I have a broken arm and leg and live on a 2nd floor flat. As a single woman I’ve had no one to help me downstairs. I asked this cab service if they can help me get to hospital appointments. Their cab drivers are always on time and always help me down the stairs and carry my wheelchair or frame. They are so kind and helpful. I couldn’t of got through last 4 weeks without their help. You would never get this service with Uber. They are a top class local firm! Their service has given me faith that there is a lot of kindness in London.

I had a great experience booking Central Radio Cars for my journey in Central London, the taxi driver was on time, really helpful and kind throughout. The journeys are very reasonably and competitively priced and they have a 24/7 line which is useful to amend the bookings if needed. We ordered a cab for a run from Walthamstow to Heathrow at 6.45 am on December 26. (TfL had shut down all rail service to the airport for Boxing Day!) The driver was great, prompt, courteous. The car was clean and well maintained. The drive felt safe. The price was competitive. Overall, no hesitation in recommending Central Radio Cards

I have been using this reliable company for around 15 years but only felt compelled to leave a review this morning after the man in the office went above and beyond to help me get me and my cat (both quite stressed!) to our vet appointment after one of their other drivers got stuck in traffic. The man locked the office and came to pick me up personally while diverting the business calls so he could answer from the car. I'm so impressed and quite moved that he would go to such lengths - such care for the customer should be applauded. The driver who took me home later on was also absolutely lovely - friendly, chatty, opened the door for me, offered to help carry the cat basket. PLEASE SUPPORT LOCAL FIRMS AND NOT UBER!!

I used Central Cars twice recently, once for a short trip in Walthamstow and the other for a drop off at Heathrow. On both occasions the drivers were impeccable, prompt and polite. Ismail for the airport run was exceptional as we did experience quite a bit of slow traffic. I strongly recommend this taxi firm.

The patience and care that this firm paid as beyond the call of duty. The driver waited for me at Heathrow airport for almost 4 hours. He drove me home carefully and in good humour given the extreme length of time he had waited. They cannot be faulted.

I have used this cab firm for five years now and would not hesitate to recommend them. I was quite saddened to read some of the reviews on google as in all the years they have been nothing short of excellent. Most drivers are wonderful people, always kind and generous to a fault. 5 stars.

They are consistently good and I find when you book online it’s really reliable and the drivers are decent , the cars are clean and I think it’s generally a fair “fare” they charge.

Always on time and reasonable prices. It’s very easy to book through the app, track the driver as they’re approaching, etc. Our flight arrived nearly an hour earlier than scheduled but our driver was monitoring via the flight number and was at the airport waiting for us.

I recently used Central Cars for a return journey to Stansted when I was going on holiday. The drivers were punctual, friendly and very helpful. I was concerned about having to wait on my return in the early hours but as soon as I landed there was a text saying the car had been dispatched and then when I was in the luggage hall the driver texted that he was waiting for me so it all went very smoothly. Reasonable charges and no hidden costs. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again. Thanks!

Controllers have always remembered my name and destination as soon as I enter the office. Drivers are always pleasant and remember me. For a cab service I can’t fault it and is always my go to to get home. To the person who commented before, it’s been well advertised the price is going up from £5 to £5.50 as minimum. Maybe you should open your eyes? Or walk. 👌

Cabs in general are very hit and miss where ever you go to be honest. Ive used this one a fair bit and most of the drivers are very friendly and polite. Tonight had a very positive experience driver 36, Mohammed. Always call and double check the price and prepare your cash in advance that way its a positive experience for both parties. Also I found it really handy that you can pay by card in the office before hand as I dont always have cash on me. All and all pretty good. If you respect the Drivers, they respect you.

Excellent cab company. I have not been living in the area long and the service has always been very good. The controllers have always been polite. There is a controller there, stocky white guy who is exceptional. The other day I went there feeling all hot and sweating after a long tube journey. The controller seen my condition and imediately gave me a cold bottle of water and told me to take my time. I offered to pay him for the water, but he refused and said that my health was more important. Where else can you get that kind of service?

The controller Nav is an absolute pleasure to speak with and a credit to the company, he is always polite, helpful and very friendly and always offers to help me with my bags like a true gentleman! My first experience of using Taxis in London. Staying overnight in Local Area ,and needed to Travel to Wedding Venue. Booked by telephone, operative very helpful. Taxi on time, nice and clean- unexpectedly Son & small daughter extra passengers not a problem. Return Journey, phoned a booking, arrived at precise time. Will use again if in the area.

I just wanted to say a big big big thank you to the tall asian controller working there in the evening last Thursday, you ran to stop me from getting into an unlicensed taxi that was touting in the area and I truly dread to think what could've happened had you not acted as quick and as swiftly as you did :) I think you said your name was Naz (but I may have misheard understandably due to the shock of the situation) but thank you very much from both myself and my husband whom I later told as soon as I got indoors! Central Radio Cars will from now be highly recommended by myself to friends and family and especially females travelling alone as the night could've taken a horrible turn had it not been for their vigilance and care. I also took the number plate of the illegal taxi and have reported it to the police so I hope you're apprehended soon!

Quick cheap and i never have to wait for my taxi longer than fee minutes. The lovely man on the phone taking the calls has the best, deep, sexy voice and should work on bbc6 radio!!
