I went to National Tyres in Derby this morning with an urgent tyre problem. They got me in straight away, were very obliging and friendly, fixed the problem quickly and without any hassle, plus when I asked how much I owed they refused to take any payment ( I'm uncomfortable not paying for work done - it takes time and effort to do a job). So, I'm a very happy customer, would recommend them, and will return there in future if I have any more issues with my tyres.

Needed two tyres on a Mondeo, don't do the milage to warrant 'premium' tyres so had a look online. National were the best balance of price and quality by a long shot. Booked a time slot and payed online; although it gave me the option for mobile fitting (seems to depend on location) which is a great option. Both tyres were fitted in 15 minutes, yes there were two guys doing it but even so, that's fast. Everyone was polite, friendly and professional, excellent service, highly recommended. Extra points for putting the locking wheel nut key back in the right place, so many places just leave it on the seat or in the glovebox.

Went in as my car needed 2 new tyres and it was making a rattling noise from underneath, the lads got my car in fitted the new tyres that I selected, they also checked balancing on the other 2 tyres as there was wear issues with the front tyres, rear tyres was also out of balance so they rebalanced them, they checked the tracking and the tracking was way off so they reset the tracking within specified tolerances to stop future premature wear of the new tyres. The lads then got the car up on the ramps and gave it a thorough inspection and there was a stone stuck in the exhaust end chrome trim and they used some compressed air and the stone came out they also spotted that the engine undertray was just cable tied on so was also making noise, all the team and the management pulled out all the stops to sort the issues on my vehicle, fantastic service and great value, well done to the team.

I returned once again for an MOT and John was there. I was running a bit late for my appointment so waited a few minutes which was fine because John was busy. Came in the office got the key and told me it should take about 30. And as he predicted he was done just before the 30 minutes. He then explain to me the advisories and to keep an eye. Excellent service. Saw me same day and fixed it the next day as soon as they had the part. They showed far better knowledge than the 2 places I'd taken it before whom couldn't fix the problem. Happy with the quick service. A customer came in not wearing a mask and was more worried about a mask smudging her lipstick! In the workshop only some workers wearing face protection, workshop well ventilated but they still need to keep 2 meters apart when talking which unfortunately wasn’t happening.

I booked my tyres to be changed (all 4) and the service was great. No issues or hassle there. The guy who was working on the reception desk however left me wondering what they were thinking. I hate to be rude, but he looked scruffy, dirty (I appreciate he works in a garage, but he's the first impression, look the part!) and unfortunately his breath was a bit overwhelming. When I walked in he was on the phone and his familiarity gave me the impression it was someone he knew, rather than a customer and he kept me waiting while he chatted away, which annoyed me. Other than that he was friendly enough and the work was done quickly. The price of future services and repairs would probably dictate weather I return or not, but as far as impressions go, I wasn't left shouting from the rooftops about this place.

Brilliant customer service skills, rang up in the morning got an afternoon appointment needed a mot urgent not only did they do that i then decided on a last minute service and they fit me in. Overheard prices for other people needing work doing all sound very reasonable in price, mine was also a good price cheaper than expected. Had two front tyres replaced and tracking done which was fine BUT!!! I really don't understand why to carry out these simple tasks they felt the need to alter my climate control settings to maximum, alter my MMI screen and turn off my automatic headlights which potentially could have left me driving with no lights in the dark. I'd be interested if someone could tell me why they would do this.

Found the tyre I needed online and made a booking, haven’t been here before but they had a good offer on a tyre I needed so I gave it a try. They got my car straight in, took about 10 mins max and I was then on my way, fast, friendly and reliable. I will be back!

Did a good job at fitting four new tyres but after having them dome and balanced the steering wheel had a violent shake, had it balanced by them again 3times, we still had a violent shake on the steering wheel, they were really helpful in rectifying this and re balanced the car a different way and checked the suspension and it was then fixed.

Had to call into the Derby (pentagon Island ) branch this morning as the tyre pressure dropped on my 6 day old car, possibly a puncture, I pulled into National Tyres and was instantly looked after, my car was on a ramp in 2 minutes, a complete check of all of my tyres and pressures were re set, I was given a mini lesson on how to check them and reset them in the future, the guys in there a fabulous, I was on my way to work in no time at all , Thank you so much

Dunno?*** great deals of Internet. Got a slow puncture got a warrenty with original tyre purchase for free repair. They said tyre was no good. Price for new one was £102. Seems dear I said paid 130 for 2 tyres .arr... was that Internet price ? yes well it's 102 a tyre not on the Internet . Ended up paying 50 under warrenty for new tyre .don't know if I was done or not But yes to service via tyre shopper Internet. No to buying direct .
