I rang dustcap yesterday (28th Jan) at 3:50pm, I got told it would be a 2 hour wait, I then had a call at 4:30 to say that the guy was at my car. Thank you Rhys for fitting a new tyre to my wife's car after a puncture near Trowell Services. Green Flag unfortunately were incapable of helping and wanted to charge £275 for a tyre which they couldn't even source, The alternative was two separate journeys in a tow truck, one to Leicester then one to Bedford. Burst my tyre at 11pm yesterday, booked to have a tyre fitted on the website, rang up at 8am today and was told they could fit me in for an appointment at 9.30am however I couldn’t make that time due to meetings at work commencing at 10am. The man on the phone said he would try to shuffle things around and would get back to me. I then rearranged my own day to be able to make 9.30am and rang back to be told he’s managed to fit me in at 5.30pm which was brilliant. I was really pleased and confirmed I would see him/his fitter at 5.30pm. Fast forward to 5.50pm and no tyre fitter at my house, I rang the number and was assured that the fitter was on his way to me and wouldn’t be long. At 6.20pm I rang back and complained that I had been waiting 50 minutes past my allotted time and I wasn’t happy. The attitude of the bloke on the phone was appalling, no apologies or hint of customer service whatsoever. When the fitter finally arrived (at 6.40pm) he was a lovely bloke, funny and polite. I would have given this company a rating of 1 star if it wasn’t for him. Wouldn’t waste my time with this company unless you have a lot of spare time to spend waiting around for them.

The guy was great and helpful on the night. However trying to get info about my tyre since then has been hard work. I have rang numerous times with no answer, spoke to someone 3 times and emailed twice and asked for certain details of my old tyre that they took away so i can claim it back but i haven't had any of the info i requested so i haven't been able to claim my £250 back.

Having found a screw in a tyre less than a month old, why is it old tyres never pick up screws! I called dustcap.co.uk Sunday morning. Would highly recommend. I had an issue with a tyre which turned out to be the valve. I had an important meeting to go to the next day so having the car was essential. Fantastic service. Unbeknown to me when i bought my car, it came with Continentals Contiseal. Which is a tar like substance inside the tyre designed to help stop punctures. It kinda works in my case. However, as i found out it basically means most tyre places will tell you they can't repair a puncture on them. This isn't true! They can be repaired, even Continental say this. Good news is, Dustcap can do the repair, and offer excellent service at the same time. Saved my a new tyre, and from now on will definitely be using them from now on!

Jason... a true gentleman! Helped me - a senior citizen sort my badly split tyre after I stupidly caught my wheel on a kirb at an island. He picked me up from home after the RAC guy drove me home to wait - he organised Jason from Dustcap for me....busy Sunday evening - well worth the wait! Allowed me to relax in his warm van away from the cold whilst he fixed new tyre. Polite caring and friendly - what more can I say.......even re parked my car on the busy A614 safely for me to drive off after driving behind me for further safety in the dark. Brilliant prompt service and would highly recommend. As an added bonus, I queried with Jason whether the suspension arms I had been told needed urgently replacing were unduly wearing the tyres - he didn't think so and his advice was to get the tracking done and see what a small independent garage said. The recommended garage did not think there was anything wrong with the suspension arms, saving me £300. Thank you!!! :-)

Got a puncture on way to work, so by the time i got there it was flat, rang dustcap and rhys answered the call and said he would come and sort it just send location details, not being from the area was worried about my alloys which didnt have mark on and some places ie. halfords and kwikfit will mark them for you for free.😂😂 I didnt need to worry rhys sorted the puncture and not a mark on the alloys. I admit I chose these because it's a bank holiday and they were the first company willing to come out today (same day) on a Christmas bank holiday, that coupled with a few good reviews and a reasonable price was enough for me. However, I now recommend them whole heartedly and as highly as I possibly can. He was on time, really helpful and got the job done quickly. Not only that, but also spotted my front tyres were a bit low on air, and as I explained one always goes down he also checked that, found the leak and cleaned it up thoroughly. As I drove into work (From Derby to Nottingham) couple of days ago, one of the car tyres burst as I got onsite. Fortunately, I was able to get to the car park safely. I went online and found dustcap.co.uk, they had good google reviews and facebook too - which was reassuring. I gave them a call, few hours later they arrived and not only did a good job of replacing the tyre. Dean went the extra mile, had a look at all four of my tyres, gave me some friendly advice, and was very honest. I would recommend these guys - they're honest and hard-working. Fixed the problem and had no issues driving home. I'll be using them again purely because I can trust them. The fact they will come to my home to change future tyres is also a win for me.

Great service . Had a puncture, nail beyond repair. As had driven on tyre till could safely stop. No spare but repair kit as modern car . Once contacted and I had given tyre size was offered cost options. Arrived within 45 mins kept informed on time of arrival. Tyre changed promptly and cost less than tyre centre where AA would have had to take me. Highly recommend for emergency tyre replacement in Nottingham.
