We completed our WHW trip in early May and have nothing but praise for the AMS service. There were 5 in our group and we all agreed that having the bags transferred was money very well spent. Every morning, it was so easy to leave our bags at the accommodation in the knowledge that they would be picked up and delivered to our next location. Every evening when we arrived at our destination, the bags had beaten us there and we had the luxury of all the clean and dry clothes ready to wear. The service ran very smoothly and I would recommend it to anyone undertaking the trip. Thanks to all of the AMS team for lightening our load!

What great service! First of all is the preparation before your trip and the communication all of which is brilliant. Then there's the actual reality of the trip and once again the service is first class. Something really luxurious about arriving at a place to find your bags are ready and waiting for you. Lastly was our transfer back to our start point, really friendly and generally interested driver, that really put the icing on what had been a fabulous trip.

I left some bits behind at two hotels along the way. AMS picked them up and got them to the next hotel on my way, without a hitch. These guys were great -- the guy who answered the phone initially proposed that they would do it for free. That was absurd, especially since their prices are low anyway. The hotel staff know who AMS is, so there's no problem with coordination. I hiked the West Highland Way 26 years ago, by myself, and this time with my family. If I do it with grandkids 26 years from now, I'm definitely using AMS to move my stuff!

AMS Baggage Service really went above and beyond to support my walk along the WHW. My bag arrived before I did every day (even on days I arrived I arrived earlier than expected) and upon check-in my bags were always where I needed them... When I left some small personal items behind at one of my accommodations AMS was there to pick them up and return them to me the next day saving me a lot of time, stress, and walking. I cannot recommend them enough.

On the 1st day of our west higland way adventure. AMS were our saviours and we can't thank them enough! On the way to start our trip we were delayed by a road traffic accident and although we had contacted our original baggage company they couldn't wait for us. Luckily when we arrived at milngavie there was an AMS van still at the station and the guys there were so friendly and helpful and had room to take our baggage to our 1st destination. Also every time we saw one of there vans whilst out on the way every driver had a smile and a wave. I wish I had booked the whole trip with them and def will do for the next time.

Very reliable service. We had no issues. Except for one day our luggage was always on location before we arrived at our hotel. The other day we had to wait just 30 minutes until our luggage came. The luggage is treated in a respectful manner.

Great and super responsive service. Our luggage was lost by KLM. AMS kept track of where we were, came up with different solutions and suggestions for help on a day by day basis, and in the end (when it was clear that our luggage would no longer arrive) the costs for the luggage transfers that we booked were completely refunded. Last week me and my boyfriend completed the West Highland Way. One thing that made the experience even better was the service of AMS. Our baggage got picked up at the Milngavie train station and from there it was always reliable at our B&B, after a long way of hiking. We did not have any issues. Everything went incredibly smooth and I am so glad we booked it. If you are thinking about doing the West Highland Way and don't know whether to book it or not. I can only say: Do it! It lets you enjoy the walk much more.

Used AMS baggage transfer for WHW and would highly recommend them. It was reassuring to have luggage transported efficiently at each of our accommodation stops. We splashed out and got what can only be described as our own executive transport from Fort William back to Milngavie. Craig the driver was so informative on pointing out the route we had walked. He went out of his way to drive through Glencoe Village knowing we had never been. He even shared the history of the massacre of Glencoe when we stopped at the monument. He also stopped so we could take photos of the 3 Sisters mountain range. The relaxing drive back was the perfect end to our holiday. Thanks AMS.

What an absolute pleasure it was to use AMS for our WHW commencing 18th May 2019. From beginning to end it was seamless from arriving at our destination to leaving the next day. We never even saw any of the staff but felt really safe in the knowledge our bags would be at our destination safely and securely.
