Excellent tyre center. I've been here several times for tyres and recently to repair a puncture caused by a screw in the tread. They obviously remove the offending screw a insert a rubber bung for £ 17.95 ... job done. Quick and very efficient staff. Thoroughly recommended.

It can get very busy here at times and probably for good reason, the quality is good and the prices are even better. Victor Barry are often a fair way cheaper than any other new tyre supplier in Plymouth. They work quickly and make sure the job is done correctly. extra point goes to without fail one of the fitters saying 'you don't see many of these around any more' when my Peugeot 205 needs tyres. Ha.

Yes....you can buy new tyres almost anywhere BUT I chose to use Victor Barry because they have been around for a long time and their price was very competitive. Service standards were high. Staff were interested in my vehicle and treated it as if it was their own. Very impressed.Thank-you.

My daughter phoned me after getting a horrendous quote elsewhere. They said she would need a complete exhaust system. This was not the case after the chaps here examined it and surprise, surprise the large chain were looking to rip off my daughter. 30 minutes after my call, she had a quote for the part she needed and it was fitted for a fraction of the price. As a taxi driver I get punctures quiet often being on the road more than the average guy. I use this company because their service is top notch. Very friendly and welcoming very reasonable tyre prices for brand new tyres. Have to be brand new for taxis otherwise it's illegal to driver retreats or part work tyres if found out. I've been using Victor Barry's Tyres for over twenty years, however my latest visit really topped off the consistently excellent service I have always recieved. A rear tyre wouldn't allow me to top it up with air at my local supermarket. A bit unusual but it was going flat. I took my car to Victor Barry's for his team to have a look. They whipped off the tyre, submerged it in water, gave it a really thorough check. The operator called me over and said the tyre was fine but the valve had got damaged. This was promptly replaced and the tyre back on my car, fully pumped and ready to go. The fee, just a £5.00! Cannot recommend this great, honest service highly enough! Thanks, Jules
