Reviews of Manchester Piccadilly
K. P.This was a grand station to change trains at, headed by a colossal glass roof! The lobby has a similarly styled roof and is massive, featuring numerous places to eat or drink and expansive live departure boards. Platforms are appropriately sized for the services and signs make it easy to navigate around, showing the exits and different platforms. The staff were fine and the station was well-managed, having cleanliness maintained all over!

A. z. A.Bright with plenty of information screens. Good location in relation to city. Only 8 or 9 mins walk to the main shopping street of Market St. You can connect to most parts of the country from this station
M. H.A very good station with easy routes to all over the country. There are plenty of facilities in the station as well as good seating areas and clear to follow signs and notice boards.
T. M. (.One of the best-organized stations in England, also one with very many facilities that make your journey easier. Despite it being one of the largest "central stations", even during peak hours there's no chaos. For such a big and busy place, the station layout is admirably clear and streamlined - you'll always know exactly where to go. I've never encountered any rude staff here, e.g. at the ticket checks. I love how tickets are checked by people, not automats. Nothing like this exists here.
The cleanliness of the station is exemplary, too. No litter lying about, despite the propensity of the British to drop their empty food containers wherever they feel like it.
I also love little details, like the train/platform displays that even show you the present location of your train: "This train is currently at/between ..." We don't have anything like that in my country.
T.So if you arrive on a flight from Manchester Airport it takes approximately 40 minutes to get off your plane and walk to the train station assuming you have only hand & cabin luggage.
When you arrive at Manchester Piccadilly walk along the concourse to get your connecting train literally 2 minutes.
The train to London Euston was on platform 6.
Unfortunately no charging terminal on train.

S. E.Manchester always holds this subtle attraction. Definitely felt peaceful as I was driven around the city again today, after such a long time. Manchy is beautiful, bold, bubbly. Who knows? I might even have found new reasons to keep coming back!
J. F.Easy to navigate around the station; good food outlets and friendly staff who are particularly helpful with any special needs or disabilities. Lifts aren't always fully operational, which can make it tricky with wheels but again, staff are helpful. Toilets could do with more frequent servicing.
D. B.Great station. Good signage around the station making it easy to know where you need to be, lots of staff if your still confused. There was also a Sainsburys inside the station good for grabbing some food or drink before your train journey!
