I phoned 5 minutes before they were due to close. My tyre was flat. I'd pumped it up enough to get there. They kindly waited for me. The service was fast and efficient as usual. I got a second hand tyre for £20 which suited me. However the previous visit I took my son's car. They broke half the bumper off & put it in the boot without saying anything!

Polite helpful staff and owners, they go out of their way to help, most important of all they do not over tighten the wheel nuts and tighten them to the correct torque setting for your vehicle, their prices are good as well, I have used them near enough from when they started up 20 odd years ago.

Lee and the lads do a great job here, always taking care not to damage rims or TPMS valves, they can some times do a pick up and delivery service of loose wheels. They also fit motorbike tyres. Highly recommended.

Replaced the inner tube on my Africa Twin, quickly approached by staff as to what my problem was. Was back on the road in 40 minutes, good job.

I called Auto Trade Tyres after a recommendation from a Facebook group. They sponsor Southampton bike night, so gave them a go. Very helpful on the phone, they didn't have the tyres I wanted, but phoned around and got back to me very quickly. We agreed when I could get there for fitting, although I had to defer for a day after stabbing myself with a penknife and nicking a vein. I arrived, and the guy who does bikes apologies for the wait (it wasn't long, and I was quite happy), and set about removing the wheels from my bike. Once the tyres were changed and wheels replaced, the axle nuts were partially tightened, then he went off to check the correct torque values on the interwebs before coming back out to tighten to final torque. A wipe over to remove any marks from fitting, and all was good. The price was within £3 of FWR in London, who claim to sell the cheapest tyres in the country, so I was more than happy. I'll be returning to Auto Trade with both all of our vehicles from now on - two motorbikes, a car and a pick up truck.
