I first made contact with Steve and Barbara as I needed a specialist taxi company to bring members of T&W Parkinson's Support Group to meetings and wellbeing sessions. From the moment I explained the needs of people with Parkinson's they were understanding and compassionate. I had some members struggling to get to sessions either because they had no transport or were struggling with multiple buses. Driving Miss Daisy arrive promptly, escort the member to the taxi, ensure they have locked their property, make sure they are safe. If necessary help them into the vehicle and ensure they enter the venue safely. I feel much happier that members are safe and looked after door to door. Steve and Barbara have been very accomodating if unforeseen cancellations have occurred. Feedback from members has been unreservedly positive and I'm hopeful that more slots might become available. I'm so glad I found Driving Miss Daisy, a really caring company who I have no problem recommending especially if specialist needs are required.

Steve and has team have transformed the outlook and wellbeing of my mother, who has mobility issues that have previously prevented her from travelling. They now pick her up for a range of medical appointments or local shopping trips, and this has given her back a great deal of independence. I booked Driving Miss Daisy to take my mom to the Shrewsbury Eye hospital last month. When I contacted Steve he was abroad on holiday, but managed to book me in. Because I live in Cambridgeshire I thought it would be a good idea to use Steve, mom's unsteady on her feet so going in a wheelchair seemed sensible. When I arrived I found mom sat in the wheelchair, with a badly bruised ankle, due to a fall earlier that morning. She was adament she was going for the appointment. Steve was excellent with the situation, ensuring mom was moved into the taxi with the minimum of fuss, explaining everything as mom is virtually blind. Travel to the hospital was carried out very sedately, as was the journey back home. We had decided to go direct to Telford A&E, but mom declined the offer as she was too tired. Steve and I decided we would take her the following day, again Steve was able to fit us into his busy schedule, this time with one of his colleagues, Sarah, who was equally professional, even to the point of telling me off for my mishandling of the wheelchair. I cannot thank Steve enough, I have booked him for the return journey to the Shrewsbury hospital in August. This company comes highly recommended by me and my 90 year old mom. Afterwards Steve sent a couple of messages to see how mom was, even offering to work out of his normal work hours to take us back from A&E, sadly mom was kept in so that offer was not taken up. Thank you all for the service provided, professional, polite and understanding of the passengers needs.

My first experience of using this service and the whole experience was absolutely excellent! If I could rate it better than 5* I certainly would. Steve was very pleasant and professional which made me feel very safe and at ease. When my hospital appointment was finished it was Barbara, Steve's wife that picked us up, what a lovely professional lady she is too! I have been using Miss Daisy for a few months now to provide transport for my 8 year old son from his childminders to my mum's whilst I am at work as my mum does not drive. Initially I was worried about the idea of my 8 year old travelling alone, it's a big thing to do at such a young age, and my son is also quite shy. I found Miss Daisy following a recommendation from a friend, from the initial contact Steve was helpful and professional. We arranged a meeting before making any decisions, allowing myself, my son and my mum to meet him. At the meeting Steve explained everything about how the service operates, showed my son around the car, and put our minds at rest, with no pressure. We also put safety passwords in place for additional peace of mind. From the first journey my son felt relaxed and safe and now looks forward to travelling with Miss Daisy, especially when Barbara is on as he enjoys chatting about common interests they have :) Another bonus is being invoiced monthly so I don't have to worry about leaving cash with my son for each journey. The friendliness, professionalism, and safe practice of the staff is exceptional. Always on time, with excellent communication. If it wasn't for such an excellent service I would really struggle to manage working and childcare. I would have no hesitation in recommending Miss Daisy to anyone who requires a safe and friendly transport service.

Steve Barbara and Sarah have been utterly fantastic for the past one and a half years my mother has been using them. Since surgery my mother has had mobility issues as well as living with cognitive impairment they have been respectful, funny, helpful and completely trustworthy and reliable. I honestly don't know how we coped before meeting Steve and the team but I cannot now imagine our lives without them. Thank you to the Driving Miss Daisy team who have supported my mum Betty. Steve, Barbara and Sarah make my mum's eyes light up when she sees them at the door. Mum has Dementia and so easily could become isolated. So far they have taken mum to day care, and . Drs visit with a cheery word . Drving Miss Daisy has also taken myself and my sister to various appointments. Prior to commencing the service Steve came to our home and explained how the company ran. As with all companies 24 hours is needed to cancel arrangements which we as a family agree with.. We were also given a quote for the journeys travelled and when invoices would be sent out. We have used their service for a few years and will continue to do so. We find Driving Miss Daisy Team to be outstanding in thir service to vunerable people and their families Steve and the team all have enhanced DBS checks. We feel safe and the joy and laughter that comes from the car when mum returns lighten our hearts. Liz Winder

I would just like to say a big thank you to Sarah who picked my mum up from her care home and brought her to my house as a birthday surprise. After Steve had kindly taken time to visit cartlidge, it allowed my mum some independence and it was so easy to do. Sarah had a step to help mum out of car..took her to my door and on return journey came to my door and made sure mum made it to her car safely. This is such an important service and I would highly recommend. I know my mum would happily use again and I'm happy she's travelling in safety Thank you so much driving miss daiay6
