always a good thing when you get off your train and realise that your final destination is far a ways from the station meaning you will have to ring a taxi. googled Taunton taxis and this service is the first that comes up so gave them a try. Very friendly owner picks up telephone calls and does not get impatient if you do not know exactly how to describe where you are as they work with you to figure it out. speedy service first time and had to wait the second time (return trip) but 30 minutes is hardly anything to make a fuss about and is reasonable. As far as my drivers, Doug (1st drive) and Chris (return drive) : they were friendly meaning they greeted me with respect and both just generally had good dispositions to them. I also appreciated that neither of them tried to do that "taxi driver small talk thing." Not because I would have minded but it is certainly not necessary, right? After all you are just going about your day, nothing fascinating to remark. To sum it up: I was really pleased with Taunton Taxi Services. They made my trip out to purchase an instrument much simpler as I do not drive. Thanks!! ...I would like to add that I appreciate the very obvious branding on all your cars as it makes it so much simpler to spot the driver when they arrive, but also makes you feel more safe!

When I called the company, the time that they said was 15 minutes. Maybe even a few minutes before, the taxi arrived. Been using Taunton Taxi Services for nigh on three months and have never had any complaints. Prompt, on time and if they're not they'll let you know as soon as they do. The drivers are easy to talk to and full of conversation (particularly James and Marco), and it's always an easy transaction whether you're paying on card or cash. Wanted to do a quick shout out to James (and whoever is manning the online chat at 02:30am for helping me out massively when I left my phone in the back of one of their taxis. Within minutes I had a response to let me know they were on the way back around to drop my phone off to me and it was a brilliantly simple problem to solve. I used to get these taxis quite often for work and had no problem. I’ve noticed if I’m booking a taxi on the app for myself or my mum it always gets through and then straight after it is cancelled? I’m not sure if there’s a problem on the app it’s weird because when I call up it’s usually fine to have a taxi. I always end up getting A1 after this happens as there’s no problems with bookings with them.
