Brilliant service from Dan and his team at National Tyres Northampton. Brought in our Abarth 595 with a binding rear brake caliper, they managed to replace the rear discs and pads within 2 hours - all with no prior notice! It saved us a train ride home and a car stuck miles away!

Fantastic job from the guys , initially failed mot on a bulge on inside of tyre , I asked to look at tyre which indeed had a bulge , Daniel then showed me the tyre of the wheel rim , it had a 12 inch crack on the inside ready to split anytime , my initial thought was it should not have failed mot afterwards I realise he probably saved my life , thank you guys

What can I say for a place that is running on two staff they did a great job. I was after two tyres that I purchased on line with a 09.00 booked fitting time. I arrived just before 09.00 to be greated by a friend face. Nothing was left to chance and by 09.25 both tyres were fitted (all inclusive). I would recommend this branch to anyone for service, reliability, cost and most of all friendly helpful staff.

Brilliant service throughout! Mrs Campling called the day before to check availabilty and price. She arrived early for appoinment no problem and the car was seen to straight away. They needed to send out for additional part and all completed within the advised two hours plus the opportunity to view repairs before and after.

Easy to get to, good online order and appointment booking (which is cheaper than phoning the depot direct) did have an indoor waiting area but I chose to walk round outside. Tyres changed on 2 wheels in about half an hour every bit as good as their branch in Bedford I used to use before I moved will use again

I would thoroughly recommend this branch of National Tyres for your MOT, tyre replacements and minor car repairs. I found that their telephone support to be pretty good, especially if your call gets picked up by a staff member called "Matthew". His level of customer care goes well beyond what you would expect, Matthew actively tries to help you by locating parts or giving you labour estimates. He is rather knowledgeable and able to explain technical issues in brief lay-man terms (such as what a steering gait is on a power-steering rack). The only negative point is that this branch is unwilling to use parts purchased by the customer themselves, even if the parts are delivered directly to National Tyres on-site. I recently purchased my own disc brakes, disc pads and coil springs from Euro Car Parts and wanted this specific garage to install them. The front-desk team gave me a labour estimate and told me to bring in my vehicle (and parts) later in the day, but when I called them before driving up, I was told that the branch manager had overruled the front-desk team and said that they nor longer wanted to do the job. Pushing for more information, I was informed that the branch manager refused the job because they were unable to provide a warranty on the parts purchased by the customer (which is a reasonable and fair explanation), but I only wanted them to guarantee the labour (installation). I pleaded with them, but they were not interested in taking the job. I didn't quite understand why it wasn't possible for them supply the labour aspect only, but thankfully I live in an area that has a competitive amount of garages so I got another garage to install my disc brakes, disc pads and coil springs. Overall impression: a good garage if you need a MOT done and if you don't mind them buying the parts (with markups) for repairs. Excellent customer care team, and knowledgeable staff.

Quick and efficient. Ordered tyres online and arranged for them both to be fitted. Once we arrived they started work on the car straight away and everything was done within about 25 mins.

Very quick at fitting two new tyres and correcting front wheel alliment, also the fact you can spread the cost on 0% finance is a bonus in this current pandemic.

They are very good at tyres but that's all , when I had a problem at the left front tyre they quoted me very high and they told me that I need to change at least 3 pieces when in reality I needed to change only the steering arm . So if you need a tyre change or a wheel balancing you can go there , but if you will hear that you have any problem and they will give you a quote, go to another garage and ask for a second opinion.
