgh. I had originally tried to send two boxes with another company and it was a disaster. I was completely desperate when I called 1st Movers Edinburgh but Sarah was extremely kind and helpful; she explained everything to me and she helped me to arrange the payment. The collection was arranged for the day after my call and the boxes were at my home the day after that. After the delivery, Sarah called me to confirm that everything was OK. I would also like to mention how organised everything was. Firstly, I had very specific instructions (for example, I had requested for the drivers to call me before attempting collection and delivery) and they were followed meticulously. Additionally, I got replies to each one of my emails within hours. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with 1st Movers Edinburgh and I couldn’t recommend them more!

A really good service We had more goods to move than we had originally anticipated and this the bill/quote became more of a moving meter, but that was OK as they still did the job. All our valuable and fragile items were moved perfectly bar one glass vase, which when I mentioned, they revised the quote down a little. I would definitely use them again

Excellent Service. I have moved from Inverness to Edinburgh , the crew arrived 10 minutes before the agreed time and it took only under a hour for them to load the van ( this included disassembling two bigger beds). Arrived Edinburgh within the agreed timing and the crew were really efficient in assembling the beds and unloading all items to the desired place. Crew was really efficient, fast and proactive. The office staff was also really helpful with right information, good price and desired service. I would always recommend first movers and its crew for relocation anywhere in UK. It is important to mention that they have offered an insurance to all critical items and none of the items were damaged during the move.
