Very good and supportive staff. But its take almost two hours to change 2tyres possibly they may be very busy. Arrived at 10.10 for my 10.30 appointment everything finished at12.30. Ordered a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics for my Audi A5 from the Protyre website and had them installed here. The chap that did the work was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a lovely Audi himself. They didn't mark the wheels at all and provided very good all round service. Will definitely be using again. All tyres carried dot codes less than 2 weeks old too, which is excellent.

The place if you want tyres and do a great job with motorcycle tyres, they even have a technician who is capable of working with wheels in the bike(rare) obviously a lot easier carrying loose wheels in for quick changes though 👍👍👍

Got my tyres changed recently along with a free brake check. The service was excellent. I received honest advise regarding the brakes. I was worried that maybe I needed to change my brake pads but was assured that they can last another 6 to 7 thousand miles. Similarly one of my tyres had still 5mm tread on it and was told that I can use that as a spare tyre rather than throwing it away. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reliable service within the Bristol area. Based on my experience I have booked my MOT to be done by them as well now.

What an exceptional place, I was recommended taking our Saab 95 for wheel alignment. The wheels were every which way but straight. But as advised when working on the wheels the bolts can snap, sure enough ours did but also at the same time one of the rear track control arms snapped. As a result parts had to be ordered, delays obviously, then when ready ensured our car was a priority. The result an absolute dream of a drive. Thank you guys for you professionalism and support.

Visited this garage after a previous company had already scratched my alloys and was nervous about this happening again. I explained what had happened and the guys at Protyre explained the process they use and reassured me they would hake care of my car. Can't fault their customer service and the extra mile they went to.

Protye were very speedy and flexbile about fitting me in as I had left my MOT repairs to pretty much the last minute. They were very professional and helpful throughout, even when they were fixing a mistake I made during my own DIY repairs. As I do some DIY, I don't really know the price of mechanic labour so can't say much beyond their labour&equipment rates seem reasonable. The amount they charge for their parts (in this case, 2xwheel, lower wheel arm) is affordable - I probably could have shaved off £10 or so by sourcing my own parts on Ebay, but paying the little extra is worth the convenience and comfort of knowing that I've actually got the right part.

I left my car overnight in their carpark because I didn't want my tyre to go completely flat during the night. My friend went over early next day to sort out the repair to my tyre and they were really helpful and only charged £26!!

Been here for tyres and tracking twice now and had a good experience on both occasions. Had some seized on wheels which they cleaned up for free and honest about wheel alignment. It’s a first come first serve basis so saturdays can be a long wait but it is what it is.

Your never easy when having motorcycle tyres changed, with only two wheels as a footprint, but wow Rob at Protyre Lawrence Hill, was fantastic and can't rate him high enough. Had a problem with my cars suspension which they managed to look at with short notice and managed to find the problem within a few hours. As my car had a third party warranty the were happy to help me with the claims process. I received excellent service throughout and would highly recommend them.

I went to Protyre to have 4 x dunlop eagle f1 asymmetric 3's fitted to brand new alloy wheels. I wanted to go somewhere where I knew they wouldn't damage the wheels and somewhere that offered a four wheel laser alignment. The whole service from start to finish was absolutely awesome! They advised on all sorts of things I hadn't even considered and even took the time to explain the alignment sheet and how they had set up my alignment according to the weight I will be carrying in the van. The price was very good, but more importantly the job was done properly!

I usually go to a regular tyre supplier who unfortunately had none available. So i rang around for a few quotes When i contacted pro tyre They thankfully agreed to match price to my regular supplier. On arriving at first they couldn't locate me after i gave them my name, the person i spoke to over the phone eventually appeared and told the other customer service individual. I then told them i need to pop out a second i came back and about to pay they informed me the cost was double. I asked why apparently they ask a different customer as he also had a Honda which needed tyres to be replaced. I strongly believed this was them trying to make me pay more. Especially as i already made them price match. So i refused and asked them to replace the second tyre the took off without my agreement. It may have been an honest mistake but i don't believe it was.

Purchased 4 tyres online on a Sunday and was surprised the could be fitted the following day. The tyres were fitted and tracking carried out. However they had a small problem in removing one of the tyres and slightly damaged one of the wheels, they immediately brought this to my attention as said they would get it repaired. I thought this was very honest because they could have put this on the spare and I would have been none the wiser. Had a call a couple of days later to say the wheel was back, which was promptly fitted without any fuss

Protyre did my 4 wheel alignment after getting new coilovers, control arm bushings and trackrod ends. They did a good job with camber adjustment and toe put to spec and after 3 weeks / 500 miles they saw it again to check it after the new parts had bedded in, top lads.

I had an emergency with my motorbike's tyres on Saturday 6th April and I ended up at Protyre in Bristol. From the moment I got there until I left with a new set of tyres, everything went great. Ben took the time to answer all my questions during the process of changing the tyres, explained all sorts of technical aspects that I asked about and I really appreciated his patience. He was very friendly, just like the rest of the staff, and that made me feel welcome, even if I am fully aware of how much I can talk... which we all know is exhausting for everyone. :) At the end, I've been advised by Ben to be careful while riding, as the tyres will be slippery for a while. Overall, a very good experience, therefore, I strongly recommend Protyre to anyone. Thanks to them, I got back to London safe and sound. :) Cheers, guys!

Very good experience having rear tyre fitted to my motorbike. Knowledgeable and friendly fitter who is also a biker (instills confidence). Fitted while my partner and I went for a nearby Wetherspoon's breakfast. Whole event only mildly spoilt by indifferent and uninterested salesman on desk, but at least he charged a very reasonable price.

I have been using Protyre for my tyres for around 20 years, even though I have moved away from the area. I trust them to give me good advice eg when the tyre needs changing, and they have always been superb in terms of service and price.

Added an extra £15 labour charge because they "had to drop the exhaust". Having taken the rear wheel off before to change sprockets, I know that is complete nonsense. Buy the tyre yourself online and take it to a bike garage that doesn't sell tyres.

Went there today after buying a 2nd-hand car and finding the steering was acting strange (already had the tracking checked). These guys had a look at the car and found the wishbone bolt had snapped into the subframe but this had been covered up and spot welded to pass the MOT so the car was unsafe to drive. The manager gave us all a lift home (3 kids as well) then found a subframe in Birmingham and they're fitting it tomorrow at a fraction of the normal cost. A very big thank you to you all, from us all in Knowle. Would recommend 100%.
