After reading so many great reviews, I thought I might as well take advantage of their offer for free tyre checks/advice and I'm so glad I did. I am absolutely blown away by how humble, kind and genuine they are and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitating. I came away more knowledgeable and happy knowing this place exists. Despite them being a 30+ minute drive away from me, I now wouldn't choose anywhere else for tyre services

Used these guys twice and both times have been very honest while doing an excellent job. Repaired the tyres rather than lobbing brand new ones on as plenty of tread left on them still. Also nice to see them torquing the wheels up by hand properly. Unlike many other garages that whizz them up with the impact and being impossible to undo by hand at the side of the road!

What quality service. Was let down at 16:45 by a bigger supplier and needed 2 tyres ASAP. Done a quick search and found Downside Tyres. Was apprehensive as I’d not seen them before...until I spoke with them. I have 315/35/20 tyres and was told by many it would take a couple of days. These guys promised first thing and they were not wrong... 07:55 they were on the phone as they had arrived. The service just got even better from there. Waiting for me, kept a slot open, great welcome and coffee (bonus!) and fitted. They have a lot of equipment some of the bigger ones don’t. I have now found my new tyre supplier!
