C. C.What a wonderful taxi company. We had a delayed flight on our way to our daughter’s graduation ceremony at Durham University, consequently it looked as though we would miss the ceremony. Wendy tracked our flight, called us the moment we landed to reassure us that our driver was waiting. A lovely driver in a comfortable, clean, new car met us and drove us smoothly to Durham. I would definitely recommend Arrow Cars without hesitation. Oh and they were cheaper than any other quote we had.

I booked via the app so I knew what the fare would be and paid via my card, easy for expense claims.

L. C.Although understanding that current circumstances are not normal I was disappointed. I booked a taxi well in advance for my journey home after arriving back in the UK however I was informed that the taxi was 15 minutes away and that the driver would take me to my destination however as there were no other drivers available the driver would then need to return to the airport to pick my partner up to drive him to his destination although he booked at the same time as myself. The lady at the desk in the airport and the driver were great but I sympathised with what was far from an ideal situation as there is only Arrow taxi service operating from the airport.
D. J.Great new service at Newcastle airport. Was surprised to see a new service when I landed last night. What a refreshing change. Paid before I got in the car at the Arrow taxi office then walked outside to be met by a smart uniformed and polite driver in a brand new car. I’ve spent the last 10 years being picked up by scruffy drivers in old cars who charge different prices when it suits them and not interested in customer service. We’ll done Arrow and the airport for making the change.
J. T.When you arrive at 3am the last thing you want to do is figure out how to book a taxi at the airport and then wait 10-15 minutes for it to arrive. What was so wrong with the old system of standing in a queue where there were plenty of taxis just waiting and you were in a taxi in 2 minutes? To be fair, the driver was courteous, the car was clean and the price was more expensive but wasn’t extortionate. The booking system is just awful though and I can’t understand why Newcastle airport allowed this. After all it’s is great that you can be through passport control and luggage reclaim generally within half an hour - Newcastle Airport at its best, but then it’s all ruined with this new system.
Z. R.Our usual taxi firm wasn’t available to pick us up from Newcastle Airport. Saw the signs for this new taxi service outside the terminal building. Dead easy to use. Simply went to the desk just inside the terminal (which was staffed by three very jolly people at 11pm on a Sunday night), queued for less than 30 seconds, told them where we wanted to go, they gave us a very reasonable price (only £7.00 more than our usual firm), paid by card and within five minutes we were in a taxi and on our way home. There are self-service kiosks outside if you really can’t face interacting with humans after a long flight. Vehicle was spotless and driver was very smart and friendly. Would definitely use this service again.
C. M.This is a wonderful service from Newcastle airport. You go to the desk and can pay by cash or card. Just give your address postcode and then you get your receipt. Our taxi was waiting for us and the driver was very friendly. I would definitely use this service again as you feel safe and in good hands.

Promises from the aircrew of coaches to airports to get a different flight so we could reach our holiday destination must of been to keep us all hopeful and quiet
Yet when we arrived we were all told to go to arrow counter book a taxi get a receipt and claim it back.
Can I just point out that the two ladies who were working your office showed the easyJet passengers a lot more care and understanding than the airline staff did
They were both polite kind caring and understanding at our frustration
Those ladies handled the situation in a professional manner

B.Used the app for the 1st time coming back from hols at Newcastle Airport, said car would be 2mins, stood outside in rain for a while then asked at desk where car was, was told I should have a message to say where it was, but I hadn't got one. I was then told it was outside, but it wasn't, app then said car would be 15mins, turned up after about another 5mins. There were no cars on the rank like there used to be before, so maybe you need more drivers to provide the service you are trying to give. Having said that, the car was a nice, clean 7 seat Mercedes with a pleasant driver, so it wasn't all bad.

At least now there's a dedicated presence for customers to liase with. It is definitely a step towards a better and more professional service.
