W.I quite like Kwik Fit , usually a fast reliable service, but this branch in Pollokshaws Road did give me a little bit of the hard sell wanting me to purchase Michelin tyres, but at £120 a tyre a tad expensive, and anyway aren't Michelin closing their factory in Dundee . They also described my old tyres as cheap. Yes cheap but perfectly fine despite being 2 years old, the puncture being the only problem.

T.Really fabulous service from the team here late in the day on 30 Dec 21 to save our New Year. With a 200 mile drive ahead of us, one of our headlamps failed. The team were excellent, fitting us in to change the lamp, with literally a few mins advance notice, and in amongst all their other jobs. Allowed us to get on our way and make our New Years destination. Brilliant customer service.

D. O.I need my car for work and regularly travel long distances. I had just come back from some site work and realised my break light was broken. I called this garage and was told to bring it straight down there and then and they'd sort it. I had it at the garage in 10 minutes and the mechanic (Danny, I think, though he was that fast I may have forgotten) got right to it - had me drive in, test the lights, then had me stay put while he quickly replaced it. I can only compare it to like being in a pit stop. He was super quick, he was super nice, and I'll be back for sure :)

s. m.I went into this Kwik Fit at 3pm on a saturday afternoon to get my front tyres checked as the tread was getting very low .I was fully expecting to be booked in the following week as they were busy and it is a motability car, but no,I was told they could fit me in at 4pm even though they were closing at 5pm. They also offered to do my tracking and replaced a back tyre which had been badly repaired by a backstreet garage the week before when i was desperate.I cannot thank Leo,the assistant manager enough for his excellent customer service,this guy will go far in life with his amazing attitude.I also want to thank Ryan who fitted my tyres and did a superb job. As he left at the end of his shift he stopped in the office to say hello before he went home.Life is all about going the extra mile and you guys have cracked it.Well done from a very grateful customer! N. A.I was panicking today as I had a puncture and I am off on Holiday tomorrow. I tried the two nearest Kwik Fit sites to my home without success, then managed to get an appointment at Pollokshaws Road.
The service given by both John, the Manager and Josh, the Assistent Manager was of the highest level. I also used the customer toilet and was very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and condition of same.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this branch to everyone.

E. B.Took my car in to this garage, to check if I had a puncture. I’d had it checked the week before (elsewhere), and had been assured everything was fine, but pressure alarm kept going off.
Found staff very helpful here, and they were quickly able to find that I did have a puncture after all. Unfortunately, it meant I had to buy a new tyre, because of where puncture was, but I was able to get the new tyre fitted the following day, with no problems.
I’d happily use again.

G. B.I had an emergency with the tyre pressure in my Audi S3, midday yesterday. Having popped to my nearest kwik fit garage to find them fully booked, I called the branch on Pollokshaws Road. The manager John told me to bring the car over and he'd look it over, as soon as he could. I left my car with him. John called me a couple of hours later, while my car was on the ramp. He was slightly puzzled about the rear passenger tyre and asked if I'd recently had work done - I had, a simple alloy refurbishment. I returned to see John and he showed me the issue - bubbling on the tyre itself, and when spray was applied, there was air coming from somewhere. John explained it could be from one of two reasons 1) the tyre was nicked when the alloy work was carried out or 2) some of the alloy paint hadn't been properly cleaned off and the tyre was not fitted flush the alloy. After several calls to the Audi garage that dealt with the alloy, they eventually told me to bring the car back to them for a look. I did that. Audi checked it all over and 'apparently' found some dirt between the alloy and the tyre. Anyway, they fixed it right up, checked all tyre pressures and I was good to go. Upon driving home, you've got it, my pressure warning light came back on!! To cut an already long story short, my car had to be collected by Audi this morning and would you believe it......the tyre has a nick in it!! Audi currently refunding my alloy work and replacing my tyre!
The point with this review is to say how helpful John was! He didn't take a penny from me for his time or efforts. I have sometimes been quick to judge kwik fit garages in years gone by but I would like to note, for the record, that I will not hesitate to return to John. He was knowledgeable, professional and did not try to cease on an opportunity for a quick buck. Top class service! Very much appreciated. Customer service isn't always as good as it should be but John was spot on.
G. B.Date: Saturday 29/05/21. We had realised a piece of covering was loose to the undercarriage of the car. Luckily we were close to the Kwikfit Pollokshaws Road at the time and the mechanic kindly had a look and fixed it for us within half an hour. My complaint was dealt with by the manager Brian who apologised for my inconvenience and offered a discount on my next visit. Z. A.2 very good experiences here. The first one was for a simple oil and filter change and the guys were absolutely fantastic and did everything at a reasonable place.
The second time I had an issue where a piece of metal had got stuck in the under tray and was rattling and scraping for which they very kindly jacked up my car and removed it.
Top guys and would highly recommend them!

M.Needed a specific tyre which they didn't have in stock but the fitter ordered the tyre but as it was so late and they were about to close he wasn't sure the tyre would arrive on time for me as it was a hired car and the car had to be returned before 4:30pm or i would be charged another days hire. Gladly the tyre arrived early the next day and was changed fitted and balanced with plenty of time to spare and for that i was very greatful and I would recommend Kwick Fit to anyone cheers guys. 😃😃😃

I phoned these guys and in 15 minutes the manager came to check on my car and was able to move it to the garage. In 2 days I will have my car fixed at a very reasonable price. I'm a nurse working in the community setting and got a puncture at tea time on a busy, wet dark Friday evening and was due to work all weekend. A few places said they were too busy but Brian and the team got the car back on the road despite being very busy themselves. I cannot say how much I appreciated their help and the enormous hassle it saved for the whole nursing team !! 10/10

N. K.I seriously can't rate the guys at Kwik fit on pollockshaws Road highly enough (national chain but local right?). Booked a service online (for today) however it shouldn't have been allowed through online because the supply chain is generally closed.
As my service was really close to being due and I'm travelling an excessive amount of miles this month for work they have taken the time and effort to do it. (I think hoping that it didn't need any particular work done or we would have been stuffed!).
I have used other garages on 3 occassions and always ended up in trouble bringing it straight back to them. (this is also a trust thing being a woman and not knowing too much about cars, as they are very open if there are issues).
Nice people, good honest service. A happy customer and a healthy car 😉

My tyre had gone flat whilst trying to inflate it at a petrol station near Kwik Fit when he happened to be there getting petrol - he sorted the tyre for me even making a quick trip back to the garage to get a tool to help. What a gem of a man :) can't thank him enough!!

u. _.For a Kwik Fit they are pretty decent. I've not had any bad dealings and they tell you if you don't need a part changed even if you told them you thought it maybe needed done. Honesty goes a long way.

C.Booked and prepaid a same day MOT at very short notice after having a bad experience with Arnold Clark. The MOT took around 45 minutes to complete. Although the paper work took a long time to come out, during which no one spoke to me, the mechanics were thorough and kind. They fixed a dipped beam due to the bulb being incorrectly in the holder for me free of charge and got it through it’s MOT when Arnold Clark had failed it on this and quoted £90 for the job! I can’t thank the guys at quick fit enough for their honesty and kindness.

They are professional, friendly, explain everything to you and they don't rip you off. I don't feel like I walk in with my back up, ready for an argument - as I don't need to, unlike other big brand garages nearby.
They are reliable, professional, friendly and do the job well. I totally recommend them!

L.I'm always wary of 'big companies', unscrupulous sales practices etc. disinterested staff you know the kind of thing - however i've used this branch of Kwik Fit initially because it is very convenient for my home but have been very pleasantly surprised and now use them time and time again. The guys there have always been curteous , straight-up, no nonsense & above all they don't try to 'up-sell' crap you dont need or want. Recommend them over some of the other rogues in the area who i shall not name.....
