After extensive browsing for the best deal out there, I decided to go with TheWheelShop for a space saver 17' wheel + tools for my car (BMW 520d). Order arrived within 1 day and I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the whole set (tyre is Continental!). Telescopic wrench broke after the first bolt and the shop promptly offered to replace it for a new one for free! Excellent customer service and product - highly recommended to anyone looking for a spare wheel!

Ordered from The Wheel Shop with standard delivery and arrived the next day. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size, totally my fault. I telephoned them and arranged a return which I paid for as it was my fault and understand this. I am so impressed with this company. Everything arrived at least 3 days before I expected and what a quality product. It just one of those things that you feel good about, the wheel fitted under the boot floor with ample room to spare, the jack felt robust so wouldn't be worried about using it on my heavey Merc GLC and everything had a cover to keep it clean. We bought a Ford Transit MK8 spare wheel and tyre from Spare Wheel Shop. I sent a query first with our chassis number to confirm that it was the correct one. Contact was simple and I got a reply back quickly confirming that it was. I then ordered the wheel on the evening of the 17th, after office hours, the wheel and tyre arrived all ready to go by mid-morning today, the 20th. Very good service. Looking for a space saver wheel for a Zafira Tourer, got in touch with these and they sent me the links for the wheel and the cover. Bought an Audi in Feb which was supplied with the tyre inflation kit which is useless to me. They said if I have a flat, call the recovery services. They were adamant that a space saver didnt exist for an A4 and if one did, it would be very expensive. Useless. The missus can now relax a bit more as her Fiesta, like most, had no spare just the tacky repair kit which renders the tyre useless anyway after injecting repair fluid in. I don’t normally bother to write reviews but this time I felt compelled to do so. I have recently bought a used Mazda CX-5 (2015) and, as seems usual these days, it came without a spare wheel. Instead it came with the ‘gunk’ that tyre repairers are reluctant or flatly refuse to deal with. I bought a space saver wheel for my previous car, a Nissan Juke, and used the ‘gunk’ to repair a wheelbarrow wheel. It lasted a week! Having researched the market I found that I could spend over £400 for a ‘genuine’ Mazda space saver kit. Instead I found a compatible wheel and tyre at The Wheel Shop, Manchester. Ordered on the 18th, it arrived, free delivery, by the 20th. Parcel tracking was clear and easy. The price - £139.99, but it gets better. I have a bottle jack and a multi-socket wheel brace from a past Land Rover (so heavy duty) but I decided that these were a bit bulky. Almost against my (stingy) better judgement I decided to pay an extra £10 (yes £10) for the jack kit. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be a Halfords 1½ tonne jack and a StreetWize telescopic wheel brace with 4 different sized sockets, all in the original packaging. I immediately went online and found that the RRP for these items was £28.95, (for an additional £10, as I mentioned). With some careful measuring and the judicious use of a Stanley knife these items are now securely stowed in my CX-5, utilising the already shaped (for jack, wheel brace etc) heavy duty foam underneath the boot floor. I’ve kept the bits so that when I come to change the vehicle I can reassemble them. The fact that my previous car had a space saver tyre kit cut no ice with the buyer so I will keep this one and, if I don’t buy another CX-5, I’ll sell the kit on E-bay! I can now relax in the knowledge that, now that I have a spare wheel, I won’t get a puncture!
