My neighbour recommended Crombey St Garage to me after I mentioned to him that my car had a transmission problem and needed some attention, I'm very happy to report that Joe the owner and his team have done an excellent job of replacing the clutch required in my Saab. Joe was friendly and professional and kept me informed throughout, he even unexpectedly sent me a video of the work being done and completed the job on time by working late and for a very reasonable price also ! I would thoroughly recommend Crombey St Garage and going forward will be using them for all my repairs, services and MOTs. Tim Peak-Garland

Joe is an Angel in disguise. We came from Sussex to visit the outlets. On the way the light had come on saying stop over heating. We tried calling RAC and found my car was covered but not the van. Omg what do we do now. So googled local garages and we found Crombey Street garage. Spoke to this really helpful chap called Joe. It was late in the afternoon the garage was very busy but as soon as he knew we were away from home and needed assistance he told us to come and see him to see what he could do. He diagnosed the problem straight away, our radiator was leaking and we will need a new one. Joe gave us enough coolant to get us home and would not take any money. We cannot thank him enough he really got us out of a very sticky situation. Massive thank you to Joe we will not forget his kindness.

Great service from this garage, my wife and I went to the outlets for the day, but on arrival the stop light came on, the engine was over heating, so we did a bit of shopping before contacting the RAC to then realise we are no longer members, Panic now what do we do??? Late in the afternoon randomly called a garage that was busy, I spoke to Joe who was really helpful, when he realised we lived 2 hours away he said to pop in to see if he could help, and sure enough he did we had a radiator leak, topped the coolant up and gave us 20 ltrs to see us back, and wouldn’t accept payment. This could have ended up being a very expensive trip out we couldn’t believe our luck. Thank you so much Joe Andy

We found Joe via a facebook recomendation. What a find he was. He did extensive welding on my son's car and got it through the MOT. He kept us informed, took photos and video to show progress. Very few words will do justice to the service and experience I had taking my car in to Crombey Street Garage. I walk past the garage almost daily on my way into town and when my car started squealing, I decided to look them up. I encountered nothing but 5 star reviews and I even managed to book my car in using the Google live chat feature. A first for me. The service itself was exceptional, Joe and his assistant are two of the friendliest people (let alone mechanics) I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They did no work to my car without confirming the costs with me first and there were no hidden fees and only exceptional workmanship and fair prices. To top it off I had to work until 6pm, by which time he had already gone home, but he came back to meet me just to give me my keys and hand the car over. Exceptional service from an exceptionally honest team. I can not praise them or their work highly enough.
