They fit us in for an MOT space, which was like gold dust everywhere. Quick, friendly service where you are kept up to date about work that needs doing before it is done. Very quick when go ahead given. Reasonably priced for the work that was done. No pressure to complete advisory items there. Office open early for drop off and site accessible for drop off outside hours. Would recommend.

I brought my car to HiQ on Tuesday for an Mot and unfortunately it failed. Living away from home and knowing nothing about cars it was really daunting hearing this. Paul and the team were so helpful and advised me in great detail of what was wrong and how to fix it, with a full price breakdown. When my car was being fixed they found further issues from previous repairs and made sure I knew what was going on the whole time. Even taking the time to speak to my dad on the phone, who is up North to keep him in the loop. They went above and beyond to sort my car, without it costing me an arm and a leg. After being let down by 2 garages that I booked for my orthcoming MOT, due to covid and ramp breakdown, and would not be able to offer me a Saturday appointment as I work full time. I contacted HiQ on the recommendation of my daughter, who took her car for MOT and was satisfied with the service provided. I was quickly offered a Saturday appointment, took my car and waited in the very clean reception area, that provided free coffee and Paul was very welcoming and provided an excellent service, would definitely recommend HiQ, and I will be taking my car back for a service and annual MOT.

Turbo had gone on my Nissan x-trail. The HIQ team were excellent and sorted it in rapid time for me to move house. No messing around, clear as punch on dates when the car would be assessed and ready. Also gave me a heads up on a couple of other issues I need to get sorted. All costs were very reasonable and the price was £100 cheaper than initially quoted. Also came with a free tyre assessment! So very pleased with the service. It's not easy being a single woman and having to cope with doing car stuff but these guys made it so easy. The pick up and drop off service is a godsend. After having my MOT & service cancelled due to tester going down with covid, it was a rush to find an available garage. HiQ had the available dates and bonus was a courtesy car for £10. I'd barely got home after a bit of shopping when a call came...it had passed! (Hooray) but needed tyres and tracking (expected). Anyway, told them to go ahead and sort it while doing the service. Couple of hours later job was done. Clean, job, good prices, very cheerful and respectful crew...well done guys!

Actually I took my neighbour there for her mazda bongo camper van. She couldn't open the sliding door on the nearside. It was apparently due to the rusted clamps on her roof rack with the large top box on top weighing it down and therefore obstructing the sliding door. They removed the roof rack and top box and problem solved. And no charge for doing it. They even helped her put the top box and contents inside her van and disposed the old roof rack for her. Nice one lads. Very impressed.

I have been using Faraday Mill for my MOT and service for two years now. Unbeatable on price for these services AND repairs by a long mile compared to many other garages I’ve tried. They pride themselves on not mucking a customer about with cost. My MOT this year found I had an egg shaped wheel. HiQ found places for me to find a new wheel (I had no idea) and had me back in on the same day before closing to fix my car up. No one really wants to visit a tyre shop on their holiday to fix a puncture, however if you have to then you couldn't find a more friendly and helpful place to go. We didn't have an appointment and popped in as we past by and they were able to fit us in sort our problem out. Booked my car in for an MOT & Full Service. As soon as I arrived, the process was explained to me clearly and I left my car with them. I was called to tell me my car had passed it's MOT and received a text to come and collect my car once the service was finished. Once I collected my car, I was given my car keys in a sealed bag with some car related goodies thrown in (which was a lovely touch) and was told that the car was cleaned to prevent the risk of Covid, but was also given a cleansing wipe for good measure. Overall, the service was very professional and well managed (especially with the current Covid situation). The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to other people and return myself.

Previously I would only ever use Dan at AMC Electrics in Millbay. My family and friends have used AMC for many years right back to the early days when his father Derek ran the garage. They are brilliant and I would highly recommend them. The only reason that I went to HiQ is that there was some specialist work that needed doing on my Range Rover Evoque and was recommended them by AMC. There is always that trepidation with using a garage that you haven’t used before, but because I was recommended them by someone trusted it made it an easier decision. Today (6/3/18) I called Faraday mill car and commercial to ask for an MOT asap as mine had run out that day, I was offered an appointment within 2 hours of calling which I found to be really good service. I was met by a young gentlemen who showed me where to park my car. I handed over the keys and was told I could wait in reception. The reception area was very welcoming and warm which was a bonus as it was cold outside. I was offered to have a coffee and to help myself to water. And also told if I needed anything else then to ask. At all times the lads working within the garage kept me up to date with what was happening with my car. I advised them what time I needed to collect my kiddies from school and although my car failed it MOT they made sure all the work was completed in time for me to collect them, and leave with 12 months MOT. The service they provided was very quick, affordable, and all the young men working there were so polite and friendly towards me. I would Defo recommend the garage to all friends and family within the Plymouth area and I will Defo use the garage again in the future if I have any car queries. I've been looking for a suitable garage I can trust for a few years now and I've found it with Faraday mill mot.The staff are courteous attentive and very easy to deal with,the prices are very competitive and the work is done as requested.i would highly recommend this garage because of their professional approach and the fact that they kept me up to date and informed throughout the repair job they were doing for me,this was a cambelt and water pump replacement plus aux belt tensioner ,so glad I found this garage albeit by accident.

I took my car to faraday mill after it developed a slight rattle when depressing the clutch pedal. They informed me that it was the dual mass flywheel starting to get worn. I had it booked in on their advice and had a call the following day that it was all ready to collect. I had the use of a courtesy car whilst mine was in the shop. The fitters did a great job and my car is as sweet as a nut and a very smooth gear change They advised me to get the clutch and clutch slave cylinder changed whilst it was stripped which I had done. I researched the life of a dual mass flywheel kit on my car and it's usually apx 90, 000 to 100,000 . Mine has 95, 472 on the clock so it's about right. I would definitely recommend faraday and would definitely use the services they provide in future.

bought a car from Plympton car centre couple years back and this garage was the warranty garage for them at the time , they fitted a new shock absorber which I cannot complain about however when a misfire devopled they had the car for 3 days fitted the wrong igntion coil and the misfire was still there so upon going back and forth several times I decided to take it to another garage .....a cracked spark plug was found to be the problem, so 3 stars as the shock absorber was fitted very well but the rest was poor,....would I use again, possibly if different mechanic.
