I booked a very early morning trip to the airport via the app and found the pre booking system and fixed price to be great. Once booked I was a bit confused as it was showing a different time on my pre booking tab (which maybe was the arrival time...?) so I called customer service to confirm the time of pick up and spoke to a man rather unpleasant. he confirmed my booking which is what I needed. The pending debit on my bank app was not matching the fixed price but I was deducted the correct amount in the end. The taxi was on time, driver was ok but didn't come out to help with my bag which I found a bit unhelpful but i guess for the price I paid thats ok. Trip went well, car was clean. No hidden cost, will likely re use Amber's

Were visiting from Leeds at mercure hotel in Watford, found the number from website, taxi arrived quickly and the driver absolutely kind and polite. Taxi fare was reasonable as well. Highly recommend

Great local cab company collected us at 0230 and was 5 mins early fantastic. Dropped us at Luton Airport hassle free £44 it now cheaper and less hassle to get a cab then park a car and have a bus transfer at Luton Airport.

I have worked out how to use the app and overall its a good service, they keep you informed where they are via the app and what vehicle is coming to collect you. I have a car but due to my disability I sometimes opt for a cab.

Much cheaper than other operators in the locality and reliable. Often I find some taxi's take you around the houses a bit, or slow down unnecessarily at traffic lights as they turn red when they could of easily have of made it on green. Amber cars just get you home without messing around.

Every single driver has always made sure I get home ok. Most wait until I've got in the front door also which I really appreciate! The rates are always far cheaper than any of the 'app based' services such as Uber and bolt and they are far safer. I know when I get in an amber cab I will get home safely and unharmed, something I definitely cannot say about Uber. I would highly recommend this company as a whole, certainly as a woman. *To Amber - thank you so much for making me feel safe in a cab again, and for always looking after myself and my family!xx

We needed a vehicle to take 6 of us to Stansted for 4am. We wanted our grandson to travel in his car seat and other firms didn't know if their vehicles had ISOFIX with top tether. Amber went out of their way to help and actually sent their vehicle to our house a few days ago so that we could check that the seat would fit. This morning they picked us up on time and the driver couldn't have been more helpful. Very impressed by this company and will use again

This is honestly the best driver / taxi service I have experienced anywhere. I fully recommend them, especially if you are visiting the Harry Potter Experience. I used them 3 times during our stay - the drivers were on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and happy to help. The dispatch centre was cheerful and courteous. A million times better than the general taxi service from the train station which took us to the wrong hotel after wasting time on the meter googling the address I gave him! Go with Amber and you can't go wrong.

When I phoned for a cab, the guy on the phone was rude and lacked manners. The people who take the calls need to learn customer service skills and manners. Cab driver was lovely though and arrived quickly. His card machine didn’t work though so had to borrow cash when I got to my destination. I might use this company again but they won’t be my first choice.

Used Amber for years and they are the best by a long shot ! Always available, always polite drivers and most of all a great price ... I've always recommended to friends with only prays from them ... even Airport drop offs/ pick ups are the best priced out of all the local companies... and as always been bang on time with drop offs and pick ups ! We had a really brilliant and understanding taxi driver who gave us a very substantial discount after we ran into closed roads that doubled the cost of our journey to avoid. Even after my friend spilled a drink, he was understanding and happy to let me go into my house in order to grab some toilet paper to clean it up, still not adding any extra cost. My taxi experience was good. Mainly because the taxi driver was awesome. His name was Shaquil, (not sure how to spell it) but he was cool. 5 star ratings to the cab company because of him. :)
