I annoyingly scuffed my alloy quite bad on Weds and contacted Speedy's that night - owner responded immediately with a quote, even out of office hours.
Took my car in at 12.00 on Thurs. By 2pm - all done and great job at the alloy refurb. Well done team! I'll be back for sure.

I. A.Very fast fit, good job, after few months later, quality of tire is bad. Very noisy for beginning and a lithe discomfort on driving and handling, i was to fix my flat tire and here not fix hol on the tire they recommended me to buy anoter brand tire, or wait 5 days to bring another 1 for me, anyway i fix my self wit a kit from ebay. Never fit different brand tires on same axis, in special on traction axis. Any way on the futures i will buy only Europeans tire brand.
R. J. B.Just been today for a part worn tyre and to get a locking nut off. 30 min I was in and out really good even had a laugh with the staff. I don't think I would go any were else £60 if you tell them what you need and they will sort it speedy time😃👍

Was not my experience at all. I am from outside of Derby and was forced into a kerb in the morning which totally ruined my NSF alloy. I also had a small kerb rash on the OSF. I'd only just had new tyres fitted and had a slight vibration through the steering.
I rang round all the wheel refurbishment businesses in Derby. Only one could repair on the day. That was this one. Was also quoted the best price here.
After reading the reviews I was a little doubtful, but I took my vehicle to be inspected. Had a good chat with the owner and discussed what they did. He suggested a smart repair. A smart repair is a localised repair to the affected area.
One of the other quotes from a different business was for a total strip of the wheel. This was £120. So that's £240 for both wheels.
Speedys quoted £25 and £40 per rim. I negotiated the price to £50 including a wheel balance and left the vehicle. They said it would take 2 to 3 hours. As I was planning on going for a walk with my girlfriend, that's what I did and told them not to rush.
Literally about 100m down the main road there's a park leading to Derwent River.
So we had a lovely walk down the side of the Derwent River to Elvaston Castle and around the grounds. A total of about 12miles.
Returned about 4 hours later. Speedys were literally balancing the wheels. A weight was found to be missing from when we had the new tyres fitted elsewhere.
I was shown the repair and quite frankly couldn't see where it had been done. More than happy.
Was advised to not wash the wheels for a couple of weeks to allow the paint to properly cure. Today I cleaned and polished the whole car. You can see the results.
Speedys do all things wheels and tyres. They specialise in powder coatings. You can buy new wheels and tyres. I believe they also do part worn. They do balancing etc.
They have a display of some of the wheels they sell inside the shop. They also have another garage at a different location in Derby that do other repairs and MOTs.
The owner also quoted me for new tyres for when I needed them. I usually fit budget tyres and he was £7.50 less per tyre than I had just paid. Cheapest I've ever been quoted.
They are a local firm and I can't recommend them enough. I'll certainly be returning.

In fact the reason I returned to him was because the first time we popped in, despite what the maserati approved garage suggested that we 'could' change three of the tyres, Mani said only one needed changing.
