Can’t recommend these guys enough. Lovely Tom sorted my tyres today out at short notice, and for a really reasonable price, after I got fleeced by some chancers recently - I had three new tyres fitted around Christmas time due to slow punctures; drama over, I thought, but I dropped into wood street tyres this afternoon as the pressure had dropped suddenly on one of the new ones. Turns out two of the valves were leaking, and none of the new wheels were balanced - the new tyres still had the factory weights in! Very embarrassed to have become the cliche new driver getting scammed by a backstreet tyre shop, but Tom set everything right today, quickly and professionally, and explained everything super clearly so it doesn’t happen again. I even got a recommendation from him for a local garage for MOT and repairs so I don’t have to navigate the Wild West that is london garages! There’s a reason these guys have been Walthamstow stalwarts since the 60s, and I’ll not go anywhere else for tyre stuff. Thanks so much Tom!

While staying with my sister and not being from the area myself, I contacted this father and son duo after reading the reviews here. I wasn’t disappointed the reviews I read were bang on. Friendly , fast and affordable service. I knew I might need one or two tyres replacing bringing it in as my steering rack was all out of whack, After a inspection from Tom and a through explanation as to what was the issue with each tyre... I needed all four replacing..... these guys were completely honest with me (I thought I might have an issue with my steering rack) they explained the issue was more than likely the tyres and they were right, as soon as the new tyres went on the steering rack was fine ( I do wonder had I taken it else where would I have been told your steering rack needs replacing !) due to stock Tom only had two of the four tyres I needed... and I needed to use the car that afternoon.... that wasn’t an issue for these guys they put two new ones on and used two of the reasonable tyres for the back so I could make an appointment that afternoon and took it back the next day for the other two to be put on. The price they gave me was honest and fair. I live in Bedford and I’ve replaced tyres before that certainly weren’t as competitive as the price I got from the two Toms. Well done guys really impressed with your service. I will definitely return to these guys when visiting my sister and my tyres need replacing 👍

Excellent service. If you got a puncture don't go to a garage who sells Tyre. I have gone to few garages everyone said to change the Tyre. But this guy clearly explained when to change it and repaired it with in minutes. Off course he sells tyres, but he didn't tried to sell one. He is a genuine guy!

Nice people and great service. Had my 2 front tyres changed in about 20 minutes. Prices are reasonable but you could probably find cheaper if you looked elsewhere, but I prefer to put my money into a local business like this rather than Halfords etc. Will be back! (when these ones wear out).

Nice People and Great Service ! We were travelling few months ago to Bulgaria and Tom fitted winter tyres for us, he also gave us a very reasonable price and explained to us what is the differance between winter tyres and all season ones. He also showed us the date on them to make sure they are still in warranty(We didn't even know there is such thing for tyres). Very trustworthy as it is a family business and they don't try to sell you something which you are not gonna be happy about! Would definitely recomment if you are looking for reliable and honest people!
