Brilliant service here today. I called last minute looking for a replacement tyre and they were closing up for the day but stayed open until I arrived. My tyre was changed within 10-15 minutes and the guy who did it was very polite and the price was more than fair! I would definitely recommend coming here again! My stepson was massively let down by the RAC when he hit a pothole and developed a puncture in Kilmarnock. He got home but the car did not and they thought it was a good idea to dump it in the car park at Tesco at Silverburn. After tracking it down some 48 hours after the incident I phoned Gorbals Tyre Centre and my stepson was back on the road within about 50 minutes from first call. Fantastic, no fuss service with a couple of text updates to keep us reassured while we waited and completed after knocking off time. How business should be conducted. Jamie - you are a star. Huge thanks to the team at Gorbals Tyre Centre for your service today! Having put off replacing my tyres for a while, i visited today after a number of recommendations from colleagues at work. I highly recommend Gorbals Tyre Centre! I had been to another garage 10+ times, as my tyre pressure light was continuously coming on every few days. It even got to the point that I replaced a few of the tyres, but the problem persisted. I was then told that the problem must be the wheel and that I would need to purchase a new one. Jamie at Gorbals Tyre Centre provided a first class service. He inspected the wheel, confirmed that a new wheel wouldn’t be required. He buffed and resealed the tyre. He was also mindful that I had been messed around by the other garage and kept the cost to a minimum. He was professional, friendly and even provided some banter. What more can you ask for? Can’t recommend enough. Showed up thinking I needed 1 tyre replaced turned out it was 3 but the guy got to it straight away and was so fast. There was also a problem I was falsely quoted £200/£300 for n the guy sorted it there and then. Honest, genuine people and really friendly. Caught short yesterday with a burst tyre called the Gorbals tyre centre and they squeezed me in 20 minutes before closing, ended up getting two tyres but never felt rushed to leave. After messaging around for a tyre , GTC got back to me in quick time even though it was a Sunday and closed, After a brief online chat I was sorted and also found it was the cheapest supplied and fitted tyre in glasgow, I saved over £30 from previously replacement tyres and even when I dropped it off on the Tuesday and couldn't make it back until the Saturday I was told it was OK to leave it and pick it up on Saturday. Was informed by another garage that my wheel was buckled,took it to GTC to be repaired. Jamie informed me that the wheel was fine, was balanced incorrectly, he balanced all 4 of my wheels there and then. When I contacted GTC Jamie told me to pop in when I have time and he will give my tyres a free check. I went back a few months later, he managed to squeeze me in for a new tyre. You feel more safe when someone has a check at you're tyres, I don't have much experience or knowledge on them. Goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is always happy. Very reasonably priced. A few larger companies could learn a thing or two from the way he runs his business. I sent a friend recently for new tyres, which Jamie had ordered in especially for her after she seen she had advisories on her MOT for x2 tyres. Jamie looked at the car in person and advised her that there was no need to change them at this time as they had plenty life left in them. Incredible honesty often unseen in this day and age.
