I bought a new tyre, online, to have it fitted in Ratcliffe Terrace Edinburgh, after a blow out on the M6, due to a disturbed catseye. I went a few days early to see about the TPMS sensor, which I found I had. They took of the tyre to expose adamaged sensor. I purchased one from Ford for them to fit. In all a very good, knowledgeable bunch and only too happy to help. FULL MARKS & Thank You!

Tuesday morning & got a slow puncture. NT just along road & Ryan couldn’t be more helpful in assisting with help choosing tyres to booking me in within the hour for the fitting & I was mobile again with great tyres & price too match. Never used National before now but already ordered 2 rears which get delivered today & will definitely come back again. Good service , very accommodating , quality tyres at great prices. Thanks guys. I needed a puncture repair urgently on a Sunday morning so I pitched up without a booking at 10am for them opening. I was taken immediately and a new tyre fitted and I was back on the road in 15 minutes. The mechanic was very pleasant and helpful, he clearly explained the various prices with no hard sell. I was delighted with the service and would definitely use again despite there being a repair centre closer to my home.

Staff friendly and helpful. Ordered the tyres and tracking adjustment online, turned up at the alloted time - they were waiting for me. Two tyres and tracking all done in under an hour - compared with another company that claims to be quick, knocked the socks of them. Prices were competitive with the likes of black circles. Outstanding service. Another branch had failed to balance wheel correctly thus causing a strong vibration before I set off on a very long journey. Despite being busy they fitted me in and solved the problem ... they balanced the wheel again and the vibration disappeared. They followed this with further good advice about a buckle issue.

Unfortunately tyre could not be repaired but got me matching tyre by next morning. Kept old tyre for me to see damage done in what seemed easily repairable. Very helpful. Non touch google pay.

Turned up at my allotted appointment time to find out half the staff had phoned in sick and they were heaving. Came back 2 days later on a quiet Sunday morning and was seen straight away. Pleased to note no damage to the very easily damaged alloys and they kindly rotated the rears to the front for me for free. Best of all is the brilliant "pay over 3 months" scheme they have. Was a doddle to apply for online and really took the sting out of the otherwise horrifically expensive Run Flat tyres my car needs. Will definitely use these guys again.

Hello. I've written separately to the board of directors regarding my experience of this branch. This branch of National Tyres and Autocare can only be rated 100% . . . ( if higher could be rated then fantastic ). On Tuesday 11th August and two days into our seven day tour of Scotland, we pulled into this branch. I was concerned that I could hear a bearing sort of sound coming from the wheels. I wasn't quite sure what or where the noise was coming from. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted and after initial chat, we were directed into the waiting area. The technician then pulled the car onto a ramp and I could see a stringent test and view of each of the road wheels and the underneath of our car. The technician then performed a short road test of the car then returned very shortly afterwards. The technician then informed me that he believed that the rear drivers side wheel bearing was at fault, yet regretfully he couldn't supply / fit the part at that time. He did advise that the car did appear safe to drive at that stage though could place no form of guarantee for how long. The technician also advised me that in approximately 6-9000 miles, a tyre was likely to need changing. The fabulous thing here was that there was no form of heavy sell up or advising of additional or unneccesary work. National Tyres and Autocare can claim 100% integrity in this. We left the garage to continue from Edinburgh to Oban, Oban to Drymen, Drymen to Glasgow, Glasgow to Edinburgh, then Edinburgh back to our home 180 miles away. The car is now booked in to a local garage for both rear brake discs ( these cars have both brake discs and rear wheel bearings comined ). A huge thanks to this wonderful Tech and indeed this branch - He allowed us to continue our tour with confidence !

Very happy with my unplanned visit. Got a slow leak while travelling to Edinburgh. Called first thing Monday and I was only waiting 20 minutes to get it looked at. Had to order in a special tyre which came around lunch time. They even gave me all the bus details to get into and out of town, plus broke my note for exact change for the bus. To be honest the best service I have ever had at a mechanics. They were very professional to all the other customers who came in while I was waiting.
