Meant to write this a while ago , had my passats wheels refurbished by Jamie a few months ago. He got the colour spot on in gunmetal grey and they made the old passat look a bit sharper. Would recommend to anyone and the forecourt was always full when I was there which can only be a good sign.

Huge thanks to the team at Gorbals Tyre Centre for your service today! Having put off replacing my tyres for a while, i visited today after a number of recommendations from colleagues at work. I was advised that all 4 Tyres could do with replacing but that my back 2 would be okay for another month which for me financially was a huge relief, thank you for the honesty as I’m sure plenty of places would just try and get the money for all 4! My car was sorted with 2 tyres as well as alignment. Not only that, but when my car wouldn't start, the team helped get it started again! First Class service. I use Jamie for any of my cars requiring new tyres or Alloy Wheel Refurbishment. Quick turnover and nothing is ever a hassle for him. Goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is always happy. Very reasonably priced. A few larger companies could learn a thing or two from the way he runs his business. I sent a friend recently for new tyres, which Jamie had ordered in especially for her after she seen she had advisories on her MOT for x2 tyres. Jamie looked at the car in person and advised her that there was no need to change them at this time as they had plenty life left in them. Incredible honesty often unseen in this day and age. I wouldn't use anyone else but GTC and highly recommend Jamie's business to everyone requiring tyres or Alloy Wheel Refurbishment.

I highly recommend Gorbals Tyre Centre! I had been to another garage 10+ times, as my tyre pressure light was continuously coming on every few days. It even got to the point that I replaced a few of the tyres, but the problem persisted. I was then told that the problem must be the wheel and that I would need to purchase a new one. Jamie at Gorbals Tyre Centre provided a first class service. He inspected the wheel, confirmed that a new wheel wouldn’t be required. He buffed and resealed the tyre. He was also mindful that I had been messed around by the other garage and kept the cost to a minimum. He was professional, friendly and even provided some banter. What more can you ask for? Thanks again, Jamie! Keep up the good work!

My stepson was massively let down by the RAC when he hit a pothole and developed a puncture in Kilmarnock. He got home but the car did not and they thought it was a good idea to dump it in the car park at Tesco at Silverburn. After messaging around for a tyre , GTC got back to me in quick time even though it was a Sunday and closed, After a brief online chat I was sorted and also found it was the cheapest supplied and fitted tyre in glasgow, I saved over £30 from previously replacement tyres and even when I dropped it off on the Tuesday and couldn't make it back until the Saturday I was told it was OK to leave it and pick it up on Saturday. Overall a 5 star rating 110/100 and I will definitely be using GTC in the future and highly recommend anybody needing their services to contact GTC. Thank you GTC

Was informed by another garage that my wheel was buckled,took it to GTC to be repaired. Jamie informed me that the wheel was fine, was balanced incorrectly, he balanced all 4 of my wheels there and then. After picking my car up i noticed my locking key had a GTC branded bag to live in, an airfreshner and a new keyring, which i thought were nice little touches. 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

Dropped in on Monday morning needing two new tyres for a drive to Dover. Tyres changed in under an hour and at less than the price quoted on the phone. When I contacted GTC Jamie told me to pop in when I have time and he will give my tyres a free check. I went back a few months later, he managed to squeeze me in for a new tyre. It was done within 15 minutes, superb thanks Jamie! I also got 15% discount as I'm a staff nurse with the NHS and off course every little helps. You feel more safe when someone has a check at you're tyres, I don't have much experience or knowledge on them. If it wasn't for Jamie telling me to come back in a few months as one of my tyres tread was low I would probably have left it until my MOT. Thanks again, will be back!
