I'm just back from Southside Tyres and had to leave a review as the service was excellent. The young man who replaced my tyre couldn't have been more helpful. He was friendly and honest about my options to repair or replace and very knowledgeable. He even took the time to reprogram my car dashboard. I would recommend this business to everyone and will definitely be going here in future.

The people that work there need to make sure they communicate with each other about the job they are doing at the given moment, and are putting matching tires by default, or at least ask you beforehand if it's a problem to put non matching once, and also to make sure they put the same ppi in all tires, and not where one is almost to a state where it can burst, big safety issue.

My Mum had a faulty tyre pressure sensor TPMS. The dealer wanted over £200 to supply and fit it, but the guys at Southside Tyres told us just to get a part on ebay and they would fit it. They knew the mechanic next door at Househill Garage could program it to her car. Unfortunately, we were sent the wrong sensor by the ebay seller which entailed a second visit to fit the correct part. It was a bit tricky to code, but the team at Southside Tyres and Househill Garage couldn't have been more accomodating. They got it all sorted out without a fuss and would only take a token payment between them despite all the time they spent on it. My mum was delighted. She said they were all true gents; polite sincere and generous. This is the first time we have used either company, but it won't be the last! Thanks once again guys.

Needed a new tyre on Easter Monday after hitting a pothole and ripping my tyre. Called a number of tyre companies and could not get the right tyre in stock until end of the week. Called Southside tyres and they fitted a part worn tyre within the hour 👍🏻 Great price, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend them.

This wee tyre place is great. The boys work really hard and and when my tyre blew out they kept my car overnight until another tyre was ordered. The price for tyres is also very reasonable. Wouldnt go anywhere else. These boys work out in the freezing weather but always have a smile on their faces. I will definately return here . £ 7 puncture repair.

On Thurs 1st of March i was going to work when i hit a curb to avoid a car which was skidding.. . My front driver side tyre just blew up.... No spare wheel in this car just a kit to inflate the tyre which was no used when you have a 5 inches hole in it.... Tried to phone to get help but every where was shut or too busy... I was directed to southside tyres in darnley behing the Nia Roo. I asked a guy who was coming down the street... he told me the place was shut. But miracles do happen.... he took me back to my car and follow me back to his garage. He got me a nearly new tyre....fitted it and charged me only £35 I gave him more than that but he refused and gave me £10 back. His name is Joe. I was stuck and he helped me... he could have charged me anything but he did not. Thanks very much for your help you were brilliant. Didier
