e. m.Most taxi drivers in this company are good and helpful. Just one taxi driver did took me in a wrong place somehow it was checked and took me to my place. One problem is sometimes I waited for a taxi for a long time that forces me take another taxi from another company. Thought when Mac and Hasties joined, the waiting time should not long.

B.Have used Mac cars for a long number of years service drivers top class.great value for money.Hastie driver this morning polite friendly and very helpful..however my only complaint is that since mac and hastie have merged i was informed quite firmly by the girl who took my initial call when i tryed to book a taxi from Bothwell to Monklands hospital that i woul be charged from Blantyre to Monklands not Bothwell to Monklands as this was considered out the District..This was never the case with Mac..change of company so this is a change to prices!!!. I declined the taxi and from now on will when in Bothwell source a local taxi..This has a potential for loss of business for the drivers.

A. R.Great drivers sadly let down by the guys in the control office. There is one guy that is clued up knows customers and is very pleasant. However on a Friday night if your told 20 mins and the taxi doesn't come it is frustrating. Just say you don't have a taxi and people can make other arrangements that's twice I've had to wait around an hour and no ring back. If it's going to be an hour just say that. I'm sure John Cunningham would agree. I use this company regularly but have been disappointed lately .

j. c.I am replying to the review from Vivienne Farris !!! After listening to the phone recording between yourself and my 2 staff members there seems to be a few inaccuracies in your review. Firstly the booking was made on Friday 27th March and not Monday 31st March.
Secondly when you made the booking the first thing you asked was how long the waiting time was and you were told roughly 10 minutes, which you replied that isnt quick enough i will phone Mac Cars as well. My staff member then said to you it was not advisable to phone 2 different companies as if the 2 cars arrived at the same time then both cars wouldnt pick you up which is common practice with Hastie and Mac Cars. The reason for this is because one driver will get the hire and the other driver will just have had his time wasted which i dont believe is fair!!!!
After 2 minutes you phoned back and said just cancel that Taxi ( without mentioning your address ) which one of my other staff member replied what Taxi are you talking about can you give me your address please ? You then said the one i spoke to you about a few minutes ago. The girl then said I haven`t spoken to you and you slammed the phone down !!!
So to be honest my staff werent rude as they were only trying to determine which address you wanted cancelled. Possibly you thought you were talking to the same person on both occasions and thats why you thought the same girl was being rude. But at that time of the day there are three staff members on and we are dealing with thousands of calls a day hence why we always ask for what address you wanted to cancel.
I apologize for any misunderstanding but i don`t see what else my staff could have done especially when you slammed the phone down.
