Changed my car to a Merc recently and following a discussion and informed advice from Brian about grip, road noise and wear etc., chose two new 'General' tyres to match the two front tyres already on. Certainly not a budget tyre but not as much as more well known makes which they could of sold me if they weren't the genuine and knowledgeable family firm that I've come to experience over the years.

I have been using this place for a few years and they are honest and reliable and always helpfull with what they can. Last week i went in for tracking and they found another 2 faults in my car which i have since got repaired and they did not charge me. Will be going back for tracking.

Amazing family run business, with friendly owners and staff, who are willing to help whatever the issue. Contrary to what you may read from some others on this site, they will not rip you off and frankly £20 for a tracking is at least half the price you could expect to pay at bigger chains. Some people just love to moan but I think you can see the good outweighs the bad. I would 100% return to this business and wouldn’t trust anybody else with my car.

Rang these guys up as I was having handling problems and severe tyre wear on tyres that were 6 weeks old. Was told if I went down there would put it on the ramp and have a look for me, they checked the tracking and found it was miles out after work that was done for the mot and I hadn't been advised to get it done. Wheels were swapped from back to front and tracking done and balanced. Excellent service and very well priced, will come back for my tyres in the future.

I must say we’ve always bought our tyres from city tyres, as always the most reasonable and the customer service is always first class. Brian and his team are kind, efficient and professional. I had two punctures weekend gone, both times Brian sent his fitter Phil, collected tyres and refitted them for me - an amazing service and a massive help for me as only have 1 car and have 3 small children so Brian understood and made me his priority - thank you so much guys!

This tyre garage in Riverside, Cardiff is by far the best place in the whole of the city to get your tyres from. The fitting is free & the service from the dedicated expert staff hi beyond being helpful ~ I went in to ask if they could source me a decent set of tyres for my Suzuki Bandit motorcycle some 17yrs ago & I've been buying my tyres from Carl & the boys ever since...most tyre garages won't touch motorcycles - forcing us bikers to have to use the overly expensive local rip-off motorcycle shops! BUT NOT HERE 😎 here they have the expertise & care to offer a motorcycle tyre fitting, balancing service AND then Carl(who's also a biker) will help you to refit the entire wheel back onto your bike😁 So not only will you receive the best tyres are an unbeatable price, but you'll also learn how to do it yourselves (should you ever need to) I got a set of f+r Avons for under £130 inc free fitting! No need to book, just turn up, you might have to wait about 15 mins but usually it's in & out - job done - happy wheels again. I've been riding motorcycles continuously since 1983 & know a good deal when I see one 😉

Wheel locking nut had sheered off and I was unable to remove the wheel, so I risked driving my car for one mile with a flat tyre (fear of damaging my alloy wheel) to City Tyre Services . Carl was outstanding and sorted it. We decided to change all the locking nuts, and fortunately for me that decision was done at the garage, as two more of the locking nuts sheered off. If it wasn't for such talented technicians I could have been caught out on the M4 or somewhere else. I used to by part worn tyres, but I can't praise these guys enough especially Carl.
