G. H.last night i got a taxi back from a house party and while in the car i asked the driver if he could drop me somewhere else i could get food then i'd walk the rest of the way. The driver (Nick i believe) said he'd rather not leave me so far from my house and took me to a different take away, waited and stopped charging while I got food and then took me home. It was so nice to have a driver that cared more about getting people home safely rather than the cash in their pocket

B. W.659659 in York are by far the best. I have used them for years and year - never looked elsewhere. The phone office are always courteous and kind and the drivers are almost always friendly and chatty (you get the odd "quiet" driver but do tell me what firm doesn't have those! Plus, every now and then it's nice to sit and be quiet!). The fares have always been reasonable compared to others and I'd say out of the taxis I've booked, 99% have turned up either early or on time... there has only been the odd rare occasion where one is late but that is usually down to traffic or RTI's so out of their control anyway. They always take me and my dog (as long as I specify when I book the taxi I have a dog so they can send someone who doesn't mind dogs) and are always brilliant with him (he's a small nervous dog!). Really cannot rate them high enough!

I rang 659 and the lasses on phone where so lovely and caring. They asked for payment upfront which i didnt mind at all and the taxi was there within 25 mins. r. l.Was told they were most expensive in york. Used them because of there quick response. Then after they took me to my destination, they were cheaper than others by a considerable margin. Also no extras on racedays or bank holidays. Great service and very affordable in these hard times.

J. F.Whenever I visit York (which is my original home-town) and I need a taxi I always book 659. The lady on the reception is always pleasant and friendly. They send you a text to say your car is on it's way so you know exactly how things are going. Myself, and friends from Leeds were going to see Rod Stewart at the Knavesmire yesterday and I knew the traffic and congestion would be a nightmare and after a recent knee replacement I couldn't manage to walk there from town. Despite the horrendously busy situation before and after the concert our drivers turned up as arranged and got us to our destination in a timrly manner. My friends had to catch their train back to Leeds afterwards and I was being collected from the Rail Station (as tgere were no later trains to Scarborough at that time). So, thank you, once again, for the excellent and reliable service - it certainly made a hectic schedule bearable and stress-free. Brilliant! 🌞
