Only used this company twice and can not fault them. I needed a dog friendly taxi and other companies were less than helpful but, viking cars did not hesitate. Both drivers were fantastic and friendly. I WILL be recommending viking cars to anyone

Really pleasant taxi ride for work. Mike arrived exactly on time, had a well maintained and clean car, and was a delight to chat to. Great that you can pay contactless too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Used Viking for a taxi fare for 6 in a people carrier back from West End to Portsmouth , good value and a good service. Will definitely use again if in area . Driver helpfully assisted in lowering seats to get everyone on safety.

I've used Viking cars a few times and they are always on time, professional and respectful. I'm not sure why the reviews are so low on here, because I've always had excellent and reliable service. TodayI went from bursledon to London Heathrow. The driver was lovely and professional and came right to my dooron time. They are good value for money too.covid protections are good.

I used Viking to travel to the cruise terminal in Southampton. Both the outward and return journey were excellent. The driver called us to coordinate the return journey as we did not have a disembarkation time when we made the booking. A good service with a nice friendly sounding receptionist who took our booking with a fair price. Would definitely use again.

I've used viking cars several times for my elderly disabled mum. Occasionally I am unable to ferry her to her various clubs and was anxious the driver would look after her to and from the car. I can honestly say they have been consistently brilliant, the feed back I get from the clubs is always good. The drivers always ensure she is safe inside before driving away and don't charge the earth for the trip. If I ever need a taxi I don't go anywhere else now!

-- Updated review -- Since my old review, Viking Cars hasn't let me down and I've used them numerous amounts of times, and are understanding with train cancellations and suchlike. Really reliable. Old review Viking Cars charge a decent local rate compared to others. Usually are reliable even if the line is too busy. However I had a bad experience where I gave all the details 5 hours ahead and they did not book it into the system. Very frustrating as I did not know until time came and I missed my hourly train to London. Been awful since this merger with another company. He asked which company I booked through; how am I meant to know that when all they say is "Hello"?? Really bad service from this one experience. So even when you have booked, call again and confirm. Ridiculous system.

Viking cars pick up my daughter for work everyday, while they are occasionally late they can't control the traffic. Overall they are really good and my daughter really gets along well with the drivers.
