I would like to take this occasion and to thank to Uncle Toms for professionalism and work ethics towards the client. I was advised by a neighbour who had the car fixed at this garage to go confident as the guys there are the best and have also reasonable prices. Just had my BMW fixed and I am happy with the services provided...I was coming with a bad experience from another garage as it's hard to find a good mechanic to trust. I'm very happy that I met Uncle Toms and I will be there any time I have issues with my car!!! Thank you very much indeed!!!

As a female it is hard to find trustworthy mechanics who won't see you coming and rip you off. I was recommended Uncle Tom's and I have to say that they were very helpful and looked at my car there and then. Diagnosed the problem and explained it all to me. I've had my clutch & flywheel done, Antony is a very good and competent mechanic. I only gave 4 stars out of 5 as I find them to be a bit pricey but can't fault them for work quality & ethics. Overall I will not hesitate to use this garage in the future. Thanks

Think I finally found a trustworthy local garage. Had some work done recently by another garage and when I went back after finding a leak they said one of my gearbox seals was leaking and they couldn't do it. So after some searching, I was recommended to Uncle Toms by a friend and from the time I brought my car in to the end of the day I was kept informed and treated with courtesy. They sent me videos of the problems (turns out there were 2 leaks) and explained what needed to be done, how much it would cost and how long it would take to get parts, etc. They followed Govt Covid-19 guidelines and used gloves and seat covers on my car. I'll be thanking my friend and will definitely be recommending and using them again in the future.

VW PHAETON - FULL SERVICE Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all at Uncle Toms in Forest Gate ! From start to finish the team at Uncle Toms had it covered and I wanted to share my experience with you. Firstly upon arrival I was greeted by a gentleman called Tony who inspected my car throughly and then used some antibacterial products to clean down my car before taking it into the workshop. I’d already had a conversation on the phone before to book my car in for a full service and also wanted new brake pads and discs fitted all round too. Over the years I’ve only used a main dealer VW garage for any type of service or repairs on my car which is a top of the range specialist vehicle and thought it’s best for my car until being referred to Uncle Toms. They used the same top spec oil that I’d been paying a fortune for at VW and ordered in genuine VW service parts for the job, saving me a fortune ! Throughly impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail from a technician called Anthony and I would not hesitate to recommend Uncle Toms to anybody if they need a service or repair on their car. Not only did I save hundreds of pounds but I’ve got piece of mind knowing that these guys are good at what they do and happy to say that I’ve just booked my girlfriend’s VW EOS for a service with them next week. I’ve used the uncle toms Workshop on numerous occasions. I’ve have tyre changes done an they always take extra care with the wheels when fitting. I’ve had mot work done, mostly minor stuff but little bits that were needed to pass and the cost is always very reasonable. Service work carried out, wheel bearings changed and cv joints and always done to a high standard. The staff are always Really polite. Always glad to be a return customer for all these reasons. All in all a well run business.

Hi there I’m leaving a review after having my BMW X3 serviced at Uncle Toms. Firstly I would like to say they are very honest and very cheap. I was a bit hesitant due to my previous problems at other garages but these guys are well trusted and talked me through the whole service package. They even showed me my old parts which were removed I have to say I’m a permenant customer for Uncle Toms. Highly recommended.

I don't normally write on things like this and this will sound like it is loaded, fake review but it really isn't. This company has continuously provided me with a quick and easy service and I feel like it needs to be acknowledged. It's usually like going to see the dentist where no one likes having to go, it is usually painful and you have to pay for the experience! Uncle Toms make the whole process so easy, trustworthy and they are really understanding and accommodating. Really very happy with the service we've received from Uncle Tom's this year. Our VW Polo has been to them a couple of times now, nothing has ever been too much bother, they have been able to see us same-day each time. The last time, they happily popped our car back onto the lift so that they could show me exactly what had happened (old, broken part in-hand), and what they had replaced. The car drove like new. This is a proper, old-fashioned, matching-jump-suits, dirt-under-the-fingernails, family-run, garage where they do seem to genuinely care. Add to that: their prices really are very reasonable. My only regret is not having given them a visit earlier on!

My mini died on me and wouldn't hold idle and kept dying. Uncle Tom's had a wiring specialist come out to diagnose the problem and repair the wiring loom. Amazing work and kept me up to date with everything that happened. I've already had 2 of my mates come in and get there cars sorted and have 1 more going to them soon. Highly recommended

found this garage by chance due to having a puncture! Im not local to here & by the time i walked in i was very stressed as i have never had a puncture before & was in an un familiar area. I was made a lovely cup of tea while i waited for my tyre to be fixed & the staff were friendly. (You will remember me with my golf with the dent)! Ask for Tony, probably the cheapest place for tyres, exhausts or any type of mechanical work required. Uncle Toms has been going for years. Plus good advice if you may have unknown problems, and everything is explained in plain English. My first visit was in the early 80's to have a crossflow exhaust replaced on a mk1 escort.
