Booked in for an MOT online and was a little cautious as heard all sorts of stories about larger chain shops yet found this one very honest and refreshingly nice for a change! They found couple problems that I had overlooked even after checking my own car so initially thought they're having me on but they didn't quote any costs or any parts as it was obvious to them I do my own maintenance so simply said "here's what needs attention - get it sorted and come back within 10 days, don't drive the car until then if you can avoid". Didn't charge for a retest either and we're happy for me to leave the car with them for over 24 hours! Very happy and will return! 👍

I have used this branch for a number of years and they really are excellent. The last time I went in I went in was after 3 years having changed cars. Came to this branch last minute and was squeezed in immediately. Colin was very friendly and informative. Have used this garage a few times before. Dropped in for a quick oil and filter service. I did not have a booking but was happily accommodated. Oil required was non-standard but was ordered and available within the hour - great to see the correct oil for the car being used. Was also happy to see a quality MANN oil filter going on. A Very bad service. I had installed pair of brand new front tyres at this branch. 2 days later one of them started to loose air. I had to add some pressure every couple of days. I went back to the branch. Was told that the leak is from the dirt on the wheel as the tyre isn't fitted properly and they will charge me £20 to reinstall the tyre. Tried to speak to the branch manager, they don't have one. Spoke to the complain department who spoke to the same guy at the branch and was told the same thing!!!! I was contacted by the new branch manager directly after I posted my review and he said it was a misjudgement by the guy at the branch and he offered me a full repair. Thanks

Cannot recommend this place enough. I dealt with Colin when getting a new exhaust & tyres. He was so accommodating and helpful throughout. He fixed my car so quickly and did a great job. If I had any problems again in the future I know where I would go!

Visited this particular branch today for a tyre replacement, upon arrival I was greeted by Colin who was very informative, patient and a pleasure to deal with. I would describe their service as above standard, reason being because the whole experience and customer service from start to finish could not have been smoother. Attentive staff who seem to have a fun and friendly rapport, treat their customers well (from what I saw whilst waiting) and didn't feel at all rushed. I'll admit I do go off reviews before visiting any establishment or spending any of my money and so I feel this would help other first time customers in their decision on where and who to visit when it comes to tyres. I only went in for the one tyre replacement and Colin kindly pointed out that my drivers rear tyre was also looking a little worse for wear (crack apparent and tread was low) but not once did I feel pushed into replacing the second one which I opted to anyway seeing as though i was already there and the prices where justifiable. Thanks guys very happy with my service and will definitely visit again if & when needed!

Car was due MOT, always a bit wary of where to go, a friend recommend National Tyres on Chester Rd so gave them a whirl, all I can say is 5 star service, MOT, repair and service, all in one afternoon, a call off the manager explaining exactly what needed doing, lovely guy ,took time to explain everything properly as I'm not all that car savvy, and it wasn't expensive either, definitely will go back next year.

I dealt with the manager Lea Benn and he was a joy to deal with, My car was mot'd - and it passed first time with an advisory on front wiper - so I had the wiper replaced for £12 and the mot only cost £35 Great place ! Visited National Tyres yesterday with tyre pressure warning on my car despite having checked pressure at local petrol station. All were checked and found to be below the correct pressure. All tyres were inflated to correct pressure. There was NO CHARGE for this excellent service, thank you National Tyres.
