We wore masks as is the law on public transport but the cab had Perspex screen anyway separating him from us and he wasn’t wearing a mask. Ride was smooth with a little light conversation. Any car you take from this company is always extremely clean and tidy and all drivers are professional . I’ve never had a bad experience using this company and the app is brilliant! Best taxi company in Nottingham by far and the cheapest too!

P. J.Have used DG before and have always been reliable punctual and efficient hence 3 stars. However today my taxi arrived ten minutes late. As i prebooked the night before I didn't think this was acceptable.
The driver started off in the wrong direction and then relied on my instructins to get us back on track which added a few minutes and a couple of quid to the cost of the journey. Thankfully I'd allowed for lateness in my booking time and was not late for work - just!!
M. I.D&G drivers are professionals. I’ve had maybe 100 trips with them in the past few years. Not one bad experience. They’re ok if you want to chat as well.

Unfortunately the Transit got a puncture on the M1 which meant I had to get my hands dirty and help the driver change the wheel on the hard shoulder.
Didn't mind doing it as the driver was a pleasant chap.
I think DG owe me a free ride for bailing then out.
P. M.This firm is reliable, reasonable in price* and knowledgeable about routes and local destinations. The cars are always recent models, kept clean and in good condition. I also like the app for bookings. When you get to my age, it's nice to be able to check back on the details of a booking you've made!
For instance, yesterday, Mr OA took me to a medical appointment. He was early and waited as I wasn't quite ready. He opened the door for me, and folded and put my walker in the boot. On arrival, he opened my door, fetched the walker out for me, unfolded it and held it ready for me to use. Very pleasant gentleman, polite and approachable, but not so chatty that he wasn't concentrating on his driving, just as it should be. Never used his phone once, as some taxi drivers do.
I never use anyone else than DG Cars now. The Nottingham Uber and the other so-called 'competition' are rubbish in comparison. Well done DG!
*They didn't even charge a premium over the Christmas period!
A. W.Wonderful customer service tonight after a concert at the O2. We knew it would be crazy busy but hadn't banked on the possibility that our driver would not be allowed into the private hire pickup bay. To add to the stress, my daughter had left her phone in a shop before boarding our train to London and did not realise this until the train was leaving the station. Consequently, I had no other means of contacting her as she was the only one going into the arena. A wonderful girl in the Sky VIP area ran to get a message to her and kept in contact with me throughout to make sure my daughter was clear about meeting point afterwards. The concert overran massively and I was really worried that we would not manage to find the taxi. However, after a few conversations between the driver and the office, we found it. Our driver was so kind and helpful, he gave us a bottle of water each and made sure we were comfortable. We made a brief comfort stop before eventually returning home for about 2.30am. The whole evening could have been disastrous but it turned out to be absolutely brilliant. My.daughter was beyond happy at seeing her favourite band, the concert was awesome and I felt so pleased that she had had such a wonderful time. My grateful thanks and good wishes go to our driver, and
massive apologies for causing him some stress! DG are definitely my taxi company of choice!

Apart from that, he arrived quickly after and was really good calm driver.

Consequently the driver had no idea where we were.
Apart from this system glitch we found the driver polite well presented.
