The valve spots lining up, the fact they bothered to put the balancing weights on the back and not the front of my freshly painted wheels. Shows there is some thought and care. A. C.I've been going to Coombe Garage Tyres for years - I'd agree with all the other positive reviews.
The one thing I dislike which I’d like feedback to the owners of the Group is why customers are routinely asked for personal information – tel number , email, home address etc? It wasn’t a problem when I refused this information but I felt I was being awkward.
What is this data used for and how is archived / secured, how long is it kept, is it sold on?
I think too many businesses now ask for information that they don’t need and customers ought to be aware of the risks of giving away too much personal data.
Could an alternative be to introduce a loyalty card – customers could register and provide all the personal info requested, and their loyalty could attract a nominal discount.

Just wanted to add more positive feedback. My daughters VW Polo needed a new exhaust. Having discussed with Tom on the phone he explained he needed to see it before quoting. Wife and daughter took it down - Tom couldn't have been more helpful or professional. We only needed a mid section. Pointed out a few more things we needed to be aware of in the near future but no pressure to do unnecessary work. Happy with the price and very impressed with the service - what I'd call 'Old fashioned service' ( honestly and respect ) really does make a difference. Five stars plus to Tom, and a thank you.

H.I give 5 stars because I have used this tyre company 3 times and every time they have been brilliant good friendly service and over a year ago I found a nail in my back tyre so bought a tyre and when they checked it out the nail had done no damage so they said they would keep the tyre on the shelf for me, well I busted my tyre so need to get it done I phoned them and explained they had a tyre of mine and hay presto they did, they fitted it with no extra charge and being a female normally we get charged for breathing by garages but no charge. I will always use pro tyre and recommend them to others brilliant service

My the garage I normally use in Portishead just change the tyre and on your way.... However these guys changed the tyre did an inspection on the other 3, inspected the breaks and the suspension then gave me a printed report for all. All this at no extra cost to the tyre replacement. J. W.I visited (Nailsea) on Monday for a quote for a set of 5 tyres, including spare, for my motorhome. I was given a quote for budget, mid and premium ranges - the quote was fully inclusive of VAT, valves, fitting etc. I visited the depot again on Tuesday to place an order, the price was confirmed and I was told the tyres would be delivered to them the following morning and it was suggested I phone about 10.30 to check. On Wednesday I phoned as suggested and it was confirmed that they were in the depot and available for fitting. I drove to the depot and despite there being other customers having work done, my full set of tyres were fitted in a little over an hour. Whilst paying the fitters came into the office and told me what they had done. Carrie who gave the original quote gave first class service across all 3 days. This was my first time I had used the company, the price and service could not be faulted and I would not hesitate in recommending them or in using them again.

T. W.I cannot recommend Coombe Garage Tyres highly enough. Having used other garages within Nailsea for many years the nail in the coffin was an unbelievably high quote from Kwik Fit for brakes and Pads...I decided to shop around...thinking Coombe only did tyres they were last on my list. I found they actually offered all car services and to boot it was half the price of the quote I had received. Being well used to coming away feeling cheated from all my visits to other car garages I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised, they even offered us a courtesy car whilst the work was undertaken (completed within 2 hours of drop off). I have since been back twice with other vehicles and found the service to be of the same high standard every time. Highly Recommend!! - thanks to Tom and all the team.

Best of all they're come over as honest. They have occasionally said that there was more wear on a tyre without any compromise to safety.

I have used Coombe for many years although this was the first time since the Pro Tyre involvement. No problems.
M. C.I called in, un-announced/with no booking, with my Father-in-law's car, the day after bank holiday Monday, with a violent vibration running through the entire car. I did not want my in-laws to travel back to London (on the motorway) in such condition, however old their car. The (old) state of the car was not an insurmountable issue and I felt that my needs were totally understood with the minimum of comment. The car was seen promptly and a bulge detected in a front tyre which was repaced at a (good) budget price, and the immediate problem(s) resolved. I returned home within two hours of my arrival, with a car that was confirmed as safe for my in-laws to drive home to London.

M. W.Popped in to see them this afternoon as for some time now I've had a seriously slow leak on one of my front tyres. Within minutes they'd found a small tear on the rear wall of the tyre & a slight dent in the back of my alloy probably due to the thousands of potholes around Bristol ! The car has been through an MOT in July so why it wasn't noticed then god only knows but these guys showed it to me & then very promptly fitted a new tyre. You get a choice of budget, medium or premier, if you need a name on your tyre, & then undoubtedly numerous choices as to what is your actual preference along with the price. These guys are seriously good at what they do & what they offer & I would recommend them to everyone. There may be slightly cheaper outlets around, & they will be only slightly cheaper, but these people give you explanations as to why you need whatever it is & then it's totally your choice. I will certainly use them again.
